For the food I'd say closer to 3.5 stars. The food was good very basic breakfast, it was just expensive. I also dislike when servers ask if you want something with the meal and its additional cost, that should be told right away. We were also informed that they won't be able to salt and pepper the hash browns because they just do a large batch and not everyone wants seasoning... [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little diner place, idk it's was just okay that's why it's 3-3.5 stars.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Amazing on multiple levels!!! Always great service, friendly and knowledable staff and good grubs. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Yeti and trout decor makes for a splendid good time. It feels like home. It's warm. Inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have never had a bad dining experience here no matter the time of day. Breakfast is especially delicious and their burger are great everytime. When driving through Bailey this is a must stop for refreshments and foods. Try it. You'll be so so glad you did.

The Cutthroat Cafe is really good mom and pop breakfast/lunch place. I'd definitely go back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It seems to be run by a family- like maybe Dad was cooking, daughter was waiting. tables and son was bussing, which is super cute[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I had the breakfast burrito and it was delicious. I really appreciate the fact that they offered a cheaper no meat option because even though I like pork green chili, I don't really want anything but potatoes, eggs and cheese in my burrito and I always have to get it no meat for the same price elsewhere. My son had the French toast and link sausage kids meal and said that it was delightful. Definitely a good stopping place in Bailey .

TLDR: I really wanted to like this place, but the food I received didn't come close to resembling the pictures of their famed burgers. I had a super remote hike and planned to eat at Cutthroat Cafe following my hiking excursion. So much so that I planned my meal the night before! Yep, I looked up places in Bailey, scoured menus, and landed on Cutthroat Cafe to feed my post hike belly. It was a beautiful day outside so I opted for the covered patio. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had a band, a husband and wife duo, performing during my meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They were a bit understaffed, but they were hustling. The menu you see online is the same, except the prices are considerably higher from when they updated their website. My super cheeseburger was $14, close to $15. Inflation, I get it, but you still have to deliver. What was presented to me was something you get at your cousins backyard BBQ. The cheese wasn't melted, the patty was overcooked, and the burger was more bun than patty. I hate to say it, but it just wasn't good. Also, it was pretty strange that a child delivered the burger to my table. Didn't say a word, just dropped off the burger. Look, it's probably someone's kid who works/owns the restaurant (at least I hope!) but it just rounded out a fairly weird dining experience. Dining in the mountains is always a gamble. I wish I opted for another spot instead. I mean, look at all the other burger photos on Yelp. The burgers look amazing! Then take a long, hard gander at mine...no resemblance whatsoever. Can't win 'em all, as they say.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little cafe in a beautiful town of Bailey.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The burgers were amazing and full of juicy flavor. The service was amazing with a small town hospitality vibe. I loved their Patty melt. The mozzarella sticks were amazing and the only improvement I would suggest is to have marinara sauce. The breakfast plate was large and just so much to eat.

Stopped in early for breakfast over the weekend and had a pretty good meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small building right off 285 in Bailey with a good sized outdoor seating area under a tent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordered their "reel" deal breakfast item which is basically a deconstructed hash topped with cheese, bacon, sausage, and eggs. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would classify this restaurant as a locals place as the Sheriff was sitting with us starting the day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside seating is very limited with a small bar area, so if the weather isn't great then might want to keep traveling down the road.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Friends from CA visiting and they said they wished they could have a place like this in their town.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cozy cafe that will not disappoint![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small town community hub where you get your money's worth of food and it feels like everyone is a friend.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Strongly suggest stopping in.

Great service and great food. The smothered breakfast burrito was great and the French toast was pretty good. I'd come back here.

Impressive little cafe on the way through Conifer. The menu has a great selection of your favorites for breakfast and lunch. Known for their fresh beef, the Patty Melt was delicious. Be sure and order the nicely battered onion rings and the French fries are crispy too. The chicken tenders are big and juicy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a great place to stop after a day or two in the mountains and enjoy a meal with the locals.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The servers are very helpful and accommodating.

Best home-cooked food. Great restaurant. Friendly staff.

We went for breakfast. I'd say your very typical American breakfast. Yummy but nothing to shake a stick at.

Very good diner food (not greasy/heavy like most), family run outfit, large portions, reasonable prices.

Is this restaurant wheelchair accessible? My husband's mother is now wheelchair bound and we wanted to stop in for a bite and to say hello to the owner again. We haven't been here in a few years and can't remember. Thank you!

There were folks waiting to be seated before, during and after our meal. They greeted us along with everyone else waiting and managed to get us all seated fairly fast. Orders looks amazing as they were brought out and the buzz of happy customers chatting together filled the air. This place is quite the brunch stop and there is lots to look at, as you wait. They have baked goods, cocktails, nick knacks to take away with you, and a very cool red sofa to settle into, if you need to wait for seating. We saw homemade jams, pickled peppers, and freeze dried candies to temp you. Need something quick to take on your hike - they've got you covered here too. We came in with breakfast on our minds and weren't disappointed. Everything was fresh, made to order and plated really well. Zero complaints. Just wish we lived closer!

I met up with a friend and we were immediately seated. Things felt rushed and hectic, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly crowded. They have so many delicious-sounding things on their menu, and we were fortunately just in time for lunch because I was specifically craving their BLTA. SO good!! My second option would have been their Italian Sandwich. My friend didn't enjoy the soup or sandwich he got, which is a bummer. I'd come back again, though. They also sell baked goods, and I was tempted to get some before leaving. Next time! According to other Yelpers, their Grilled Cheese is amazing so I'm adding that to my list of things to try. Parking is never really super challenging in Georgetown (yet) so take advantage and support this local business next time you drive by.
