I love this store. They have kitchen products that appear to be of good quality, I personally haven't tested them out--but would like to. The selection they offer is desirable, I prefer going here then the traditional American dollar stores. I have bought a couple of things from here, and they are easy to understand, since most of the products are written in Japanese. This store is definitely a "cutie"! Love this place and so happy that it is just a few miles away from my house. No more driving to California just to get my Daiso fix! This place provides the basic essentials that a regular Daiso store offers, such as delicious Japanese snacks, cute knick knacks, beauty essentials, kitchen gadgets, car accessories, stationary, and much much more! Just like the regular Daiso stores mostly everything is $1.50 unless there is a separate price tag marked on the item. Only thing I wish is that the store itself and parking lot was bigger. Other than that, the staff and the Daiso products they offer are superb! I will be a returning customer for sure! read more

I would give Cutie a 4.75-5 stars. Only deductions for being too far away from me. Cutie is like the Daiso stores you can find in other cities. All items are $1.50. There is a decent selection of candies and snacks, good stationary selection. I would recommend it if you need your Daiso fix and not heading to CA anytime soon. read more

I came here the second time mainly focusing on snack and food items. Just the Pocky stick alone I found it cheaper compared to other Asian grocery store. Then my husband discovered that Japanese Udon bowl here! WOW game changer so we bought all the bowl they have on the shelf. This one was hard to find and I used to see them at the old Asiana Market but not the new one... love this place. I wish it was closer to my house. read more

Love this store. Love Japan? Definitely you cannot miss this store! Most items in the store is $1.50. Items are from Daiso. (Japanese $1 store) Good selection of Japanese drinks and snacks, beauty accessaries, kitchen items, stationaries, etc. I cannot go to other Asian stores in town any more because Cutie is the cheapest. The store is not big at all. Aisles are wide enough to push strollers though. I'm glad that I no longer have to drive all the way to California for Daiso items! read more

UPDATE: June 19th 2022 - What's wrong with the employees? I took my 17 and 28 yr old daughters for the first time to the Cutie store in Phoenix. My first visit to the store was super pleasant!! In 2019. The gal then, Whitney, I think was her name, behind the counter who helped was beyond pleasant!! Omgee, where did she go?! This time when we first walked in the store, I tried to make small talk with the young gal behind the counter - nope, nothing, ugh! I seemed to have bothered her. All of the employees appeared to be busy, silent, buzzing around the store. They seemed to be on a deadline of sorts. NO customer interaction at all! Example: Hey, how are you doing today? Welcome as you walk in!! [Cutie store, plz take notes- this goes a long way!] NOTHING! Last time was over $80 and this last time was over $70 of merchandise. I more than likely won't be back to this store. I will try the other location ONLY for that reason. So unfortunate! Date of experience: June 2022 read more

I had been to the Cutie store in Mesa, which is huge compared to this location, but it had enough to choose from. The person working behind the counter is quite friendly. There were quite a few customers in the store, and since I had gone in with my granddaughter, she did manage to buy a few things. I mean, can't beat the price, that's for sure! read more

What can I say, I'm a big fan of 99c Store, so when we have to visit Japan Daiso stores are an obligatory stop, now that this cute little store opened in Phoenix I'm super excited! They have been open for 3 months now, and they are constantly getting new and variety of merchandise on Thursday's, to stock for the weekend when they are most busy. And They are very friendly and helpful . If you buy $10 or more you get a free tote. Tip: drive slowly when looking for the parking lot access you may pass it, like I did! read more

It's okay but a little small. Everything is $1.50 which is really neat. They only sell Japanese goods though and Japan is awesome but if you are looking for an actual Asian market I would stick to something a little bit bigger and more diverse. They had cute things and snacks not what I was looking for though and unfortunately they are limiting their Sanrio daiso and Disney products to 5 items per household which I didn't mind personally but some people might. I personally live about 30 minutes away from the location so I didn't think the drive was worth what I ended up getting but if you live around the corner it is a perfect convenience store. read more

If you are missing Japan, it's the place to stop. Everything is $1.50! I loved the stationary section, I wanted to buy everything! Huge selection of anything you can think of and we were told it changes every week! The staff was super nice and helpful! It sits back from the road so I missed it. This is like a chain store of Daiso. This is a smaller version of Daiso when you can find some cute Japanese products for a great price. Cute little store located in its own tiny parking lot near a few strip malls. Everything is $1.50 with a few food items at $1.00. Items are from Daiso. I'm so happy to find this store since the closest Daiso is probably located in LA. Bought a bunch of random things including makeup items, baskets to organize my hair and facial products, rain coats, pens, washi tape and Japanese dishes. Although the store is very small, they have a lot of products that I would generally purchase at a dollar store. Make sure to stop by and keep them in business! read more

My favorite little Daiso. It's a very small shop and parking is kinda confusing but worth the visit. Everything sold here is such great quality and get this IT'S ONLY 1.50 for each item. I just got my first apartment this year and I came here to get all my household needs. Felt like I brought the entire store honestly but it was all so affordable.
