I smile and say, "It has been broken a couple of times!" Present Day, my first time in an Emergency Room. The smile has wiped away from my face. I know that something is seriously wrong. Dr. Kargoli, MD. Interventional Cardiologist was on call at Banner Baywood Emergency Room. My first impression was this Doctor had such a genuine COMPASSION, WARTH, KINDNESS, combined with CONFIDENCE as he began to explain what was happening. Dr. Kargoli as he explained I began to understand that all of my first impressions didn't include what's most important, KNOWLEDGE. Since that first visit, Dr. Kargoli has continued with my follow up care. CVAM - MESA My personal experience with CVAM -MESA has been EXCEPTIONAL. My appointments are on time, the staff has always been friendly. The location is convenient, plenty of parking, the facility is clean, fully staffed. Just finished my first office visit with Dr Tandon & the staff at CVAM Baywood yesterday. I am seriously quite impressed with him and all the staff. It has been a long time since I have felt this heard and cared for by a Cardiologist Team. Before I left the office I was already scheduled for an Echocardiogram & a PET/CT of my heart. Today I had a call from Jen about the insurance authorization for my Loop Recorder that needs to be inserted, and another call from the RECORA Cardiac Rehabilitation program. Within a mere 24 hours the wheels are all rolling and working to get me what I need. I would 100% recommend Dr Tandon and the CVAM Team to everyone for all your cardiac needs! read more

Check in was self-serve with no assistance for older, less tech savvy patients. Check on/out desk was loaded with staff (on their phones) who passed patients to avoid helping. The "professional" staff is dressed in dirty legging/super tight skinny jeans and tighter shirts you might wear to a kid's soccer game. No instruction forms were offered bc PA staff offered little info. They do not return calls promptly. This is not the office from years ago when Dr Soros was on staff. I've been waiting for months to get a ct scan with hydration. No one seems to care or help. They try, but never follow up. Don't return calls when they say they will. I feel this place is just too big and scheduling is terrible. Which they said they were way backed up. This is people's lives, not a flu shot. I was in my first trimester of pregnancy when I was referred to Dr Panico. I have had A Fib for 11 years and had recently relocated to Gilbert. He described himself as a doctor similar to "House" when it came to searching for answers as to the "why" of my heart defect, which at the time I could appreciate. After wearing a heart monitor for a handful of weeks, I came in for a follow up with his PA who informed me they wanted to do a CT scan to rule out a cardiac amyloid - mind you, she did not tell me what that was, but rather had me google it myself at home. Amyloidosis is a fatal disease, which I naturally panicked over. After calling the office several times, the doctor finally called me back, assuring me that the chances of me having amyloidosis was rare and the CT (with contrast) was safe. Weeks later.. the day of the CAT scan, the hospital called to cancel my appointment stating they would never do a CT scan on a pregnant woman who is not in a life-threatening position due to the safety precautions to my unborn child. Dr Panico called me, annoyed and full of ego, stating he knew people at the hospital and there must be some confusion. Regardless, I ended up switching cardiologist, and when I went to get my records, he did not provide them fully to my new provider. She ended up just running her own tests given she didn't trust the information she was given. This was in 2023 but still leaves me scarred to this day. I could've pursued legal action, but would rather inform the public of this terrible malpractice and leave it at that. read more

Worst run office ever. Dr Amy Daliman was an hour late for 3 minutes of nothing. No apologies, just snarky and disrespectful. If you are a patient of hers, count how many times she says "interesting". Terrible personality trait and a very rude and entitled doctor. read more

Stop! Find yourself a different cardiologist organization. I've struggled multiple times with the lack of professionalism and capability of this staff, with the exception of the actual cardiologist. Should've left a review sooner and should have pulled all of my medical records and found a new office. The level of service is unacceptable. From the fumbling of the business office, screwed up medical orders and prescriptions to the dishonest staff communication; don't waste your time. BAD REPUTATION!!! DON'T GO HERE!!! Serious Insurance mix-ups, sleepy and uncaring staff, miscommunications between office staff, no faxes sent, have to call them everyday to ask them to send a fax, takes 2 weeks! Nightmere communication between staff and doctors. Have to call and nearly explain to the staff how to do their jobs. They don't listen... lazy and not pro-active. "I don't have the number" and then just silence. You have to say, "well, can you get the number?". In a local FB group, I asked for recommendations to a cardiovascular doctor and answers came back "Don't go to CVAM!" This place has the worst reputation. My boyfriend had major open heart surgery there and there were mixups. Would not be surprised if they have a class action lawsuit. I went in for a heart monitor. They had an intern who asked many questions for about 20 minutes. The doctor came in, and the intern didn't tell him very much. So, the quesitons had to be asked all over again. Very disorganized. And then the doctor asked me a personal question that had absolutely nothing to do with my heart condition. read more

Best cardiologist I have ever been to. I had a pacemaker installed and received excellent treatment by Dr. Pinicko.

