This tiny community of Silver Plume is so mesmerizing. From the historic mining legend/legacy to some chilling ghost stories, what this little town can boast about is so much more than its size. And to add to its unique beauty and charm, this provision stop is simply more than a mere everyday store. Supported by the town's residents and occasional visitors from the nearby communities, or people who are simply passing through on I-70, this place offers quality service to meticulously well-prepared soups, salads and sandwiches. Not only that, it's a souvenir shop and an antique shop. In a way, it's an everything shop!! The gentleman upfront greeted me with the most welcoming gesture and smile. While I was waiting for my turn, I thoroughly studied the menu so without a delay, I told him I would want the curried chicken salad (not the sub so without the bread). I then inquired about the several different types of insanely delicious-looking cookies displayed upfront in a round glass container. He this said, "Well, then let's talk about them!!" and immediately proceeded to lift the glass top to explain which one was which one by one. Since I like anything coffee, I went with the espresso cookie. The shop had a good number of guests at the time of my visit so my food took a bit longer and yet as the gentleman upfront told me that it would, this was anticipated. I had the whole afternoon so waiting was no problem. In 15 minutes or so, when my curried chicken salad was finally ready, he walked up to me with everything I ordered. He then said he had a little surprise gift for me. "Here is a complimentary little Valentine's Day gift for you!!" Awwww, what a nice gesture! To receive such love from a stranger was something I hadn't anticipated. This brightened my heart. Neighborly love was in the air for sure!!! Once I got to my car, I immediately opened the little gift. It was a chocolate-covered strawberry!! And in the white container, there was my curried chicken salad (two scoops of it). The portion seemed a bit small at the first glance and yet this was without the bread so this made sense. But what was most important was the quality of it. The curried chicken salad was impeccably delicious. Not overly done where the amount of curry and other ingredients were perfectly balanced with harmony. Not that I have had curried chicken salad many times in the past but this was by far the most satisfying curried chicken I've ever had. To go along with the rave about the salad, the espresso cookie was equally satisfying and impressive. The perfect amount of coffee taste along with the perfect amount of sweetness, the cookie was also flawless in every single aspect. The town of Silver Plume is so lucky to have this shop. Now I've got a question for you, Silver Plume Provisions, do you have any plans to open another location? If that ever happens, then please consider the Denver Tech Center (LOL!!) read more

Excellent warm sandwich (spicy beef) on a cold rainy day. Really nice staff. Made sure everything was tasting okay several times (I'm just a slow eater). This is in a cool, old mining town building on "Main Street". Rustic doesn't even begin to define it. Left full and happy to support a small business. read more

There is nothing not to love about this place. An old historic building that's been in the same family for generations and is now utilized as a humble mercantile and provisions outlet. The owners couldn't be more welcoming or generous. We popped in here after coffee across the street. The high ceilings, large windows, and wooden floors are the perfect setting for a comfortable squat. Great selection of various Colorado purveyors. Noticed Red Camper, Denver Chip Co, and YoColorado right off the bat. The menu is small and rotating with mostly sandwiches, a soup of the day, and some baked treats. They do serve wine and beer too! We ordered breakfast sandwiches and they were so yummy. The soft ciabatta roll was clutch. I could've eaten another probably, but for the price it was a home run. I bet a lot of people miss Silver Plume and go straight to Georgetown. Don't miss this historic little road off the beaten path. Hi all! Lexi, my parents & I stopped in here for a quick bite before our Georgetown train ride! We were greeted with warm smiles and conversation. The food was just what we needed! My Dad & I got the spicy beef sandwich which had the perfect amount of the horseradish mayo on it. Lexi had the Italian sandwich which you can't go wrong with. Not only was the food great so was the service and ambiance. We were in a bit of a hurry driving thru and called ahead and our order was ready when we arrived. Definitely recommend this little gem to anyone if driving from Breckenridge to Denver or are in the area. read more

I have been highly anticipating the opening of this spot! If you are stuck in I-70 traffic or just heading up to the mountains and want a bite, this is a great spot to stop. I absolutely love silver plume, such a cute little historical town - heads up it's not paved. They have a rotating menu, as well as grab and go items. The owners are some of the nicest folks I've ever met. We got to hear about the history of this beautiful location. The food was delicious! The savory roll is out of this world and made fresh. My only piece of feedback is I'd love a toasted option for the sandos. The cookies were a perfect finish to a delicious meal after being in the mountains all day! Silver Plume Provisions has been open about a month now and wow, it is worth the visit!! It is located right down the street from another iconic spot, Plume Coffee Bar. Silver Plume Provisions is situated in this old but very well maintained (and beautiful) building and they serve everything from sandwiches, breakfast, soup, and treats like cookies. We got the italian and ham & swiss sandwiches and they were phenomenal. They also had a few different areas with grab and go drinks, snacks, and merch for those going to the mountains or driving back into the city. Great views looking outside as well while eating. We chatted with the owners (Brooke and Miles) for awhile and they were super nice and very friendly. Brooke even let us try the butter toffee cookie and I'll forsure order one or three next time we go back. They are currently open on Saturdays and Sundays until 5pm but are planning on opening up on Fridays starting next year. Definitely go check this place out and support local, they are doing some amazing things!! read more

Everything about this place was amazing! We stopped here on our roadtrip from California to Chicago and do not regret it. Definitely the best service we've ever received. They were so accommodating, let us bring our dog on the patio and checked up on us. The sandwiches were sooo good and fresh! I have been to Silver Plume Provisions 2 times and ordered off the menu. The food was delicious and the service amazing. The seating is comfortable with a nice view of historic mining sites. It is absolutely worth the stop for anyone going up or down the hill. We drove up from Evergreen. Access is easy right off the WB off ramp with plenty of parking. They have a lot of cool merch. A husband and wife couple that bought the place in November 2024. Cozy ambiance with charming antique memorabilia throughout. Large sofas and coffee tables scattered about. We stopped in Silverplume Co to visit the museum after a hike up Loveland Pass. The museum was closed so we wandered the town and stumbled upon Silverplume Provisions. They had a pastrami sandwich that made my mouth sing with delight. We ate outside in their wonderful patio! I highly recommend it. read more
