Today, I did my FIRST EVER BRAZILIAN WAX!! **GASP** IT WAS AMAZING! Well, the waxing part stung a bit...but I have tattoos and went through 30-hours of unmedicated labor, so, this wasn't as bad as I had imagined. (Not saying you have to have those things to be able to tolerate a Brazilian wax, but that's how I psyched myself up for it). My appointment was at 8:45 this morning. She was there already so I didn't have to wait. She greeted me and then left the room so I could get undressed from the waist down (privacy, for this? Yes, thank you very much!) She already knew how apprehensive I was and how nervous this unknown was to me. She literary walked me through each step she was doing! She kept me talking...and not mindless babble, but really engaging conversation. I didn't have to strike an awkward pose - like the cannonball (knees to chest), the frog (soles of feet together and knees open wide), and I certainly didn't have to go face down, ass up! And she went over what to expect, what to do and what not to do, and extensive after care. There was no time to keep one side covered while she did the other side - she worked both sides so easily! So, when the right side was done, she just had me change my leg positions! (The position I was in was on my back, if left leg was straight, my right leg was bent to make a figure 4, and vice versa.) And for the back end, all I did was lie on my stomach. I didn't feel self-conscious, overwhelmed, or exposed at all. I even bought these little bottles of aftercare stuff, called Love My Muff! She uses them so she was able to explain their purpose to me. Oh, and when talking about those areas, she never made it crude or uncomfortable, just matter-of-fact. Before I end, let me tell you, she has the best music! So, with all that said, I highly recommend Sweet Vanity waxing.

The first time I came here, I was nervous as I had only ever had my nails done professionally once before. I was also treating my mom, so I scoured reviews to find the *best* place and landed on Cute Nails & Spa. My mom and I both got gel manicures and upgraded pedicures. It was a great experience all around. My mom still talks about it, 9 months later (I need to bring her again!). I've been back twice since then, the second time bringing my husband for his first pedicure which he thoroughly enjoyed. My last visit was yesterday and it was the best yet. The tech who did my pedicure turned out to be the owner's sister and then she revealed the lady doing my nails was their mother! What an honor to have these two ladies working on my nails! Both did an excellent job and were constantly checking to see if everything was okay throughout the process. I had a few specific requests and they were so accommodating. I drive from Rowlett to go here because of the consistent service and great atmosphere. I'm planning to return soon with my husband as he's jealous he missed out this last time. read more

I've been to countless nail salons here in Rockwall and I think I've finally found the one I'll return to indefinitely! I had such a great experience at Cute Nails. They took me on as a last-minute walk in and were so welcoming and friendly right off the bat. The nail techs, owners, and customers were all chatting and joking with one another - an environment which I've never experienced in a nail salon before. It made me feel right at home! My nail tech Kathy was truly amazing. Her attention to detail was wonderful, and she worked with me to achieve a shape and length that I loved. The store was very clean, and they used sterilized instruments and new buffers and files (this should be standard - but you'd be surprised how many nail salons use dirty or old instruments and tools). When my nails were finished, they even offered to walk me to my car with an umbrella since it was storming outside. Overall my experience was 10/10, both in nails and in customer service, and I'll definitely be returning! read more

This place is AMAZING!!! You MUST check this place out! It is family owned and they treat you like you are one of their family! They treat you with a sparkling glass of wine when you walk into the door and it gets better as you get one treatment after another! I was treated so special by Holly with a pedicure, she added a hot towel wrap just because! It was not part of my package but I had told her that I love it, so she treated me. I then decided to get a facial wax because they were all so kind, I was fortunate to get Annie, she was so delicate, I felt like I could stay forever! I usually don't write a review this quick but I literally just got in my car after leaving cute nails!! I've been on the hunt for a good nail salon that I can come back to over and over. A friend told me about cute nails! I stopped in, and they got me in super quick. The man at the front desk was so sweet and helpful. The lady that helped me was named Emily! She's amazing. She didn't speed through my nails, but took her time making sure each nail was perfect! I was hesitant on the length and she was happy to shorten them for me! Now they are perfect. Had a fantastic experience here! I normally go to a place in Mesquite, but found Cute Nails & Spa on Yelp, since I was in the Rockwall area and needed to get my nails done quick. The staff here is super sweet, and Nathan, my nail tech, was GREAT! Super helpful and attentive; his attention to detail was greatly appreciated (my nails came out practically perfect!) I hadn't had my nails done in years and had them done during the holidays. I came in with a picture of a nude and white ombre and the guy who did my nails did exactly what I wanted. He was very particular and my nails have never looked so good. It was a little more than I had spent in the past, but worth it. Also, they painted both of my daughters nails. Usually their polish comes off the same days, but they both lasted about a week which was impressive. read more

I was moved to a pedi chair within 10mins, but the colors to choose from I was pointed to but no customer service. I got sat down, my toe person came over, but I waited in the chair over 15 mins, and 5 people that came in before me got serviced immediately. I was given a bowl to wipe off my dip mani, it took over 30 mins, and I did it myself. My hands cramped, no direction, no nail person assigned. During this time, I was getting a foot massage that did not last 12 minutes and I could not even focus on enjoying it because I vigorously was still rubbing my fingernails. The pedicure was short, I could not speak and ask questions and it was a very stressful environment. She was nice but the experience was difficult. I was then told I need to move to a nail chair after my toes for my nails. I do these at the same time so I don't have to be at the salon for 2.5 hours. I got up mid service as there was no one who could understand me or talk to me. The shape of my nails were misunderstood, the colors were not as expected and even when I showed extreme discomfort, I did say I would pay for what was complete, but it was $34 for an anxious 1.5 hour experience for an important work trip that I can never get back. I had a full blown panic attack and had to leave- please work on helping customers understand how you operate. I felt embarrassed, disregarded, and unappreciated. you are new and so are your customers. *Also, please do not play children's shows in an entirely adult environment.

When I called to inquire about the charge, I was immediately offered a refund. However, my concern was never the amount itself. The issue is transparency. Customers should be informed of any additional fees before a transaction is completed so they can make an informed decision about whether to proceed. There was no signage posted at the register, and the fee was never verbally disclosed during checkout. Additionally, staff engaged my minor child in personal conversations regarding her appearance without first addressing me as her parent. As we were leaving, we were also repeatedly encouraged to leave a 5-star review, which felt uncomfortable and inappropriate. Businesses have an obligation to be transparent regarding pricing and fees. Undisclosed charges, even small ones, undermine customer trust. I believe customers deserve full disclosure of all fees before payment is processed, not after they review their receipt. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we may think twice about returning.
