This has gone from a 5 star to a 1 star service since my original review. I received a bad prescription for Levothyroxine where the pill appeared to be past it's useful good-by-date and just disintegrated when I put it in my mouth. John wouldn't allow a return so I had to call the corporate office, who kindly allowed the return. A few days later, hubby goes in and asks for the small, RED, pseudoephedrine pills that you can only get behind the counter. John says, "Do you want the 12 hour or 24 hour." My husband picked one of the choices thinking they're both the small red pills since he knows I have allergy throat constriction problems and can't swallow big pills. John hands my hubby the bag and it's the huge, long white pills. I asked hubby to return them for the correct one. It ended up as a screaming match between John and hubby, with John upset that hubby didn't know the different 12 vs 24 hour pills were the white ones (told John we didn't go to pharmacy school like him and he should have explained that when my husband asked for the small, red pills and John offered a totally different choice of the white pills.). John's yelling, saying hubby asked for the white pills and my hubby is yelling back saying he FIRST asked for the red pills so why would John offer a choice that isn't the RED pills. The screaming match was in front of other customers. It ended with me on the phone, letting John know we'll be calling corporate yet again. We are half year in Cali and half year in Atlanta. We don't have problems with the Cali store so I'm not sure why there are so many issues and poor reviews for this store. With CVS's stock significantly down due to rising competition, this type of optics is not a good look for the Company. read more

Both pharmacists at this location are knowledgeable, efficient, and always willing to answer questions. Each of the many employees I've had interactions with have also been friendly and helpful. This has always been a busy location, and even more so with the other CVS on Powers Ferry closing. However, those at this store always manage in a courteous way. read more

There is really not much to say about CVS. It's just your average drugstore. I went in to buy small containers of hand sanitizer for a flight, and clearly I picked the wrong place to do so, because 2 oz hand sanitizer was $3.50! Outrageous! The workers were friendly, but seemed to not want to ring up anyone, now that they have self checkout counters apparently. There was a very loud, annoying static noise throughout the store that gave me a severe headache. read more

Since I am staying nearby and needed some basics as well as a couple of prescriptions. Enter: this particular CVS. Definitely not the newest or sleekest, but it gets the job done. As others have said, the pharmacy folks are nice and, fortunately we hit it at the right time because they were not busy and we got everything we needed and were out in 15 minutes. Note: they have fliers with really good deals on all kinds of stuff from dish soap to chips so if you are always up for a bargain this is a spot for you! read more

Every single CVS within a 15 mile radius is the exact same- and I've changed them all for that reason. They never have anything in stock, they don't help you it you've gone a week without your medication and cannot get it now because they haven't ordered any yet is absolutely ridiculous. Compared to my go-to CVS in midtown, this one just doesn't deliver the service. Waits for pharmacy staff can be long, and often only one sales clerk is working the front registers. But in a pinch, it'll do. The prices and sale specials are about the same as other CVS stores. Just be careful in the parking lot. It's small, and the suburban SUVs tend to be very aggressive. read more

I actually drive past another CVS to come to this location because the pharmacy employees are so nice. Pharmacies in general are pretty sucktastic and CVS has ridiculously high prices on everything. Well, everything except prescriptions. CVS Caremark is my company's benefits provider and the low prices make coming to one of their pharmacies extremely appealing. So, unless I change jobs or something else comes up I'm stuck going to CVS. I'll keep coming to this one despite a newer, fresher location (with a drive-thru) being closer to my home. read more

I've never had such bad experience at a pharmacy. After my pysch is told to call to confirm my medicine script the pharmacist on staff says she "isn't comfortable" filling my prescription. She would not budge. If you depend on your meds I suggest you go elsewhere. Long time CVS Pharm user but that was unacceptable. read more

An employee named Jason was standing at the entrance when I arrived at 9:55. He said they were closed. I asked..."Dont you close at 10? He replied "yes" I said, "It's 9:55, I just need some eyedrops, wont take more than one minute" He replied "we're closed" Not sure how long he had been at the door turning customers down. read more

Long overdue. I live right around the corner and I dread every time I have to go to this store. Every time I go, which is usually for bottled water and distilled water. Shelves are never fully stocked...ever. I always have to ask for it. It's either in the back or they are out of...no surprises there. I went in tonight with very low expectations needing distilled water as usual. None of the shelve. Decided to wander into their back room and go figure...there was the distilled water......help yourself. If only CVS would go away and a Walgreens would go in. I literally despise having to go into a CVS for anything. They are so slack. Wait time at the register is always ridiculous. COUPONS/RECEIPTS ARE RIDICULOUS. read more

