I am never going back to this shop after today's experience. I went in for a pedicure & Next Gen, the spa was DIRTY, the tech was trying to change the plastic once she saw the dirty water...it was gross..and the Tech didn't do a great job, my feet are literally in pain at this moment, 2 hours later. My Nail Tech Experience: Tech 1 drilled my nails, she left, Tech 2 wrapped my nails in aluminum, he got up & left, I sat there for about 15 minutes & Tech 3 came by - she asked what I wanted I was frustrated from explaining what I wanted to 3 different people, none of which communicated with each other regarding my request. I let Tech 3 know that it would be helpful if I didn't have to explain myself to three different people - she got up and left as well. This is not my first time at this shop, I'd been going there for a while & took a break from it because their color scheme is not the greatest & they really don't have a cohesive color scheme for you to select. I should have walked out, but they were still doing the $78 pedicure on me (too expensive for the wack & painful job they did.) After the painful pedicure, I was told to move to a table where I waited for about 35 more minutes for Tech 4, who "was a higher level" according to Tech 1... All in all, I was at this place for 2 and a half hours, got charged $99 & left dissatisfied. I will never go back!! To Cute Nails Management, When you shift techs during one customer's visit, it gives the impression that your client is not worth your time. Since this is not the first time this happens to me at your location, I will not be returning and I will not recommend your shop to anyone!! read more

I have been getting pedicures and my eyebrows, upper lip and chin waxed for about 25 years. I don't usually go to the same place more than a few times because none of them, from the elite salons to the very basic, have ever wowed me. However, that is about to change. My experience yesterday at Cute Nails in Rockwall has won me over. I was greeted quickly and Phoenix went straight to work on my feet with the orange organic pedicure. She offered a drink and made sure I was comfortable. My feet tend to look more like hooves, but Phoenix was able to get them smoother than anyone else ever has. Her massage and scrub technique was just right. She cut my nails short as requested and did a superb job on the shape and polish. Next, I saw Annie for waxing. I have fair, sensitive skin and light brows and facial hair that is difficult to see. Most techs miss a lot of hair even when I have shown them where to look. Not Annie! Not only did she take the initiative to trim my brows, she was extremely thorough on all of the areas. She also saw that my skin was reacting and applied Neosporin without being asked. I typically get an ugly 'stache and beard breakout within hours of waxing and Annie's expertise kept that to a minimum. I keep tweezers in the car so I can pluck everything that is missed after waxing, but for the first time I didn't have to. Yay! Throughout, the manager checked in to make sure all was well during my visit. I also left with a gift of hand sanitizer from Bath and Bodyworks. How nice! The salon was clean, comfortable and pleasant, not the lowest prices around but the wonderful staff, services and overall experience are well worth paying a bit more. Was looking for a new place to try and Cute Nails and Spa did not disappoint. Vy did my nails with Nexgen. They came out great. Cindy did my Classic pedicure. So relaxing. I also liked that the technicians did not talk among themselves like they do at other places. When they did it was in English. I enjoyed my time there and will definitely be back. I've been looking for a new Nail Salon in Rockwall for quite some time as my favorite changed owners and quality fell dramatically. After giving them three tries after the switch, I won't be going back. I've been to Cute twice now for a fill and pedi and they are FANTASTIC! The staff listens, services are excellent, shop is clean and my nails couldn't look better! Looking forward to trying their other services like facials and even considering the eyebrow microblading (sp?). I haven't looked but hoping they have Lash services and if not, considering adding it with a well trained technician. read more

I walked into this nail salon expecting a wait since it was a Saturday and I didn't have an appointment. Surprisingly, I was helped right away. I was motioned toward a pedicure chair, but I said I had not picked a nail color. I was told they would bring the colors to me. Then they proceeded to push gel polish. I said I did not want gel polish. It made me uncomfortable they way they kept pushing it. They showed me the pedicure list and although they were much more expensive than anywhere I had been recently, I selected the cheapest one ($49). I make my judgment on the cheapest thinking if they do a good cheap pedicure they would do a great expensive one if I came back. This pedicure was one of the worst ones I have ever had. It was rushed (total of 30 minutes), my nails were not trimmed well and the polish looked terrible. While I understand it was their cheapest pedicure, I expected a better one. Obviously, I will never go back to this salon. read more

Very disappointing experience. My husband and I went yesterday, and I underwhelmed with my pedicure. They weren't able to get my water warm, and it got relatively cold while I had to wait (soaking) 20 minutes for a technician. Their prices are higher than other places and didn't offer as much for the price as other less expensive spas. To add to it, 24 hours later, my toe is infected to the point it's achy to even touch. They took their time and were very thorough. All of the staff are very professional. The place is extremely clean. This will be my new place to go. I've been here twice now and have been very pleased with my experience. They're very professional and organized and my nail techs speak English well. I had Johnny today for my manicure and he suggested Nexgen instead of my regular gel because my nails were weak from the gel polish. I was a little nervous to try it but he did my pinkie nail to show me and let me decide if I wanted to try it. I ended up getting a Nexgen French manicure and couldn't be more pleased. The techs are very professional and meticulous, and they didn't chat at length with each other which I appreciated, because I'm always paranoid that they're talking about me lol. read more
