I took my dog here for ~2 years, and each time, the cuts were very good. Unfortunately, on 1 visit last August, my dog returned home and had razor burns and cuts all over his underbody. While we were informed of the cut they did to his penile area, as you can see from the photos, it was all over his body. Clearly no care was given to the dog and the place just kept on cutting. This was very upsetting. When I asked the team for a refund or an apology, none was provided. I took the dog to the Vet where he received antibiotics so that the cuts did not spread for an infection. A simple apology and maybe some form of discount would have been nice, especially since we had been going there for years, but none was offered. Very upsetting way to do business and I would just be careful if you send a dog here.

This however became very costly and found that after pick up, I was going over spots that were missed/uneven. I took matters into my own hands and purchased all tools needed to groom my dog at home. This helped with the upkeep and saved me some money. I found this at home process to be very sufficient as I got better at grooming my dog each time. Because I'm not a professional, the process takes a bit longer for me to complete. I didn't have the time to groom my dog so I decided to give Rub A Dub a try. A little background, I have a small shitzu weighing roughly 10 lbs. I called for a quote and the owner advised a range depending on how my dogs hair was. Rub A Dub had the soonest available date so I scheduled an appt. Dropped my dog off and was advised a specific time to come back for pick up. I come back the time the owner had advised and learned that my dog was not ready. I had to come back in another hour. Now I understand that the owner may have needed more time to complete my dog but a call would have helped. Thankfully I wasn't too far but it was definitely an inconvenience and frustrating taking into consideration that I was a new customer.. An hour had passed, my dog was ready for pick up. I saw her and there were a few areas I had asked the owner to go over before I paid and left. He proceeded to go over the spots that were missed and rudely said that he couldn't do anymore/spend time as he had another dog on the table.. In addition, when I had dropped my dog off, the owner never mentioned that it was cash only. Thank goodness I read the small sign there was on the glass. It would have been helpful if that was mentioned earlier on when I made the appt. In closing, he had also said there would be a bandana and snacks for my dog included in the full price. This was not supplied either. Overall, the job was done but my dogs haircut was choppy. I was not happy with the whole experience and doubt I will bring my dog back. Sorry.
