I went here with my niece for the first time and I just wasn't a fan. I called to check availability which they had. I was looking for a color as I only been in the place for like 30 seconds and the lady was hovering me as I looked. I felt pressured to just choose one as she seemed agitated. Someone else takes my niece right away which I didn't like because we were kind of separated. My nail person went through my nails so effin fast, I sat down and probably was done with my no chip in like less than 20 mins. Everyone else who was there before me were still getting their nails done and I even felt the stares like what the... I just got here. I also got a pedicure and even when I ask for basic I get asked like 3 to 4 times to upgrade. I get asked if my niece wants this flower that flower design which honestly if you say it in front of a kid of course but they are greedy and just want your money but lack the actual customer or experience. Then to add it's 3 of us for the tip is just being greedy but the girl doing my pedicure too barely even scrubbed my feet. It was the worst pedicure I've gotten. lol I am not kidding. I've been here 3 times and my visit with Connie for a mani-pedi was the best visit. It's pretty pricey for the upscale pedi ($55, I think) and a manicure without polish but just buffed was an extra $5 for the buffer (cuz it's single use and you get to keep it.) But she honored my request to focus on my foot rub instead of the usual crazy leg massage one often gets (why all the banging???) and I wanted to marry her, my feet felt so good. She was meticulous with everything, the foot bath & equipment were sterilized, and it's a nice open space. She's my new go-to for a pampering. read more

This is quite possibly the worst nail shop in Illinois! I would give negative stars if I could. The customer service is nonexistent and the work is spotty at best. The lack of nail shops in Homer is the only reason we ever came here in the past, and that's only when good shops were booked. My 12 year old daughter went in for a full acrylic set, refer to my pictures for what she was given. The next day I brought her back to give them an opportunity to redo the atrocious job. The man who originally did the nails was so aggressive and angry he actually shouted at my daughter and I. The nail tech and the manager of the shop defended the work done and questioned my TWELVE year old as if she had done something wrong. It is extremely evident they did a terrible job but nonetheless she needed them off. As she was having them soaked off the nail tech continued to berate my daughter. Please be aware it is NEVER ok to yell and belittle a child, EVER. So in conclusion save your money and your nails and stay away from this establishment. read more

i've been going to vip 3 for a few years now and i love it so much! it's always so clean and they always do a great job on my nails no matter how busy they are! i just got a regular polish manicure on my natural nails and it was only $15! my nail tech didn't have a name tag but he was amazing! he rubbed some lotion on my hands before painting them and, gave me a little hand massage, and wrapped a warm towel around my hands! i was expecting it to be more around $20 considering he did more than just paint my nails but nonetheless i'm so happy with how they turned out! i included some pictures of my manicure with different lighting to show how it came out :) thank you so much for always doing such a great job vip 3 !! read more

Got a no chip manicure and a pedicure there. The tech who did my pedicure was excellent and I could not have asked for better! She was truly amazing. However she had an appointment come in so I was given to someone else for my no chip manicure. Totally fine, no worries there. However, the second tech made 4 of my nail beds bleed while doing my manicure. This was a still is very painful. If you are coming here, just know you could end up with a great experience or a terrible one, and it is truly the luck of the draw. read more

Horrible experience. I never write negative reviews because everyone works hard. However, the way I was treated was reprehensible. I showed the guy a picture of the manicure I wanted and he did nothing of the sort. When I would ask him to please file it down further, etc, he would sigh and roll his eyes at me. This happened several times. It got to the point where I told him I knew I was annoying him, but I really wanted him to do what I asked. I was in no way disrespectful, but he continued to do what he wanted. I quickly paid and said goodbye, and he quickly took my money and said nothing. I will never, ever, ever return. I'm editing this review to add that my nails all cracked and peeled due to how much he buffed them down. I now can not get my nails done for at least a month as I have to now grow them completely and allow them to heal before I get them done again. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE read more

The service at this location is absolutely absurd. I asked for gel & without my full knowledge they put some hard cured UV gel on my nails that literally cannot come off. I was charged $60 for something I didn't ask for AND my cuticles weren't even touched. Horrible service and the staff is even more horrible. Now I have this hard gel stuff stuck on my nails. Just moved From LaGrange to Homer glen and needed a new nail salon. I was doing acrylics for about 30 years. I let my nail grow out during covid and its been 2.5 years for a mani. My fingernails just rip like tissue so I decided to try no chip. I got an appointment right away. No wait when I arrived. THe mani and pedi were very nicely done and both look great. Eelee did my organic green tea pedicure ($50). She did a very good job. Kyle did my acrylic fill in ($35). He was fast, safe and precise. I had a terrible experience here. I got a no-chip nail manicure and I had several problems. The person doing my nails kept trying to sell me the fake, longer nails even though I kept saying I can not have those because I am a nurse at a hospital. Also, when I put my fingers in the nail lamp, my finger nails felt like they were BURNING. I had many no-chip manicures before and have NEVER felt that extreme burning sensation. We both work in healthcare so to get time off is difficult with the times, so of course we were late on getting pedicures.
