You force me to use a self checkout. Then I have to wait for someone to help me anyway just to purchase cold medicine. And that person is all the way in the back of the store. I had to go to the back of the store to get them? Then he told me "I will be right there" while he continued to put random items back on the shelf. Will not come back to this location. read more

First of all, five stars to pharmacist Sami. He is so knowledgeable, but also so very kind. It is very apparent that he cares deeply about the patients filling prescriptions. I've experienced his kindness myself, as well as witnessing his interactions with others. Today I visited with my little girl, and we arrived during stocking time. We needed tummy medicine, and the gentleman stocking those shelves asked me immediately if I needed help with anything. He was very friendly and helpful, even though we interrupted his work. The less positive aspect, I have had difficulty finding out their operating hours. As a mom, sometimes I need kid's Tylenol at 8pm. I've arrived before their posted close time to find the doors locked, on multiple occasions. If someone can address this on the door sign, as well as with google, that would be great. read more

COVID-19 phase: Workers are masked. Not a very welcoming worker. I attempted to ask her a question and she rolled her eyes at me and said she didn't know. Whatever! Luckily there are many stores and the rewards program works at all of them. This store was clean and had a lot of different stuff. Thanks to their rewards I had 40% off so I had to get dark chocolate. I bought Dove dark chocolate & peanut butter. Yum! They have all different chocolates and sweets! They have so much more than that too! From any medicines to makeup, etc. Not the best service, but a lot of stuff at the store. Plus there is many CVS stores where there is great customer service! My mom had a very poor experience here just last week- it took 4.5 days to get her prescription filled...getting a different story every time she attempted pickup. I thought I would give it another shot because it is so convenient to where I live. My experience was so much better thanks to Irene! She helped me a few times over the phone while we waited for the doctor to send in the prescription. She was very kind and took the time to look at different receiving sources that they have. She took my name and number down and told me she would call when it came through. It was a time-sensitive prescription, so I was very thankful for her extra efforts! read more

I have been going to this CVS place since we moved here back in June 2018. After going there at least 23 times counting each time I went to pick up Rx or any otc meds we need... I have had the most interactions with Pharmacy and very few times the floor or front employees... Sucheta The Pharmacist is amazing. Her staff pharmacists and tech work ridiculously hard to get every Rx out on time and works diligently hard to make sure everyone is happy... it really shows that people who work there really love what they do regardless how busy they are. We truly appreciate how hard this team works knowing how crazy crazy busy this place is regardless which day or time you go there... Thank you. read more

Over the last 6 months, the pharmacy drive-thru has become horrible. There must be more money to be made in covid swabbing because it backs up the line for at least 30 minutes and those who need their prescriptions end up waiting on average 30-40 minutes just to get to the window! I tried to be patient and not go pick up medication unless I have the time to wait but this is getting old. I even tried going inside instead of drive-thru but it's a wait as well. I'll take my prescriptions somewhere else... 3 times of this is enough for me! read more

