LabCorp takes way too long to process lab results. But their staff are friendly, and their centers are conveniently located.

I had to come here for lab work this morning and though we all hate to get stabbed by needles for these kinds of things the wonderful staff at this location made everything as quick and painless as possible. I made an appointment online ahead of time. My doctor sent orders for a lot of blood work urine samples and even saliva testing which I have not had to do before. The lab staff were excellent in instructing me how to do the testing properly and they made my lab draw an easy quick and painless experience. I was even able to check in for my appointment from my car and skip the waiting room entirely using the link in the email for my appointment. They text you when they are ready to see you so you can skip all that sitting around with a mask on your face while waiting. This is excellent and helps minimize indoor time if you are immune compromised like me. I really appreciate that. The place is very clean, bathroom is well stocked with soap and supplies and the staff was very friendly and kind. read more

I have gotten my blood drawn by Autumn a few times now. She is AMAZING! She's the only woman there, checks you in, does your labs in under 60 seconds, and soooo easy to talk to. I mean seriously, give this woman a raise. I have had my blood drawn many times and this is by far the best experience I've had. She got my veins first try every time and told me I was an easy draw, where I have had other phlebotomists take 3-4 pokes and say I have tiny veins before getting it. I was in and out in 5 minutes, for a supper affordable cost. I have never written a yelp review before but needed to speak up about Autumn!! I would rate her more than 5 stars if I could. read more

This USED to be the best location for blood tests. There was a change of staffing recently and after experiencing the new staff person three times, I determined the behavior shown on my first visit was the same as the second and third visit. The "new" person is unfriendly, curt, and has a "can't be bothered" attitude towards the work they are employed and presumably paid to perform. I am trying to be relatively polite, but rude and uncaring are perfect descriptors of the behavior. Also, the location used to accommodate walk-ins and I've watched the new person put off a walk in -- when she was NOT DOING anything--just anticipating an appointment not scheduled to arrive for 15 minutes. What is the deal LabCorp? Please give this person some customer service training and an attitude adjustment. Unfortunately, my doctor prefers LabCorp so the lab results and ranges are consistent and this is the only local option. read more

Found this lab through Covid-19 anti-body testing capability. I'm not having best notes to make about a couple of major labs in San Luis Obispo, though this lab experience in AG was _a.m.a.z.i.n.g_! Made an appointment online and had Zero wait time. Walked in, they had my information in the system, found all the info that I had given prior and after a super quick check on the insurance card, I was already in the patient's lab seat. Blood draw is never my thing as my veins are deep and hard to find. The woman took extra time, checked both arms carefully and after concluding that both are equally hard to identify, went back to my preferred choice of the left arm. She instructed me of how I can assist her best and even at my middle age, learned a thing or two. She doubled up on bands, took time and extra care and got the blood draw done super sweet, easy and almost painless. I was amazed. Best experience of any of the blood draws I ever had as I know how hard of a time other nurses have finding my veins. Kuddos to his staff member who assisted and LabCorp in AG! The gal that works at this Labcorp is so sweet. I believe her name is Autumn. She is basically running this place by herself with no help while the Labcorp in SM is closed because I don't think they have any staff. So she is taking all the patients from there, plus all the patients from our area. Just FYI if you have to wait a little longer or feel impatient, she is doing her best! read more

I came to LabCorp now for my recent blood tests and they've been so great! The best part is with my appointment I've been able to be seen right away. I've gone to other places around town and they're so busy I have to wait even with an appointment but never with LabCorp! I've also ordered my blood tests on healthlabs .com and it works great with LabCorp. In and out within 10 min each time! Highly recommend! read more

I tried to get a blood draw using the same codes that I have been using every 2cweeks for 9 months. The lady told me that Medicarecrejected one of the codes, but she did not know why, or offer any help. She put a lot of pressure on me to sign a form stating that I would pay if Medicare did not. I refused, went home, called the doctor, and was told the codes were good. read more
