I was in Westchester and made a pit stop to the local CVS in ardsley to pick up a few things which for me is a few diet Pepsi bottles and snickers . Basic CVS with the typical CVS stuff and pharmacy in the back area .looked well stocked and prices are slightly lower then NYC but not by much . Got my goodies and was on my way .overall the local CVS in ardsley that serves a purpose for the locals and non locals like me. read more

My last experience with the pharmacy at the ArdsleY location was the absolute best example of perfect customer service I've experienced in a very long time. I walked in 5 minutes before closing on a SUNDAY not only did they fill my order which meant start to finish I had to count it out and everything... But I did it with a smile and a pleasant attitude. I felt terrible but they assured me they were happy to help and I know they meant it. Eddie and Claudia from the pharmacy department are great employees and a huge asset to CVS. When I tried to call the pharmacy 3 times with no answer. I went there and was told "if they answered the phone they wouldn't have time to talk to me"I never had a good experience. Always over a half hour line no matter what time you go; system down often; never picks up the phone (been on hold for over 45 minutes on several occasions only to be disconnected); and the staff is pretty rude and disorganized. Every time I go I am trying to be sympathetic but they are just so poorly run and don't care at all. They need to hire more pharmacists if this is a management issue then they definitely need more help. read more

i had a ridiculously unacceptable experience here getting my booster vaccine. without getting too graphic (there was a lot of blood!!), the process of the needle going into my arm caused me to lose consciousness seconds after leaving the vaccine tent. i sat in a chair, took my mask off, dropped all my belongings pretty abruptly, and put my head between my legs. i think it was pretty clear i was in distress and there was.. one other family in the waiting area. the 1-star isn't because i felt faint, as these things can happen, it's because no one offered me any kind of concern or a assistance in a virtually empty room... where these things can happen! also they didn't stamp my vax card, which i recognize i could have reminded them, but i had just fainted, so i was feeling a little forgetful, and considering this is something they do literally... every day... read more

I went in to get the flu shot with my husband today after making our appointments online a week in advance. There was a one person waiting ahead of us which was fine. After that person my husband was called to get his shot. I was surprised when the pharmacist then called a girl in after my husband and not me, even though my husband and I checked in together. I heard the pharmacist telling the girl's father not to tell anyone that they let them drop in since the appointment slots were full. I was frustrated that the pharmacist didn't just take of me afterwards but I let it go. Then the pharmacist called a guy behind us who was part of a new couple who had checked in well after us. I went up to the front desk to double check that I was checked in. They replied that I was and said they were busy. But that didn't excuse why someone who came after me was called up first! When the pharmacist then proceeded to give the wife of that later arriving couple her shot, I told them I was leaving because it had been far too long and the we left. And this whole ordeal took 45 minutes because the time in between each person was very long. I understand being busy but totally ignoring the order in which people signed in was unacceptable! read more

The pharmacy section of this CVS has had its ups and downs. Right now I'd say it's in a major slump. The current head pharmacist is a real dbag and asking him any questions is a waste of time because he will reply with belittling unhelpful remarks. In my experience he has in fact been wrong with a lot of his advice. The photo section of the CVS closes too early and I've had some bad experiences with their photo machines. They seem very disorganized and I've placed orders before only to be told later they didn't have the print dimensions I ordered and cannot print the photos. This CVS is beyond its former glory days. read more

The place to go if you want to get COVID. Not only is this location dirty (on a good day), staff should be disgusted at their covid guidelines and customer protection policy. Employees pushing past you to stock shelves, line markers 2ft apart, no clear directionals for people to walk (literally had someone climb over me), etc. They should be moving customers through as quickly as possible, and yet the lines are longer than ever. This place isn't bad. The parking lot gets crowded sometimes - not sure why cause the rest of the shopping center is barely existing. There are some decent deals here. It's pretty much a typical CVS. At least they haven't put in those self-checkout machines! read more

I bought two camera batteries here yesterday for a total of $25.76. For the heck of it I looked up the price on Amazon. It was $6.72 for the same two batteries with prime free shipping. Now I understand the local pharmacy marking up items because of the convenience. But almost 400% over Amazon retail!!! I felt totally ripped off. Fortunately, they cheerfully returned my money when I brought the batteries back. read more

Situated next to a couple of dingy looking local stores in suburbia, this big business branch does it's job to serve both locals and passer-bys on Route 9A. It's an expansive store for a CVS, hosting a large quantity of hallmark cards and seasonal decorations. It lacks a wide selection of chilled drinks like specialty colas, energy drinks, and the revered cases of alcohol. Stationary could be found, with an oddly large amount of pens placed in one aisle and the other crammed with chips. There's also a make-up section in another corner of the store where there is sometimes a specialist. The lines are usually snaking to seven to eight people at times, but the workers will sort this out easily as long as a complainer isn't at the head of the queue. In the front, there's a photo centre where the staff usually handles the job in a quick manner. Opposite of that, all the way in the back, is the pharmacy, which doles out prescriptions from friendly looking pharmacists to a mostly elderly customer service. Parking outside is like a cramped cave - it's hard to back out without bumping into somebody else who's also rolling back, and during the night, it's even harder to see the heavily trafficked lot. Product prices are slightly cheaper than the high-end looking gas station across the route. All in all, this CVS does it's job to serve the community by providing convenience. read more
