Absolutely horrid service. I was trying to get a script filled for seizure medication and the pharmacist was mumbling and was so vague so when i told her i couldn't hear/understand her so started shouting with such a rude tone. Then they "lost" my script then to find out she put it under the wrong name. Working with "Janh Nguyen" as a pharmacist is a nightmare. Save yourself and go to any other location. read more

I honesty wish there was the ability to provide negative star reviews. I visited the store this afternoon with my female friend who is not African American and we both requested items that were locked up from the same employee at different times. The employee handed my female friend her item which cost more and told me that mine had to go up front to the register. I didn't think anything of it until my friend brought it to my attention and showed me her item. I complained to the supervisor on duty (she was actually nice) but the situation really affected me. I don't understand why I am profiled and treated different especially from a retail chain store like CVS. read more

The drive-thu pharmacy is the worst I've ever been to. I went yesterday and waited 10 minutes for them to tell me they didn't have my prescription and it would be another 2 hours. The woman was rude and treated me like I was stupid. I went home, 10 miles away, and today I'm back. I've been sitting in my car for almost 30 minutes now and I'm finally second in line. What can I say about Michael?? He quiet literally saved my bacon as I needed my medication ASAP. And he took the extra step to figure out my insurance and send my prescription to a CVS that had it in stock. Typically we don't see this level of customer service especially on a holiday from the pharmacy as they we typically extremely busy! This pharmacy is the worst one in Brea. They rarely pick up the phone, and even if there is one person in the drive thru it takes 45 minutes to get medication. I only started going there for the drive thru but it takes way too long, even when they don't seem that busy. It's pointless. They also always get something wrong and tell me they'll put it in the notes and it's still always wrong when I head over to pick up. I'll be transferring everything over to rite aid, less of a headache. read more

Rude people..couldn't get my 90 year old dad his meds. He lost his credit card and is awaiting a new one. I put my credit card in the system so he could get his much needed medication that he is out of. I live 60 miles away so I can't get down there. After 30 minutes on the phone setting up an new account they tell me won't deliver until next Tuesday and he lives 3 blocks away... I go here often because it's close but it's horrible. I walk in with a wallet only and keys and the employees are just hovering around me. I assume they think I will steal something. They all ask multiple times if I need help, I say no. When I go to self check out another employee is hovering 2 inches away even though there's a camera directly in front of my face. I'm trying to focus on paying and scanning my items and she's interrupting me trying to rescan my stuff. WHATS THE POINT OF SELF CHECK OUT. Just check me out yourself then!! You made this 10 x times longer. Leave the customers alone until it's checkout time. read more

It has been a nightmare dealing with this pharmacy. We had a prescription sent here by accident and my primary pharmacy was not able to fill it for me because CVS already billed my insurance. We were on hold for over an hour trying to reach a staff member to reverse it so I can pick it up from my primary pharmacy. Not a single person answered the call... it immediately just went to that awful hold music that they have. read more

They seem to have worked out their issues and I haven't had any more problems getting my prescriptions filled here. If they don't have a medication in stock they order it for me. Everyone I've interacted with in the pharmacy and the store is very nice and helpful. Best CVS location ever! read more

I was so happy when CVS opened down the street from me. The customer service is exceptional. The manager is extremely courteous and always ready to assist his customers. There is plenty of parking and the store is clean. The extra bucks and coupons always help! I definitely recommend this location. This CVS has the best service of any CVS I have gone to in the past. This is the worst pharmacy ever! I had meds called in on Thursday when I called to see if they were ready they told me that they would not have them in untill Monday !!no one from CVS bother to call me to let me know I found this out on a Friday I had to call my Drs office to let them know thank god they called me in a couple just to get me through until Monday I was told 2x that they already called on Friday to get the meds delivered on Monday. Here it is on Monday and guess what THEY never called to get the order NOR call me again! so once again I had to call my Dr. which is not in. I was suppose to leave for a 2 weeks vacation on Friday then had to postpone until Monday and still NO MEDS..There are way more professional pharmacy out there don't bother to go here. read more

Terrible service. Dropped off a pain medicine prescription at 10:15 am and they told me it would be ready in an hour. My mom was in a lot of pain and needed the medicine fast. I told the lady that and at 12:30 after I had not heard back from CVS that my medicine was ready I called back to check. I waited on the phone for 15 min before someone was able to pick up the phone. She told me that it was still not ready and it was going to be another 15 to 20 min. This is second time that happens to me. They never have enough workers or I am not sure what the problem is, but they definitely do not fill prescriptions in the order they receive them. I will probably not go back to that pharmacy. read more

This cvs is the worst example of customer service I've seen in a long time. I went to the pharmacy on a Thursday afternoon to get a prescription filled for antibiotics after I stepped on a nail. I was told I would have to wait 1-2 hours. Since I had to get to work I told the pharmacy clerk I would come in the next day,(Friday). When I got to the pharmacy there were 4 people in line in front of me. After 15 minutes and line movements, it became obvious that they lost a womans syringes that were part of her prescription. When I finally got to the counter, I was told my prescription was not ready and I would have to wait for it to be filled. This was 24 hours after I was told it would be a 1-2 hour wait the day before. Because I had to get to work, I left. I had 2 items that I wanted to purchase so I headed for the front counter. There wasn't anyone on the floor or behind the counter. I put my items on the counter and left. The cvs website for that store says Saturday pharmacy hours indicated the pharmacy was open until 10:00 pm. I got there around 6:10 only to find out the pharmacy was closed. So now I have to go back Sunday, 72 hours after my initial visit to see if my prescription is ready. If I ever get my prescription, I will never set foot in this store again. read more

Worst customer service by the Morning Manager, It was 4/29/21 at 11am, Had a few items to check out, After waiting for 3 or 4 minutes in line to check out (no one else in line and no one at the check stand), The manager comes out and says just use the self check out, I said I dont have good luck using my coupons with the machine and prefer to have a human to human transaction, The manager said sorry we dont have time to ring you up, use the self check out, So I had no choice but to, and of course my coupons didnt work, I told the manager this, He was very very argumentative and telling me that NO CVS no allows people to do check out and its all self service now at all stores, Strange because in the last 3 days ive been to 4 different CVS stores, Tustin Ca, Yucca Valley Ca, Mission Viejo and La Habra, Not once was I told they no longer service people face to face. This person is Lazy and should not be in a management position, Oh and of course he had no name tag on, I asked for his name and he told me "see you later, have a nice day". I cant believe CVS would hire someone with this kind of attitude, ALso would like to point out neither the manager mentioned above nor the vendor that he was having a conversation with had masks on the entire time I was in the store, CVS need to check up on this store. read more

I made an appointment on line for my flu shot and shingles vaccine. When I showed up they had no record of it in their computer. I took off a extra hour from work to make sure I was there. And normally they may have been able to take me but the backup pharmacist was at lunch. They told me it would be a 45 minute wait. So I left. The next day I called and the pharmacist made an appointment for me for after work and when I arrived they set me in a little room, visible to the customers. I waited, filled out the necessary consent forms, and waited. And watched as customers kept arriving and no one was being acknowledged while she attended to my shots. And we waited and we waited. I finally told Sarah to please help the customers in line...I couldn't stand that they were not be helped or acknowledged. The problems boil down to this: CVS doesn't have enough staff to offer the services they advertise and the staff they have are not customer focused. This is a new store so I blame the district manager for not having it staffed properly and not having the staff trained properly. This took an hour and should have taken 20 minutes. read more
