We took two of our dogs in for grooming and haircut today. Met Pam the owner and she was very knowledgeable about dogs and made suggests regarding the grooming of our dogs. She show us the sample of different lengths that we could have there hair cut. Within a couple of hours she called us to come pick them up. She did an excellent job on both of our dogs. Dog owners beware! The owner of this place is only interested in dogs that are easy to work with and at the sight of any dog that may give resistance she becomes very rude and unprofessional. I have bringing my dogs for several months and from time to time she would make rude comments on  the behavior of one of them saying that he needs to be fixed so he won't be so hard to work with.  Mind you he is a yorkie that weighs 5 pounds and you can't handle him! So recently we got another dog, a Labradoodle mix.  He is one of the sweetest dogs on this green earth! So the groomer called to say he was done. I showed up and the groomer was on the floor with the dog with a pair of scissors trying to fix the botched job that she did.  She said the dog scratched her and bit someone else and that she could not finish him. She however charged me the full price and told me to bring him back in a couple of days so she could finish. My wife contacted the owner and she was told she hopes she has been brushing him like she instructed her to do because the second the dog gives her a problem she is done.  The entire conversation was very unprofessional and it almost sounded as if she was trying to keep us for coming. We decided it was in the best interest of our dog not to return so we asked for our money back since the job was not completed. We were told that there are no refunds and that we signed a disclaimer and threw in our faces that the dog had bit somebody.  As far as I am concerned that is part of being a professional groomer and knowing how work with animals so this does not occur. I took my dog to the vet and told her what happeded and the vet was shocked not becuase of what happened but that the groomer did not ask for any vaccine records.  The vet told me that the groomer did not know how to handle the dog and let the dog control the situation. So here is my review if your dog sits like a statue and does not move around when being groomed and you don't mind being talked down to.....this is the place for you! I took my dog to PETCO and for 15 dollars they fixed what edward scissors hands was incapable of doing.  The groomer at PETCO told me, my dog is wonderful he sat very well and allowed her to do her job and that the previous groomer sounded inexperienced and did not know how to work with dogs. read more

So after having tried a couple of groomers, I am so happy to have taken my friends advice and try out Cutie Pie's Grooming. Was able to make an appointment without having to wait very long, which was great because I was just so stressed about trying a new groomers, and my Dog 's hair had grown out WAY to much. The facility was clean and bright, with great water colors of all breeds of dogs. I could tell after my conversation with Pam that she loved dogs, and that it was looking like this was going to be our forever home for grooming. In about an hour and a half I got a call he was done! I am a new puppy owner and this was my first time at a groomer. I have a small 4 month old mixed puppy and this process was very easy and my Lana was so happy when we picked her up. My dog had been constipated and had an enema the night before and got kinda messy in the rear and he needed a bath anyways. I called petsmart, my go to, but they were booked so I remembered seeing all the rave reviews and adorable pictures from the About Redlands Facebook page in reference to Cutie Pie's Grooming once so I thought I'd give them a call. I knew it was a long shot being Monday morning and potentially booked but the groomer agreed to see my dog and for that I am extremely grateful and had high hopes for this place! I thought to myself, 'Wow how awesome are they? Is this going to be my dogs new groomer if Petsmart isn't free?' I dropped him off and offered up his vets info to collect vaccine info, but the groomer was in a rush and told me she'd call me when she was done. I went ahead and ran some errands and got a call to pick up him an hour or two later but was in the middle of finishing an errand. 30 minutes later I got another call (I was already on my way from finishing my errands) that my dog had a spurt of diarrhea and they didn't have time for all that. Excuse me? I was pretty offended by that. When I picked my dog up he wasn't in a kennel (totally understandable just in case he had another accident), but when I was cashing out again the groomer mentioned how she didn't have 'time' for accidents. Since I have a short haired 20 pound dog (beagle mix) I always tip 100% or sometimes more if the service was awesome since all I ever do is a bath that way even though it doesn't take the groomer all that long they still make a bit off the easy bath. Plus, my dog is super annoying and whines pretty much the whole time. Bad dog! But I was pretty upset over the comments made about how my dog was essentially a nuisance so I only tipped a minimal amount. Would I go there again? No, probably not. Which is a shame. I'm a generous tipper, I love my dog and I love those that make my guy feel his best. I will stick to Petsmart which is closer to me anyways. Every time I've gone there the girls always greet me with a smile even if they are bum rushed with pets, and take the time to go over what I want. I did forget I asked for a nail dremmel and that was never performed either. :/ Petsmart will do his ears, dremmel, bath, and I like to dye him different colors or get those silly tattoos they do even though they rub off in a day or two lol. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE Cutie Pie grooming! This was the first time my Goldendoodle has come here and we couldn't be happier! Knowing that we doodle owners can be a bit particular, she took her time to find out my specific wants and asked for photos so that she could get his cut just right. My doodle is 85lbs and full of fluff so it's a big job. I really appreciated that they didn't keep him all day and he was finished in 2 1/2 hours. When I went to pick him up he had the cutest Halloween tie on and he looked and smelled amazing! When I went to take him home he laid on the ground and seemed to want to stay. So impressed! My yorkie can be pretty high stress and frequently gets sick when she goes to the groomer. However, at Cutie Pies she wasn't at all--I was actually shocked at how calm she was. The facility was incredibly clean and welcoming and obviously my dog felt the same way... I liked the fact there were not cages of other dogs, and that it was a calm environment. When I passed my dog off, she was still calm and okay with someone new holding her. I felt comfortable leaving her there and she was done in about 2 hours... when I picked her up they apologized for running behind and having her there that entire time, but I was impressed with not having to leave my dog there half a day. The price is incredibly reasonable, bath, shave, teeth brushed, nails trimmed and gland expression. And the best part is they keep notes on what you do and don't like so next time you can make adjustments to the grooming... I am very pleased and happy to have found Cutie Pies! Thank you! read more

