There wasn't a single detail that was not handled by them. I wasn't even sure what I wanted, but Bryan gave thoughtful suggestions and came up with the perfect menu for our event. On the day of the party, Bryan and his team showed up early to look at the space and decide where to set up. The team was back a couple hours before party time and by the time my guests arrived everything was ready to go. The presentation was gorgeous and the food was exceptional!! I can't speak highly enough of Bryan and his team. They are wonderful. We got married at the Frank Sinatra Estate in October, and Bryan provided catering, our cake, lighting, tables and service wear for my 100 person wedding. In addition we had him do our mexican themed welcome dinner and after wedding brunch, since he was making our life so easy with the wedding. We didn't have to worry about one thing that he was in charge of. For all you brides and grooms, that is extremely important. Our experience with Bryan was so seamless, he offers old fashion values and you know you can trust he will give 110% in everything he does because he values you, his reputation and his product! In regards to the feedback below that he doesn't play well with other, thats completely wrong - he was a pleasure and a key organizer for my wedding. One thing to note, if the bride and groom in that wedding didn't allocate food for the vendors, thats not the caterers issue, its poor planning on the part of the bride and groom. Food isn't' free and you can't expect the vendor to pay for food for your other vendors, (not sure if thats what happened - but could be an reason) TIP- make sure you calculate feeding your vendors and discuss it with the caterer. To this day, we still get compliments on our food and the catering. I even have to say i was pleasantly surprised by how great the food tasted when we did our food tasting - i expected good food, but it was quality and bursting with flavor! We wanted to do something engaging, not a sit down dinner and not the typical buffet. So he suggested stations with different types of food. He provided butlers for each and servers and bartenders to ensure we had a perfect wedding day. It was perfect! LOVED using Bryan and his team for both my 11/5 wedding welcome party and 11/6 wedding at Legacy Villas! I highly suggest anyone in the desert cities looking for event catering to use Bryan. First, he is a great business man. He helped us navigate multiple wedding dates (COVID impact), great communication, clear and simple contracts to understand, and is a man of his word. His standard of quality is very high when it comes to delivering which I greatly appreciate. He also managed the event rentals / set up which was a huge help. Attention to detail is great and not a single thing was forgotten or overlooked. Second, the food is AMAZING. I can't say that enough. The first night we had a Mexican buffet and the guests could not stop raving about the churros. The second night for our wedding we did prime tri tip with burgundy reduction, Napa stuffed chicken, Coachella greens salad, mashed potatoes, frilled fall vegetables, and dessert display. We had numerous guests say this was the best wedding food they'd ever had and people who don't normally eat dessert went WILD at the dessert bar. I was blown away when I took my first bites at how great everything was. I was sad when it was over! Was a spectacular meal and the ingredients (meats, vegetables, etc) are very high quality. Third, the staff is exceptional. We had the same staff for both our welcome party and the wedding night which was really fun as our guests got to know them. They are 5 star and went above and beyond to tend to our every need. I've been to fine dining restaurants and his team was on par with that when it came to taking care of the bride/groom in particular, as well as our guests. Great bartending, smooth service, and strong attention to detail. Fourth, his presentation of food is beautiful. They use towers, tropical greens/flowers, artful fruit arrangements, bread sculptures, lovely serving buffets, etc to really elevate the experience. This is what originally caught my eye and made me contact Bryan - I don't think there is a single caterer in the area with presentation close to this. The barbequed chicken was moist and tasty, the pulled pork sandwiches on Hawaiian rolls were the hit of the party, all perfectly paired with homemade cornbread and honey butter, mac & cheese, baked beans with bacon, vegetable skewers with an amazing sweet yet tart dipping sauce, the fresh fruit display was an art piece and included grilled watermelon wedges, so perfect for a warm day. I cannot thank Bryan Tuggle and the rest of the team at The Butler Did It enough for all they did for our wedding. Communication leading up to/planning our wedding was easy and smooth. Bryan was so accommodating on numerous details to make sure we got what we wanted for the big day. We had an issue with renting equipment (chairs, tables, utensils, etc.) so we worked with Bryan to rent equipment as well and he got everything exactly right. We also ran into another issue with the bakery that was delivering our cakes. Bryan did us a huge favor and accepted the delivery (a day early than planned, a bakery issue) and he assured us not to worry about anything. He did not have to but he was so kind to help us out, especially a few days before our wedding. As for catering on the day of, our guests couldn't stop raving about the quality and taste of food. We really didn't want a lavish wedding, but a really important thing for us was making sure people were well fed, and that's exactly what we got. Outstanding. Don't look any further, The Butler Did It is the best catering service we have ever used. They catered our sons wedding reception March 4, 2023 in LaQuinta for 95 people. They are professional, personable, detail oriented and their food had all of our guests thanking us for such an enjoyable cocktail hour and meal. Our son had requested Beef Tenderloin as one of the meat choices and the chef had it prepared to perfection, rare and tender like we enjoy it. Chef carved it as guests went through the buffet line. The salads were prepared in front of guests by a Chef and we enjoyed the presentation. During cocktail hour Butlers walked around and served guests a variety of Hors D'Oeuvres, chicken and beef satay, chilled shrimp, veggies wrapped in tortillas, and there was a beautiful six foot table with variety of charcuterie items, cheeses, meats, crackers, breads, and fruit. Bryan and his team catered our wedding in early March and it was awesome. He runs a tight ship and every detail was perfect. We opted to do stations of different food and our guests raved about the variety, quantity, and especially the quality. Top notch. We hired Bryan and crew to cater our wedding reception at The Cree Estate in Cathedral City. We are from LA, so familiar with the Palm Springs area, but were living in NYC so we planned our wedding from across the country. From initial quote through communication leading up to the big day, Bryan was extremely responsive and easy to work with over email and phone. He was very flexible and accommodated special menu requests for us. He knew our venue much better than we did and steered our rental equipment order in the right direction, and also gave us some last minute tips on best practices for outdoor catering and reception setup. On the day before the wedding, Bryan sent out his chief of operations (Alan) to help us coordinate the delivery of all the rental equipment and give us a general layout we could follow for setup. We felt that we were in expert hands, and that Bryan and Alan would not only help us pull off an amazing reception, but also that they were looking out and advocating for us with the other local vendors we had hired. Catered a dinner for a group going to the Film Festival. Dinner included: green salad (good), garlic bread (hard and tasteless), sliced roast beef (rare and tough), tiny scoop of mashed potatoes with some sort of white gravy (lumpy potatoes and watery gravy) and to add to the plate, canned peas (need I say more?) desert consisted of a piece of chocolate cake mix cake with one eighth of a sliced strawberry on top. This food was, at best, typical grammar school lunchroom fare. What a disappointment! To be fair, the staff was very nice (they probably did not eat the food nor cook it!) Yuck! read more

We hosted a corporate event at our home in La Quinta, CA this past weekend. We had130 guests for cocktails and hors d' oeuvres. From beginning to end it was first class all the way. "The Butler Did It" crew headed up by Alan, were very efficient. The food presentation was something to be proud of. Many of our guests gushed over how tasty everything was. They left my home the same way they found it when they arrived to prepare for our event. Tables and chairs were picked up the next morning, like everything else, fast and efficiently.