RUDE PHARMACISTS! I got there at 9:05, not knowing the pharmacy closed before the rest of the store and the gate was pulled down but I could still see 2 employees (a woman and a man) talking. The woman was close to the counter and the man was in the back talking, I was trying to see what time they opened tomorrow so I said "Excuse me?" The woman completely ignored me and pretended she didn't hear. I said it again louder and the man said 9:00am and the woman said "Uh no it's Saturday, 10:00." Then I said "It's too late just to pick something up?" The woman ignored me again and the man paused then said "You can come at 10:00" I get that they were closed but seriously no reason to be that rude to a customer!! My boyfriend scratched his cornea so he was unable to drive to get his prescriptions and I didn't get home until 8:45 and thought the pharmacy was open as long as the store. You never know what is going on in someone's life, no reason to be an asshole. read more

1) Saw their huge signs for flu shots and went in. As a senior needed a stronger than normal vaccine. They didn't have it. Tried again a week later with same results. Tried again and they had the vaccine but screwed up my insurance information and couldn't get it to process. Would not call the insurance. Went to Walgreens and got the shot with no problem. 2) Went in after surgery to get a prescription for painkiller filled. Very rude pharmacist took a .02 second glance at the prescription and said "we don't have it in stock." (How did she know that off the top of her head?) I asked her to call another CVS to see if they had it - she refused. After driving to other CVS with no luck and no help I drove to Walgreens and had it filled within a few minutes. PS Restroom at this CVS was way past filthy and well into totally disgusting. Feces all over, trash strewn around, etc. Obviously hadn't been touched in days. At CVS rude, unhelpful people, NASTY restrooms. Guess where my first stop will be in the future. HINT: It ain't CVS. read more

ALWAYS a freaking wait at the pharmacy!! Also, aren't there HIPAA regulations about screaming to you across the pharmacy about your prescriptions and insurance information? Yeah, I thought so. I would love if this location had a drive-thru, but they do not. It's also a bitch getting in this place. You have to go one way to turn left, but you have to go across a road with a median filled with trees with limited vision/eyesight/whatever... Watch out for cars. Like some of the other commentators, I have never written a yelp review before, but for this CVS location I had to. I advise NO ONE uses this location for prescriptions or medications if they are in need of something in a timely manner. Not only was I hung up on and ignored, like many of the others who wrote reviews, but the pharmacists denied me of my medications that I needed. Maybe too much information but... I had a UTI, and for those who have had them know how uncomfortable and painful they can be if they go untreated. My prescription could not be filled the same day, as they had to order the medicine. No offense as I understand that can happen (not ideal but ok).. It wasn't until day two when I was told my insurance was expired that I started to get upset. I had called all day and been hung up on several times, before they mentioned what the issue was as to why they had not filled my prescription. They claimed my insurance was expired, after hanging up on me to tell me they were TOO BUSY to help me get the issue straightened out. My insurance was not expired, the pharmacist and the technician just refused to call my insurance company to check. I called the insurance company and it was a very simple fix. By the time my prescription was ready I woke up on the third day with pain since the infection had only grown worse. I have never been in such an incompetent environment as this one where the most important job of a pharmacist - fulfilling prescriptions - was so blatantly ignored. I had hoped I was the only one with these issues until reading similar reviews where many have experienced the same problems. To my dismay, many who have gone to this CVS failed to get their medical needs taken care of. Thank god I was not in an absolute medical emergency or I can only imagine the situation I would be in three days later with no medicine. DO NOT FILL YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE. read more

The folks in the pharmacy are very nice and capable with one exception. Like most of them they stay very busy in the pharmacy but they try hard and once they get to know you they take care to help out. This CVS is as good as any of them in my opinion. It would be better if it was a 24 hour pharmacy but what the heck. read more

First off this is my first review ever on Yelp. I already don't go to CVS and will go out of my way to go to Walgreens. Unfortunately a CVS is right across the street where I live and is the most convenient location. I needed to get a prescription filled tonight or I wouldn't be able to get it filled until the new year because of insurance reasons. I arrived at this location 20 min before closing and the pharmacist looked at me and the first words she said was "you won't get it until tomorrow." I explained my situation and all she said was the locations of other CVS stores I could try. This was the worst customer service I have experience in any industry. It also just reaffirms my decision in never visiting any CVS ever again. read more