Those of us who are parents can sympathize with me that when it comes to our kids and shots, we will go and do whatever we can to make them feel more at ease. Rest assure that when you come here that feeling of ease can start. Sami at the pharmacy went above and beyond to help my toddler get a vaccine! He was superb dealing with my child and helping my child ease into the fear of a shots. He even had groovy stickers as a YAAAY good job. I don't know if you guys give out prizes or raises but he definitely deserves a huge raise! I heard him help the people before me as well as the people after me (since we had to wait the 15-20 min after the vax) and all the questions the people had he answered, he even took the time to walk around the desk and show the couple exactly where the OTC medicine was at. 10 gold stars Sami!!! Do not and I truly mean do not shop or use the pharmacy at the CVS on Demaree and Goshen. Not unless you want to get chewed out by Frank Luna the manager of the store or by a pharmacy tech. I moved back to Visalia after living for 5 years in rural Va. I'm from Visalia living all my life in Ca. I get it ..... we are a very busy fast pace no one pays attention to anyone mind your own business state. I went into a CVS store that's 2 mins from my new house to buy something that has an expired coupon attached to it. I didn't realize it had expired. I don't expect to be yelled at by the store manager Frank Luna because the coupon on the pkg had expired ( I didn't know at the time of buying). According to the "rules" and CVS corrupt office he should have accepted it and kept quiet. But no he has to make a huge issue in front of all the people in line. Needless to say I tucked my tail between my my legs and walked out. Two weeks later (after calling corrupt office who gave me a $5. courtesy coupon ) I decided to take back the 2 items that he made a big issue out of. I handed the gal at the front the 2 items that I wanted to return with receipt and brought a few other things up to the same gal to do an exchange. She calls Frank up to the front. For some reason the young gal felt even though I was buying items way over the amount I was returning, Frank needed to okay it cause I wrote a check. When she said I was returning some items, Frank assumed it was the items I was purchasing and not the 2 items I handed the gal for a return. He once again in true form using his outside voice Frank questioned why I'm returning all these items. I said because I want to. He asked me if I had shopped at his CVS before because he had never seen me before!! Even asked why am I shopping at his store. He was going to deny me the return. Unbelievable questions and behavior that I have never seen from a store manager. I grew up taking my grandmother to CVS to get her scripts and to shop while waiting for the RXs when the place used to be called Longs.... in the early 1970's. Needless to say once the gal explained that I wasn't returning the items I was buying he apologized. Unfortunately it still didn't make up for the rudeness of his behavior. I didn't call corrupt. I figured it didn't make much of a difference since he was still rude from the first call. Last week I took a RX to that CVS pharmacy at the same store. I got a lecture from the tech about the scripts I needed and how some meds don't mix. I said you can see your store has filled this before. I'm sure it's been checked. She start reading off some of my meds and asking me if I'm still taking them. I asked for the pharmacist. She said that the pharmacist was at lunch. First of all the people behind me don't need to know what meds I'm taking and second it's not her job to question me. I called the RX complaint line. I spoke to a pharmacist who called the store to make sure I shouldn't have an issue. He said go back and give them your script. So I did the next day. The gal that gave me a hard time the day before wasn't there. The tech who took the RX started in on me just like the other gal. I was being questioned and told how some drugs don't mix all over again. Can we say ground hogs day??? I left and went to the CVS on Demaree and Caldwell. I had no issues at all. Like I wrote above I have always used CVS. Even in Va. if any pharmacist had a question they would call me first then the Dr. What makes me upset is this CVS is 2 mins from my house. The other is 7-10mins depending on traffic. No big deal but isn't going to the one by your house supposed to be more convenient?? Unbelievable!! read more

Fron the outside this place looks pretty dead. But theyre actually open pretty late. Since I was traveling a long distance in a few days, decided to pick up a few things for the road. Mixed reviews on this CVS. No doubt there is a correlation of satisfaction linked to the quality of the individual's Health Insurance coverage. I agree with other reviewers who have noted the excellent and friendly customer service at both the Pharmacy end the retail section of the store. If I have one beef with CVS it is the ridiculous 25 foot long receipt - what a waste of paper! read more

We needed a Rx that wasn't covered by our insurance. After great customer service by Jazz and the pharmacist on staff, then gave us a coupon to help us pay for it since it wasn't completely covered by insurance. Great people! read more

Worst pharmacy techs. Every time I have gone to this location, they have been extremely rude. Unfortunately I am in my 20s with bad back problems and have a pain medication prescription. They always treat me like an addict and try to "catch" me doing something wrong. Take your medications elsewhere or they will make you feel awful anytime you get a refill. read more

The worst pharmacy I've ever been to. The past 5 times I have gone to pick up my prescription they have not had it. When I got upset about it they said it was MY fault. Every time I've called them to check on my prescription I've either been on hold for several minutes or it says the store isn't opened when it should be. Horrible service. read more
