Ridiculous prices just for a regular haircut for a boy [[HIGHLIGHT]]bad customer service never come back :([[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

One of my students just told me this place ruined her hair and I felt bad because I never left a review. After the pandemic lifted I brought my daughter here who is mixed to get a haircut and style. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owner asked me under her breath and mask if I wanted a silk press on my daughters hair. I thought she said a cut and style[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], She proceeded to cut and press my daughters hair.......she completely damaged my daughter's hair and should've known better to press her hair because she is mixed. I feel she did it purposely out of spite because my daughter has good hair. I wouldn't go here and never recommend it. My poor student is now suffering too! Shame on you! read more

I went to Cutie Pie Salon in Brentwood to schedule a braiding appointment for my daughter. The receptionist was very professional and accommodating. She told me to show the pic to the braider. I walked towards her and said hi. The receptionist told her I was showing a pic of what we wanted done. She didn't make eye contact She didn't introduce herself Didn't even say hi She looked at the pic, looked like she was thinking then said ..hold on a sec She went to the back and never came back out. We waited 5 mins. Receptionist checked and said she was in the bathroom. Cancelled and went elsewhere. How are you a new business and act like that? Delitha has been doing my hair for long time now . 5+ years she is the only one in this area I allow to touch my hair lol . I always go for sew ins , wig installs and silk presses and she executes the style everytime ! Always satisfied and always get lots of compliments when she does my hair . WARNING WARNING WARNING . Please don't let Delitha (the owner of this hair salon) dye your hair... I had the worst experience ever. I went to this lady a week before my birthday for a consultation I showed her a picture of a color I wanted to get my hair dyed. She told me she could make my hair that color. She even pointed out to me on her instagram another lady whose hair she dyed that color.. this lady bleached my hair and put the wrong color dye on my hair.. I wanted a beautiful honey blonde color instead she made my hair high lighter yellow. I told her this not the right color it's too yellow. She said ohhh ok I can fix it. She poured some liquid in my head stuck me under the dryer 20 minutes later got me from under the dryer and it was still the same color Highlighter Yellow .. this lady completely didn't know what she was doing. Yes she's good at flat ironing but she doesn't know how to dye / bleach natural hair at all. Even though she know she f**** up my hair color she still had me pay her for the service. This lady messed up my whole birthday. I was so excited to have my hair colored and she completely gave me a ugly color that I didn't want. ! If she didn't know how to dye hair she should had been honest and said that in the beginning! The first 2 pictures is the color I wanted. The last 2 pictures is yellow hair that I didn't want. I don't know how to fix it but just make my whole head jet black to hide this yellow ‍. So sad read more

So this is the first time I've ever left a comment on Yelp. However, I'm so undone by this experience that I had at the salon that I just have to say something. I showed the hairstylist a picture of how I wanted my haircut, but she decided to become a happy hacker and cut all my hair off. The style I chose is very feminine. The cut she gave me is very masculine. When I expressed my dismay, she says there's not that much hair on the photograph, and her hair was red. What does red hair have to do with anything?!! And she tells me to just wear some earrings. I'm so upset. I know other persons who have gone to this salon and been satisfied. So, how I ended up with such a bad experience, I just don't know. I was excited to have my hair done after over a year of not being able to have it done. When I got there, the vibe was just off. The person I was waiting for seemed annoyed that I was even there. She snapped at me from across the room "Do you have an appointment Ma'am?" When I said yes, it seemed to make her even more angry. When she took me to wash my hair, she made no effort to build rapport or have any conversation what so ever. She put me under the dryer and finished her other client. When she came to get me, I showed her a picture of the cut I wanted and that was all that we spoke! I tried to joke with her and start a conversation and she quickly shut me down. There was no conversation while she was cutting me hair, at no point in time did she even ask or let me know how much she was cutting.....she just went to chopping! She prob took about 6 inches off and that is NOT what I wanted!!! Normally, there's a conversation that goes on. "I'll do this here and this there....", but NO! Nothing. When she handed me the mirror, I was just in shock. I didn't even know what to say. She completely rushed thru doing my hair as I was out in about an hour! There was no care. No concern. She had no desire to gain me as a regular customer. She just wanted me gone. I sat in my car for a few mins and tried to gather myself before I drove home. I absolutely HATE my hair! It's not what I wanted and she didn't even care enough to speak to me while she was doing it to make sure it's what I wanted. I'm so sad and disappointed. read more

Loved it and loved it so much I sent my daughter for her braids. WAYYYY more reasonable than the forein braiding shops. WONDERFUL setting FRIENDLY staff! PROFESSIONAL AND HOSPITABLE! I loved it there!!!! Can't wait to go back but of course my hair is still lookin GOOD so I have a while before I can go back. I absolutely enjoyed Deletha the owner and her stylist who later did my childs hair. I Also found the receptionist to be super nice and a joy. Even the other clients there were so pleasant and sweet. I wish I had been coming here sooner and more often. Having my hair looking good has made my day so much more care free and full of compliments! I found her products to be AMAZING she put the shampoo on my hair which was pretty grimy from product build up and boom squeaky clean and smelling so good. This place is a nice and cute salon but it didn't fully work out for me for many reasons one being them trying to overcharge me and two a chunk of my hair gone due to intense threading between my hair and the bundle. I scheduled an appointment and then followed up with how much would it cost for a particular style they responded with 95 but when getting my hair done I asked the cost once again they said either 105 or 110 despite them saying 95 initially. But when my mom came in then they switched back and charged me 95 plus deducted 25 from the deposit since I arrived to the appointment. I've never been tender headed ever in my life but when I got home first I thought oh my head is sore because of braiding which is normal but as it continued even 4-5 days later I was very concerned I had my mother in law take a picture of my scalp and it was extremely red and swelling also bleeding but it was more in the middle and not visible in the picture. The sample products that they gave me were not the best at all. The shampoo was alright did it's job but was not spectacular, the conditioners and deep conditioners did not make my hair soft but in fact made it brittle and dry. The oil was really good thou. It's sad I really liked the style and how it looked but it stressed my hair and scalp so much I had to take it down and when doing so I discovered that the woman who did my hair knotted and put so much threads into my hair the braids that she did she made it into one big braid then knotted it and sewed it in just too much going on and really stressed out my hair. WORST salon ever. I had the WORST experience here. The stylist made me a appointment at 3:00 , the stylist was 15 minutes late to her own salon. When i got to the salon she was not showing any good customer service she stopped in the middle of doing my hair to do someone else's and put me out of her chair smh. What i asked for was not at all what I wanted ( I will post pictures ) I asked her for a refund and she told me she could only refund me HALF. When I went to get my refund she told me she would be there UNTIL 4 , I went at 2:20 she was not there SMH. When she finally got out there she made my brother stand outside for at least 5-10 minutes. I don't recommend anyone in Antioch/Brentwood/Pittsburgh to go to this salon. You will not be pleased. read more
