These guys are amazing! We had CV BBQ cater our wedding in Palm Springs on 01/06/2018. Our ceremony and reception were held at a vacation rental, and CV BBQ worked super well with the set-up we had! We only had a few months to plan our wedding, due to the availability of the venue we chose, and we decided to go with CV BBQ based solely on reading so many great reviews of them online. I was a little worried that we didn't have time to try the food before the wedding, but hoped for the best. The night before our wedding, my now husband's parents had a fancy dinner for us at hotel restaurant in Palm Springs, and after that meal, I was worried about "just having BBQ" for the wedding. That said, we could not have been more pleased with CV BBQ! The food was amazing, and the caterers were very professional. We went with a buffet-style dinner, and everyone complimented how delicious everything was. Our guests loved it! We had approximately 50 guests, and around of them were 10 vegetarians, and there were plenty of delicious vegetarian options available. My plate was full before I hit the meat, and I filled up on the veggie options, but was urged to make room for the tri-tip, pulled pork, and chicken we had also ordered! (which were all incredible). Many of our friends commented on how impressive the grill was, as they caught a glimpse of the prep when arriving to the venue. When dinner was over, CV BBQ packed up all the leftovers and put them in the fridge for us, and later into the party, we had a number of guests digging into the leftovers. The day after the wedding, we had our family over to the house for the day, and dinner turned into us having more leftovers! Sean was very responsive when we had any questions leading up to the wedding, and the staff did an amazing job the day of the wedding. CV BBQ was one of the highlights at our Palm Springs wedding. The food (we got tri trip, grilled chicken, kale caesar, mushrooms, grilled vegetables, garlic bread, mashed potatoes, and mac and cheese) was excellent and everyone raved about it. Multiple people said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. When the party started to wind down, people took the leftovers out of the fridge to keep eating. The food smelled divine when it was grilling, and the fact that a lot of it is cooked fresh on-site really makes this more special than your average buffet-style caterer. Their setup for serving the food looks very nice. They also provided passed appetizers at our cocktail hour, which everyone loved as well. It was also a pleasure to work with Sean to plan our menu and coordinate our day. He was so friendly and professional, and his staff were excellent on our wedding day. Great food! We ordered the ribs, tri-tip, and linguica sandwiches when we were out at Village Fest and were not disappointed. Our kids absolutely loved their tri-tip sandwich. You don't even need to fill it up with sauce. IT is amazing with or without the sauces that they offer. We are not big fans of tri-tip but theirs again is amazing. Theeee BEST in Palm Springs. CV BBQ catered our small wedding of 40 guests this week. The food was fantastic! We ordered boneless grilled chicken, tri tip beef, green beans, garlic mashed potatoes and caesar salad. The meat was so juicy and tender, and the two different sauces that came with the beef were a hit. The mashed potatoes were so smooth, creamy and flavourful. A coworker recommended this place but with their limited business hours I was not sure how and when when I would get there. Well I was able to stop by yesterday for takeout. I got my husband the 3 meat combo with tri-tip, chicken, sausage,potato salad and coleslaw. I got the 2 meat combo with tri-tip, pulled pork, potato salad and mac-n-cheese. Both came with garlic bread. I have to say this is the best place we have tried since moving to this area a year ago. Unfortunately they only prepare baby back ribs on Friday. Cooked over red oak in an open flame leaving the meat soft and juicy, my mouth is watering just thinking of it. Make sure you add a little of their BBQ sauce which is phenomenal as well. If you're not into red meat try their chicken sandwich or steamed veggies which are also amazing. This is my first review because honestly I am generally a little lazy about writing up reviews - BUT I have to say Sean's OUTSTANDING customer service and delicious food deserves a huge mention. Our wedding is May 2015 and I wanted to lock down a date but of course wanted to try to the food - though I was pretty confident given CV BBQ's 5 star rating. My future mother in law and I went to Palm Springs on Thursday in order to attend a public tasting taking place at the art festival (?). We drove in from LA and immediately took a nap at the hotel so we didn't know that a huge sand storm had hit Palm Springs during our siesta so when we got up we uber-ed over to the tasting only to discover the entire festival had be cancelled due to the sand storm. I was SO disappointed as I had taken time off work and driven from LA specifically for this tasting. As luck would have it my phone had died on the way over to the festival and I didn't have any access to call or email Sean. After dinner I got back to the hotel, charged my phone and discovered that Sean at emailed me warning me that the event had been cancelled but to call him to try to work something out before we head back to LA. I called him the next day and he was incredibly apologetic even though the cancellation was entirely out of his hands. He offered to do a private tasting at his residence or even offered to bbq all the meats I had initially ordered for my wedding and bring it over to a convenient location! We ended up going to his home and he was outside grilling for our very own private tasting! This was SO nice of him, as bbq-ing small batches of meat is not really cost effective and time consuming. He had plates, flatware, and chilled water setup for us inside and was so patient about explaining his process and all the variety of meats an veggies they offer. He even packed up a LARGE foil platter full of meat for us to take home with us. Sean is so passionate about his product and really values his customers. To begin, Sean could not have been more friendly or helpful in the lead-up to our wedding weekend. Our guests were thrilled, and so were we.
