Long overdue review. I have been coming here for years. I will only have Ken do both mani and pedi. He's awesome! Always aware, careful, kind and meticulous. I was a bit surprised seeing the rating Trend Nails received and it could be the person they had or some other experience. But overall I have always experienced a great amount of care. They are super clean with the tools, cleaning the foot baths and love the fact they don't reuse the pumice, stone or sponge. I do not like when places use the scrapper on have had issues in the past. It's why I'll never go anywhere else. read more

No I didn't have an appointment for the spa. They were not busy at all. So I went and asked If we could get two pedicure done. It was 3:35pm. She still accepted us to come in. We picked our colors. Next thing someone else walks in at 3:40pm. They had an appt for 4 pm. She still took them in but asked us to wait and said it will be a little wait. Poor customer service. Updated 7/2017. As per my first part of this review Ken did an awesome job on my nails. I went back and he did great again. Now after making numerous attempts to getting Ken I haven't been very lucky. He's in high demand and I can't ever walk in and get Ken or even get a walk in appointment with anyone there. This place is always busy. Which is a good sign. Ken was very friendly and did a awesome job. He cleaned up my nails/cuticles really nice. I think he did a great job on my no chip manicure. I will definitely go back. The nail salon was clean and the tools were sanitized. The price was average for around this area. $35 for a no chip manicure. read more

I had an 11:30 appointment on Saturday for a fill in and to get one nail fixed. I was finally taken much closer to 12. Then the guy doing my nails kept telling me I needed a new set, the one I had was old. I told him I had gotten a fresh set 2 weeks prior at another salon. Then he proceeded to tell me that they must have done a bad job then but I politely declined and just wanted to stick with a fill in. He did the fill in and then had to fix this middle finger, when I left I noticed it was awkwardly flat on top but I ignored it because I didn't have the time to go back. It's Monday and this nail has now broken straight down the middle. The only one doing a bad job is him! I've finally found MY nail salon. For a whole year I have been trying out local places without finding the best one. Trend nails is great & the owner was there to make sure everything was going well. He talked me through a no chip manicure after I told him about the last place I went for one. Apparently they we're doing it wrong. Now I only have them 4 stars because the no- chip peeled (my cuticles weren't pushed back far enough & the drying agent wasn't put on all of the nail). The first time I went here was quite a while ago and I had a really good experience, so I finally had some free time and decided to get my nails done this past weekend. Sadly my experience was not a good one. The guy doing My Nails was nice, however, he repeatedly burned my skin with his tools which left marks and scabs. (Pics attached) besides that, my nails themselves look terrible. They look bumpy, uneven and some parts are shiny and others are matte. I don't know if there was something wrong with the dip powder or the top coat, but I'm really disappointed. And my fingers are sore. Really wanted this place to be my go-to since it is close to home but I'm super disappointed, especially when it cost $40+ to get them done. It's a rare treat I give myself so it was definitely disappointing. :( read more

Terrible! don't even deserve a star for the expensive fix they had to do. I have heard so many good things about this place, so I was surprised. I wanted to try a place so I went here, a little more expensive than usual so I was expecting more quality. After 3 days of spending a good amount on gel no chip nails, my nails chipped. The guy said it was "the paint" but if he knew it was bad why didn't he tell me in the first place. So then he tells me to pick a new paint (i even asked the lady if there was any i should avoid) so i did on a whole new pallete, different color scheme & picked a new one. And he starts painting to tell me that the second color I chose is bad as well. Is there any that are good? so mad, terrible experience NEVER going back!!!!!! read more

I went to Trend to get nails done for a wedding. I had an appointment and arrived thirty minutes before. I was greeted and waited a bit because I was early. When I was taken back for pedicure the girl was good but slow, taking over and hour from start to finish. Then I sat and dried my toes at the station for 15-20 minutes waiting for someone to do my no chip manicure. They guy who did my no chip was constantly being interrupted by phone calls because the receptionist left. It took forever to get my nails done. All in all I was there about 2.5 hrs. My pedicure dried for about 1.5 hrs and I went about my day. My sister noticed that all my toes were snugged and missing polish. I returned to the salon and asked for a refund and polish change. The owner was so rude about this and told me it was my fault because I smudged them. He got a girl to "fix" them and applied the wrong shade, tried to just paint over the already existing smudged nail polish, and then acted like they did me a favor. I asked again for a refund because they wasted my time and my pedicure was subpar. The owner raised his voice at me and told me I wasted his time and resources and if I didn't like it I should get out. I have never felt so insulted in my life. Horrible customer service there are so many nail salons in the area. I will never go back. read more

This is a wonderful salon!! The salon I went to for over fifteen years changed owners, I looked for a replacement salon for quite a while. They were either dirty or the service was poor. I found Trend Nails and Spa right after they opened and I have been a regular customer ever since. Geez, I don't know where to begin! I had a wonderful experience at this salon this past Sunday. This was my first time at this nail salon and I could not be any happier!!! The actual salon is very beautiful, clean, modern and well decorated. I walked into a beautiful foyer and was instantly greeting by a friendly member of the staff. She helped me pick a color for my no-chip and showed me where the nail colors are for my toes. My nail tech was Ken and he was AMAZING. Super friendly, thorough and dedicated to my perfect mani/pedi. :) I had the paraffin treatment with my pedicure and it was so enjoyable. My feet came out super soft and it was very relaxing.... I love Trend in terms of their customer service and how good they do your nails. I also love the supplies and how they take their time, but every single time I've gotten a regular manicure from here it's chipped within 2-3 days. I got my nails done last Friday (today's Thursday) and it looks like I got them done 2 weeks ago. which is just unacceptable so sadly won't be coming here for regular manicure. maybe next time I'll try a no chip! read more

Based on my previous visit and the great no-chip mani I got there (flawless for 15 days! I only had to get it taken off because of my nail growth), I came back for another one. The owner greeted me and asked if I'd be getting a pedi that day too, and I hesitated and said no thank you. It was a bit awkward, but I let him know that my last one there had not been so great. He asked for a second chance and apologized for not having a good experience last time. The owner did my no-chip (he did my first one too but I didn't know at the time the was the owner), and it's still beautiful. Another man did my pedi and it was perfect. I'm glad I gave Trend another visit and gave the owner feedback that hopefully helps him and future customers :) I'll definitely return! read more

He kept huffing and puffing under his breath although i did not demand anything out of the ordinary. I wanted my nails to be shaped like another ladys nails in the salon so i asked him to look at hers and he simply said "i already know what they look like".