I followed this page on facebook and instantly unfollowed, the way Pam treats her customers is unreal. Rather than trying to meet a happy medium she fights with her customers and has a sassy attitude, she takes it to a completely new extreme. I had to leave this review because reading Pam's responses made me realize how much she only cares about money. I was looking for a new groomer but seeing how Pam handles customers if the customer cancels their appointment made me realize the owner doesn't even care about the animals. My Husband and myself own shih tzu's , by the name of Bella and Teddy we have been going to Cutie Pie's for a while but unfortunately there was a family emergency that we couldn't keep our appointment. I tried to re schedule but they never bothered to call back nor attempt to text me back. This went on for several months, never once did they return my call nor text, I would of appreciated at least a phone call stating their concerns about why they were upset and I could of explained that my mother was in the hospital but still they never had the common curtesy to call me back you would think they wouldn't want to loose paying customers but I guess they don't care. I've adopted another traumatized rescued dog in need of grooming. Past experience taught me the best place to take my dog for his first and all of his grooming experiences would be Cutie Pie's. My high expectations were exceeded! Walter loved being there and wanted to go back. Pam uses the best judgement in introducing and training a dog to be groomed. She starts with a gentle, calm and positive approach. She understands it's not all about doing the maximum amount of grooming on a dog from the start. She knows it's critical to start on a patient and positive note and then build on that. I was trained to groom and did my own dogs. At 69 I'm no longer able to groom. Definitely coming back here. Location is convenient, prices are awesome, and the staff is super friendly!! I brought in my sister's Pomeranian-mix who has a massive amount of hair. They asked how I wanted it cut and I showed them a picture of the previous time he had it done. She even warned me that the hair might not grow back the same so that assures me that they know their stuff. Came back in 2 hours and he was sitting right by the gate looking exactly how my sister wanted him. He even had the cutest little black and red bandana on. Most places don't have cute bandanas so for me that was definitely a plus. He also smelled really fresh. The staff was so nice and welcoming. The decor in the shop was very cute and simple. They had these awesome paintings of dogs framed on one wall. It was very clean and had a good smell. You can call in and set up an appointment which is very convenient. They also have a discount card program where you get 50% off one visit after you bring your pet in for a certain number of visits. Honestly with their prices you're always saving money anyway so that's reason enough to return. Overall my experience was awesome. This review should have been made a while ago but I did not have a Yelp account at that time and I do want people to know what my experience was. They do a great job at grooming. The place is nice and clean. Location is great. However. The older woman that usually is there up front, is rude. If you're going to have someone represent your business, how about be nice and not in a b*itchy mood all the freaking time?? Anyways I got over all of that because they were grooming my dog nicely and the prices were good. However one day I took my dog in and and when I came back to get her, they obviously cut her ear and THEN had the audacity to blame it on me saying that the cut was already there and they happened to peel a scab? No. I would know if my dog was hurt or not and I would have informed them about it. I would have continued to take her back if they would have just been honest with me. After that moment, I suddenly did not want to forgive the bad attitude of that woman. I now take my dog to her daycare place at Coventry Pet Resort. They are much more friendly, ensure your dogs safety, and the prices are pretty much the same, and these people are professionals that can handle dogs, and I trust them because they trained my dog too. read more

We were looking for a good groomer for our pup after we moved to the area. I always worry a little dropping her off places. The lady was fantastic about explaining everything. She asked about potential allergies that our dog or we may have and she explained what our dog was going to experience. She also explained her philosophy about how to treat the animals. She stressed that the establishment revolved around making it a nice experience for the pets. It turned out to be a nice experience for our pup and for us! When I went to pick her up, my dog looked adorable, they did a fantastic job trimming, clipping, and washing her! She also didn't seem to be nervous at all- she even ran over and said bye to the owner before we left. Finding a good groomer is hard to come by, finding a groomer who loves dogs and cats is another thing. When walked into Cutie Pies (which we will refer to as CPG from now on) we were welcomed by the kind staff and asked to check in. Since this was our first time here, we were asked to fill out a typical form that required information on breed, type of cut desired, vaccination record, etc. I would like to note that a vaccination record was not required, just the dates of shots. Right away the staff begun to love our little Riley, I could tell she felt safe. They said it would be about an hour. When we returned, we found Riley looking great, smelling great, and happy.
