I had my prescription at Walmart but had to switch to CVS because of my insurance. So I called CVS to give them All of the information. Insurance card, doctors name, ect...I used to run several drug stores and I know they're busy so I gave them almost a week to fill it. I get there and nothing was done. I asked the technician and the pharmacist if there was anything I needed to do, like call the doctor, call Walmart for the transfer. They said no we have all we need. So almost a week goes by and no call or anything so I go to the store to pick up my refill. It's not ready and they didn't call me to let me know there was an issue. So they had me talk to a pharmacist and I explained the situation, he told me there was nothing transferred. I think he realized that he was the one that talked to me on the phone and said he had everything they needed. They just didn't bother to call Walmart to get it transferred. I tried explaining more to him and he said, I heard enough. I'm like ok, let me talk to the pharmacy manager. The pharmacy manager was very professional. I explained the situation and he took down all of my information. Within three minutes if leaving there he called me back and said Walmart was transferring my prescription. He said it will be ready as soon as they transfer it. So what happened the rest of the week??? read more

This pharmacy has really gone down hill over the last few years, but my experience to day takes the cake. I went to pick up a very important life affecting medication. My Dr noted on the script not to fill with 2 very specific brands of Generics which actually make my situation worse. Well they filled it with the worst of these two. I talked to the pharmacist and he basically told me he has to except what comes from the warehouse and there was nothing he could do Which I find difficult to believe. He then told me I was going have to find a new pharmacy. I was not rude in anyway but really not happy. Now I need to jump though hoops to find a new pharmacy and have my Dr send the script there. This is a medication I require daily but can not pick until 30 days have past. So hopefully I will not be hospitalized or worse before I can make it happen. read more

People are soooo friendly here! I could not find Jack squat as I'd never been here before but it's a great location with lots of parking. Prices were sooo much better than Canadian prices so I grabbed up what I could. (Packing/ weight/luggage issues) I'd come here regularly if I was lucky enough to live here. read more

The people at cvs pharmacy in A.G. have really left a positive impression on me. After the rite aid shut down they were inundated with new customers and I imagine thousands of new prescriptions to deal with. Despite this huge change they are able to keep cool and deal with every customer's needs..professionally; no matter how rude the customer is being. (Props to them) I know they are working as fast as their computer systems will let them. I have never gone to a pharmacy where the dr puts a prescription order in and it's ready within 10-20 minutes or less. Of course this depends on availability but so far I have been lucky enough to experience exceptional service here. I hope other people will take the time to recognize their efficiency. Now, although I am a fairly young woman, I have had my fair share of pulmonary issues over the years that have required acute and chronic medication regimens. As a result, I have been a frequent CVS customer in the various cities in which I have lived over the years. Let me just say, the wonderful staff at this particular CVS deserve special accolades for the fine care that they provide their patients/customers. I can only imagine how busy and oftentimes overworked/understaffed pharmacy staff are, yet Mary, Dave, Avery, Diana et al greet every patient with kindness, respect, and dignity. I don't use this often but, I visit town pretty regularly for my family! Rite aid was my absolute go to but we all know what happened anyway! My son takes medication that's pretty important and Avery was such a big help at Rite Aid it was FANTASTIC seeing him at CVS!!!! I got exactly what I needed and the whole team seemed to get along, big smiles from all the clerks and the techs just all looked so happy. It made me feel so much better! There was a long line but that's only to be expected with the Rite Aid situation. They showed me the barcode and it definitely looked like efforts were being taken to resolve the long wait times!! ‍ free snacks and a priority lane!! The pharmacy at this location really really concerns me. I was scheduled for my 2nd shingles vaccination there & had already had my 1st one at CVS. The pharmacist didn't check the records & see it was my second, so assumed it was my first. He also automatically scheduled me for a 2nd one (date/time scheduled in system w/o checking with me 1st) even after I had corrected him & told him that one was my 2nd. The pharmacist also tried to push vaccines on me that I didn't need (e.g., RSV when I'm not old, fat, diabetic, or immunocompromised). He pushed the hepatitis vaccine on me. I assumed it was hepatitis A, the one that I could actually benefit from preventing ppl from getting sick from contaminated food, & asked if I already got it back in 2007, if I would already be due for it. He said yes, & gave me a hepatitis shot. However, afterward, I looked at my records & saw that he actually gave me a hepatitis B shot, which is not applicable to me as I am not an IV drug user & do not sleep around (in long term committed relationship for yrs). Then, I looked online & saw that hepatitis A vaccination usually lasts a lifetime or 20-30 yrs minimum. So, this incompetent, unethical pharmacist pushed a vaccine on me that I absolutely didn't need. I will never get vaccines at this pharmacy again or ever trust it. NEVER. I am a firm believer in & supporter of vaccinations & their benefits. However, I really recommend that people research the vaccinations that pharmacist at this specific CVS location pushes as they may be pushing vaccinations on you that you do not need at all or you may not be due for for decades. read more

