During that time, I noticed that although there is a sign stating that tobacco use is prohibited, an employee has repeatedly appeared to vape inside or immediately outside the store. I have also felt uncomfortable during my visits because this employee seems to closely watch customers and frequently looks people up and down as they enter. While I understand that employees may monitor activity in the store, these interactions have left me feeling uneasy and reluctant to return. I called the pharmacy to ask for the employee's name and was told it was "Ali." When my boyfriend later called, he was told the employee's name was "Haas" and that he was one of the owners. The inconsistent information added to my discomfort and uncertainty about the situation. I am sharing this feedback because I hope management will address these concerns and help ensure customers feel welcome and comfortable when visiting the store.

In years and years, I had maybe one minor hiccup with getting my prescriptions filled here. I don't know what changed, but suddenly, it's absolutely gone to shit. For example: They've worked just fine with a particular prescriber for years. I've had no issues whatsoever with him, but suddenly they're insisting it's his fault they don't have my meds ready. Turns out, they randomly started faxing his phone line! His contact info didn't change, so wtf happened?? I just corrected their info - again. If they screw this up a third time, I won't give them a chance to endanger my health ever again. I get blatantly contradictory info from the person who answers the phone vs. the pharmacist, and from one pharmacist vs. another (or whoever they are - they don't even bother to tell you who you're dealing with, most of the time). Then they all just pass the buck - they clearly care about defending their egos, as individuals, more than they care about the patient who they all, as a pharmacy, are harming at that very moment. I'm now without an essential medication, yet again, solely because no one there can be bothered to do their freaking job right. They can't be bothered to show any hint of basic human compassion, either. They've repeatedly endangered my health and well-being, and apparently don't give a damn. Coming here was, at first, a massive relief - I'd just left a hell-hole where this sort of thing was the norm. I only left when they escalated from being merely incompetent to unconscionably negligent, after giving them way, way too many chances. I will not make that mistake again. Upon entry, I noticed that there was a UPS store inside as well as a pharmacy. It turns out that both are run by the store owners here. When requesting a print at the pharmacy, I was directed to use the UPS printer. The posted print rates showed that a black-and-white print was only $0.25. So no biggie. The person at the UPS section told me to email the document to an email address then they would print it. That went smoothly. However, when I went to pay at the Pharmacy, I was told the cost would be $2.41. They charged an additional $2 for "using the computer" even though I never touched a computer! Although it wasn't a huge charge, I refused to pay for something I did not use. The pharmacy owner told me that UPS forces them to use the computer option for security purposes and every UPS store does the same. I respectfully disagreed. I know for a fact that other official UPS shops allow you to print via options like USB and flash drive. After a passive-aggressive exchange, the pharmacy owner agreed to charge $0.30. Overall, I understand why businesses would want to get a few extra dollars out of every transaction, but I think this tactic of abusing the print charges is wrong. Otherwise, the person at the UPS store seemed nice and the owner did the right thing in the end. And note, I am sure this isn't an official UPS store - it is surely an authorized dealer because no one wearing a UPS uniform. This is my first experience at Norman's. I recently moved to JC and have been looking for a pharmacy with vysanse. It's been hard to get my scripts filled lately. I called Normans and they luckily had stock. I walked over, dropped off my script and after 20 minutes of waiting the male pharmacist asked "Is this you? Where do you live?" and began to quiz me on my identity. I've recently moved twice in two years and my ID address did not match the one on my prescription. He gave me a lot of grief about it and then told me to "take it back to your old pharmacy" and began to shoo me away... If the owner had said that it's policy, that they could not fill the prescription because of the mis-aligned addresses, then I would have understood even tho I have not had an issue in the last two years. Instead it felt targeted, like he suspected I was doing something bad?? I felt very shaken up from the experience because of his demeaning tone and what felt like an interrogation.. As a service provider, I really depended on them to help fill my script because it's so hard to find vysanse stock these days. I am disappointed and looks like I won't be doing business there.

Try not to catch them right at opening hours, especially if the weather is bad. They keep your info on record, and it's nice not having to repeat yourself or repeat processes if you have regular meds you need to keep picking up. They should probably boost their Yelp presence though, and fill out their business information so people know what to expect when/if they come.