Please consider a different cardiologist.... Hubby was on a moniter when I noticed a change in his mental status ... he has a pacer and a Medtronic devic to download EKGs to the CVAM so I thought ... the reality is no one was checking that strip .. Ron has had a pacer for over 15 years .... So hubby continues to decline ...I remember (me not them) and reactivate the remote info ..... after 3 falls, a subdural hematoma and 10 weeks in skilled care ..... the pacer is not working correctly and I am still awaiting a date for change ... I hope you consider a different group for you loved one ....Dr Ambrose is not in my experience a safe choice.:: read more

Dr. Amy Daliman, I am shocked and disappointed after today's visit. I have been a true patron of yours and never expected to be brushed off like I did today. It's been 5 years since I first sought your health advice and never have I felt insulted as I did this morning. I travel long distance to see you, undergone heart procedures you have ordered, and take your prescribed medications and never expected to be mocked as I was this morning. I too am a doctor, in a different field of study and would never tell my students I am too busy to share my expertise. I am who I am today because of Gods will and the students I teach. Perhaps you should consider the patients who made you who you are today. This pain I have is harsh and I would never wish it upon you or anyone else. I don't know TJM, but clearly my experience was a complete opposite of his. This was a followup after my Stress Test, which went well. Seth discussed the results with me, as well as a new prescription and a follow up visit. Explanations were clear, all my questions were answered, next step discussed along with some new medication. Everyone I encountered was polite, knew their job and was most helpful. I look forward to working with my team. read more

If you care about your health and well-being at all I would strongly suggest avoiding this clinic at ALL costs! if you like being treated like your time and health are the least important things on earth this is the place for you! I can't even express my complete disappointment with this clinic. Heart health is something that should be rated as critical care. 1 star for some of the office staff in Mesa who are abrupt, rude and seem annoyed to even be working. Gilbert staff seems a little bit better but not what it used to be. When checking out at Mesa, they are the rudest. They talk down to you, they tell you "just wait", don't look you in the eye, very very impatient. I hate going to the Mesa office. Kinda feels like I'm on line to be branded, like "next". They give you a paper and you're off. 10 stars for Dr Ambrosia and Carolyn. Been seeing Dr A for years and he is so kind, patient and listens. If it wasn't for Dr Ambrosia being a great doc and very kind, I would leave the practice as I don't like dealing with the non doctor staff. read more

Dr. Sein is a "DO" - here's the first issue. He's not a real physician or cardiologist, which is likely why he can't do his job. He told me for 3 years my orthostatic hypotension, heart murmur, and several other issues are due to "anxiety", even though he put me on metoprolol (a beta blocker). I finally went to another dr in his practice - a real DR - who gave me excellent care and referrals to other specialists! Whatever you do, don't see a "DO" and think you're getting an actual cardiologist. I won't make that mistake again! read more

John Devine Dr Desai informed that the stress test indicated blockage and reccomended catheder ablation. The procedure showed 95% blockage. Stint has given me that happy heart he promised. I am so thankfull for his skills, and thankful for the time he took to explain every detail. It's rare when a doctor assumes that you are intelligent enough to understand. It's because of Dr. Grossman's rudeness and unprofessionalism that I am leaving CVAM and going elsewhere. During session, he'll just get up, leave the room, and not say a word. I'm sitting there wondering "where'd he go?" "is he coming back or what?" Turns out he's printing a copy of the session and hands it to me when I go out wandering the halls looking for him. AND THEN, when I log on to the portal, all my records pertaining to Dr. Grossman are MISSING. I've been waiting three weeks to hear back from CVAM on this little glitch. It's only the records that relate to the last five or six years that've gone AWOL -- all of Grossman's records. What's going on here? read more