I went in around 9:15PM on a Friday night--they close at 10:00PM. There was an employee up front finishing with a customer as I entered, not really paying attention to them. Did my shopping (Ensure, Vitamin C, & sore throat spay) and walked back up to the front to check out. Nobody around. In a normal level voice say "Hello? Hello?!?" Nothing. Look around store; no customers, no employees, nothing. It was starting to get very foggy outside and I thought "Is this it? Is this the start of the zombie apocalypse?" Say in a much louder voice, "HELLO!" The self checkout terminals were closed so that wasn't an option. Dismissed the notion of just leaving a guesstimate of how much it would be on the register & walking out--I was paying cash, so that was an option. Finally a slightly frazzled bespectacled towheaded young man came out from the back doors, and apologized because he had to take out the trash. He was very friendly and helpful, but it seemed like he was all alone there. CVS needs to spend the money and make certain there's always at least one employee in the main shopping area. I'm slightly exaggerating, how long it took, but for at least four or five minutes I really could have done anything at all that I wanted to do inside that store. As I say, the blonde gentleman with glasses was extremely polite and helpful. I would be leaving a one-star rating if it weren't for him. But if he is there alone, CVS needs to double his pay because he's doing the work of two people. Oh, and there was also a problem with the Internet connection so he was having trouble scanning my items, but that's not really his fault or CVS's--Spectrum goes out all the time around here. read more

I wrote a review about this pharmacy about a year or two ago. I rarely go into the place because I get my scripts through the mail. I was in there last week to have a prescription filled and I want to report that they continue with the same incompetent work as always. I told them the prescription was transferred by IngenioRX to them for a 30-day overide because I ran out. First, they couldn't find the prescription, then they found it but weren't sure. Then they were sure. The most amazing part was that they didn't know that IngenioRX was the mail-order prescription plan used by Anthem Blue Cross. CVS fills the Ingenio prescriptions for Anthem. I was walking around the store while I was waiting. They have these bright yellow tags under half of the merchandise in the store. The tags have different messages like "expires on X date" 2 for one must buy two" and lots of small print. I felt sorry for the stuff that didn't get tags. Maybe they'll get tags when the other tags are expired. I gave them two stars because after making me crazy they filled the script in10 minutes and on the way out the door the store manager made what was apparently a nice remark that I couldn't understand. He didn't know about the pharmacy incident. read more

Made an online vaccine appt for Sunday, 11am. Got here before my appt, and then had to wait 57 min BEFORE finally getting the vaccine. The pharmacist didn't even show up until appx. 11:30am, and then took three others who had 11am appointments. It wasn't until I raised my voice about waiting since 11am, that he finally paid attention to me. He said there had been a lot of shots that day, but I knew none had come in I since I had entered at 10:55am. I even received a text WHILE I was finally getting my vaccine telling me they had to cancel my appointment!! This lack of customer service was truly pathetic. Do much, much better!!! read more

