I went here for a full set and a pedi! The pedi was nice and I loved the girl! When it was time for my full set I got another girl who also was really nice and looked to know what she was doing.. I got a very simple design and left happy!! The next day I noticed my thumbs were chipping so I called and it was fixed right away by another nail tech. Again was happy and it looked good! Come the 3rd day and one of my thumbs has now chipped again !!!!! The first time they chipped I thought that was on me for not putting my hand in all the way into the UV light but it's now the second chipped in less than a week and I'm not sure what happened. I also got stiletto shaped nails and the same thumb the mail has chipped at the point. First, my nail tech was very kind and did an amazing job cleaning up and filing my nails. In the "clear coat" On my dip, my nails ended up hazy. The owner said sit down I'll do a top coat. Well after that they're uneven, hazy and look like my 5 year old niece did them. I had all ready paid, and still wanted to tip my tech. She was so friendly and really did the best job filing. I think the product was bad. The owner told me to stay, but I didn't have another hour. He told me to come back during the week, and when I told him I didn't have time he kind of mocked me and didn't believe I'm that busy. He also threw his tech under the bus and said she did a bad job. Which really offended me. It was a bad day, and now my nails look awful. I have two marketing events this week and will be out another 50 bucks to go somewhere else. read more

Had a great experience overall! When I called to ask for an appointment the man said yes we have appointments and said to come in 30 min. No problem for me! He was very friendly from beginning to end! My technician was Cindy. I paid $30 for the Classic Pedicure which included a full exfoliating scrub and 2 different types of lotions plus a hot towel. Very relaxing. I was offered a water which is always a nice touch! I asked her to cut straight across and she had no problem doing that (no ingrown toenails). When I asked her if she could do a design after painting she said of course! And asked what I would like. I said flower in white is fine and she did a lovely job as you can see! Worst business I've ever walked into. Never get a manicure done here, let alone acrylics/gel set. The people working here are far from experienced. If I were to take a quick guess the main gentleman up at the front has a year experience and can actually do decent nails. Props to him for actually working with nails ... the others need to FIND A NEW PROFESSION. This profession clearly is not for them, because they all sucked so badly. My toddler could put better acrylics on for me than she did. They seem to be running test subjects , because these people don't even seem to have a month of experience under their belt. The young lady with long dark hair put my acrylics on facing the ceiling, Instead of straight like my natural nails grow. She fucked up so badly with the acrylic powered that it was lumpy and an inch thick AFTER she shaved it down. My nails looked like they were growing tree trunks out of them. She also said the color choice I wanted was ugly and suggested a different color. If you thought things couldn't get worse she wouldn't even take off the 4 nails she started putting powder on. I came here because i have been here once before and they were decent My bf and I both wanted pedi's and I let him go first because i had an ingrown toe nail. The gal who gave my bf the pedi was also helping out while I waited for the person to show up to do mine. She came in late but that was fine so I could let my feet soak. What was not acceptable was when I asked her to get my ingrown toenail out of one side of my foot and she Preceded to butcher me and then cop an attitude when I told her it hurt. she then started to do my other toe which at that time I thought she was just going to cut the cuticles. whelp...12 hours later, I take my shoes off and both my toes are red as Hell! I have had plenty of pedi's in my life and never encountered someone who did not listen to what the customer asked them to do. Best t believe I will be reporting her to the Health departmen and his help her If one of my toes get infected because of her negligence. read more

The nail tech that I had was terrible. I get regular no chip manicure's every single time I go to the nail shop. This time I tried a new shop (this one). I was assigned a tech that did not know how to remove gel nail polish, which I think every nail tech should know how to do if they are really professional. This nail tech then continued to tell me that I had dip powder and acrylic on my nails when I have never had either. They kept insisting that I was wrong. And left my nails half done and walked away and said that they could not to do them. I will never ever be back and I think they need to rethink the way that they do business. My normal nail got is no longer in the nail business so I have been trying to find a place around my house, I live in Orland Park, that can do my nails and make sure they are done right. I will hands down be returning to Cutie Nails, I saw their reviews and decided to give them a chance and boy am I glad I did. Cindy did my pedicure, and because I wear heels all day at work I have a small ingrown on my big toes, I don't know what the other tech's have been doing but after Cindy was done, OMG it was instant relief, my toe's felt so much better, and she showed me what she pulled out and it amazes me that I get my nails and toes done every two weeks and not one tech was able to do what she does! I even told Cindy I will be back just because of her and the pedicure service I received. Kevin did my manicure, and bless his heart, he has the patience of very few. I came into to get my fake nails taken off and get a manicure. I know nails don't always look the nicest after having fake nails on for years. But Kevin took the time and took off my nails the correct way, and not just using a nail and popping them off. For how short and damaged my nails were, they look amazing. I will no longer be going anywhere else other than this place. I've been coming here since I bought my home in Orland last year. I've bought friends, my mother and many customers. Today is the second time they insulted my loyalty as a customer for the sake of a white customer. I had an appointment for two today at 2pm. I called at 2:08pm saying I was in route (lunch ran late) and asked if I could add another friend with me who wanted a manicure, Kevin said it was ok. We all (3 of us) arrived at 2:15pm. So he wrapped my nails and took my call in manicure. A white woman came in at 3:10pm screaming about how she had an appointment for her and her husband (who was late) and I didn't understand why she was yelling. She went as far as to say "I have to wait for her" as she put her hands on me. Her privilege allowed her to yell and pressure Kevin to take her first. I said well I was the 2pm so (like lady you have to wait). Do you know Kevin, the owner, took my polish off and told me he was going to take her because I was late (she and her husband was late as well). I said Kevin I called you and you were ok with me being late, are you kidding me? I walked out. I've been coming here, like previously mentioned for about 18months and brought several customers to this place. I'm beyond pissed. It's clear to see that my loyalty and business isn't appreciated. Very racist, they have a tendency to take better care of their white customers. They treat black people very poorly. Have a tendency to say "it's a long wait" instead of saying they don't want to service you. The only person in there that is respectable is the nail tech Rae! This place is awesome!!! Technicians do a thorough job and take pride in there work. The environment is peaceful and inviting. Everything is clean and tools are sterile. All the staff is attentive and aim to please the customer. I especially like the time spend shaping my nails because I have large hands with wide nail beds so it's nice to have my nail tips shaped a little more narrow. I live about a half hour away from this nail salon but I'll gladly take the drive for there excellent service. I love my nails and had a great experience at Cutie Nails! read more

The friendliest lady named Cindy did my nails and my daughter's, and she was the kindest person ever! She smiled and laughed, made pleasant conversation, adjusted my massage chair and encouraged me to relax, and offered me bottles of water. The prices were very reasonable! 30 for a great pedicure! This place is very cute. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it was a little bright in there and the music was lively, and I prefer it a little more quiet and chill.