Went to pharmacy today to pickup and the pharmacy tech was unkind. Then she held me to wait for gods gift to pharmacist and call out that They needed to consult on medicine that I have been on for 3 yrs and I waited for 11 minutes while they chatted together and as people walk to them while I am waiting. So I waived at the female pharmacist to assist and she was rude to say - yes we know but we are busy can u wait - I retorted you want me to wait another 10 minutes. Then the pharma tech asked the other pharmacist could he see me. Waited a few minutes came over with - sorry we are busy. They were both arrogant and to add insult to injury - customers always wait in line and the staff tends to close their line to go on breaks. I can't believe the incompetency of this pharmacy-from the pharmacists to the counter help, even the automated system scores 1star. Believe the bad reviews but realize things are actually worse. 1. Went in for a booster shot and the female pharmacist isn't wearing a mask. Actually about 50% of the staff wear masks. 2.Combine that with asholery attitudes and total incompetence when it comes to filling your rx(or not filling it, which happens too often.) and you get the the complete failure that is this cvs pharmacy. I don't understand what is wrong with this pharmacy. I cannot get them to fill prescriptions on time. I've had to discontinue taking birth control because of them not filling within 30 days. Apparently they fill every 35 days. I had withdrawal symptoms last month because they won't filled another medication on time. I've asked for prescriptions to be put in automatic refill, three months in a row. Then they enroll it and they don't fill until you have only one pill left and I work too late to pick up immediately. Every time I bring up the problems they don't listen to me when meds are out they don't call the doctor for a refill. And they don't let you know when you have no more refills it's really unethical at this point. I've never had these problems. And I feel like I've tried really hard to be patient but it's not getting any better. read more

Pharmacy is fine - typical CVS like any other. However, the store is in terrible condition. All the nail polish is old and separating. It's apparent that this store has either neglected to update their inventory or purposefully chooses to sell old product. Many of the cosmetics have been opened and thus cannot be purchased. There are some eyeliners that have all been opened in particular colors. Ok for your pharmaceutical needs but otherwise STAY AWAY. read more

Twice now the pharmacy says "Your prescription is being processed" I try to be patient but after three days without my medication I call and they say they need to fax my doctor. Then how is it being processed. Finally get the paperwork straightened out and go in for pick up. The woman at the checkout tells me it's in the process and I'll be called when it's complete. True enough in called to the counter within a few minutes and she tries to have me sign for a flu shot. What? I point out that's not my name and one of the other women behind the counter gets me my medicine. Needless to say, I will be transferring this prescription. This pharmacy used to be great- but this is the second time in recent months that there has been a big run around on paperwork. read more

You sit and wait in the drive through for 10-15 minutes only for them to tell you their system is down or they don't have what they are supposed to have in stock. Poor customer service and the workers ignore you. Most of the my prescriptions have been free and one day this chick goes "oh for some reason you're prescriptions are free today".(in a very dry voice) I've had my prescriptions mailed to me for the past year. (Due to this) I changed insurances and even if I'm paying to have my other medications mailed to me they won't include one of them because "according to this your insurance wants you to walk in". So there's not anything you can do? Apparently not. I am switching pharmacies because they just aren't customer service based. Actually no stars if possible - used the CVS app to order a refill on a Rx. The app replied that I could not fill until the next day. So I tried again the next day. App said not fillable until mid August. Since it was filled the day before. So I called the store and explained that there was a problem with the App and I need to refill the Rx. They said it was not their problem and told me to call the insurance company. Insurance company said that yes it was CVS who should call them and they would not delete a charge for me. Insurance company called the store - the store dropped the call. CVS hung up on the insurance company. So I called the store again to make sure it was not filled the day before. Then called the insurance company who called the store. Guess what! CVS deleted the first days insurance billing at the insurance companies request. Insurance company said it was CVS who should call not the patient. Then CVS said I could refill the next day - the day after the App date. Why have an App if it doesn't work. But if they don't answer phone calls - your stuck. Get in your car and drive over and wait in line.!! How's your carbon footprint?! Basically fraud on CVS part. Charging for goods not delivered. CVS app charged the insurance company - took the money - before checking if the Rx was fillable- Pharmacy could not be bothered to call. Lazy SOB. Pharmacist and technician all terrible. Dr called in prescription yesterday and we have an appt in Stanford today at 245 for presurgery Covid testing. I came in this morning at 10 and was told they need 15 more min. I saw the pharmacist walking around helping people in the store. Went back after 15 min and pharmacist was just returning to the pharmacy. Was told they needed 10 min. I told them it was urgent because I have to leave for an appt in Stanford and need these meds first. Pharmacist said "well I need 10 min and I'm talking to you right now". Unbelievable. I had been very polite and was surprised at the attitude. Used to be better here. read more
