I didn't realize how watery my drink was until I got to the cashier lol so asked if I could change it she said yes so I paid then ended up with pina colada and mtn dew flavor. Went in to redeem my points for some "gulps". Took my sodas up to register and when I get up there the man just looks at me like I'm dumb and charges me when I clearly have enough points to redeem my drinks. I show him the app and again just stares at me with a blank look and REFUSES to let me use my points or show him the barcode on the app. Idk who this new guy is but the whole point in using the app is to be able to redeem benefits right? No wonder this place has 2 stars. Payed for the drinks when I clearly had reward points for them. Not coming back , hope 7/11 Inc. catches this scammer the way they caught the scammers on Central and Tamarack. Didn't even have a name tag. read more

I come in almost every day to buy Red Bull and cigarettes and the homie Zach behind the counter makes the experience so awesome , that I don't even care about the insane taxes or inflation. He's cool and makes the place ten times cooler . Also, he's got huge muscles so I make him open my snacks before leaving . AVOID THIS LOCATION. I stopped by this 7-eleven location last week around 5:00 pm. I was very surprised to find that they had no coffee. They were all empty and didn't look like they were even making anymore. One of them had some, but it was barely wan and tasted old. You should have coffee around the clock, the first location I've ever been to that didn't and believe me I've been to many. People drink coffee all hours of the day especially in the winter months. What a shame. The place looked pretty dirty for being in Brea, CA. I was pretty surprised. The worker (woman) wasn't nice at all. I came to the counter and she proceeded to walk to the counter aisle behind me and stock candy instead of saying give me one minute or I'll be right with you. Rude! She was literally barely from behind the register when I got up to it and continued to walk around it and around/behind me and stock. My friend and I visited this location last night, December 26th from 9:00pm to 10:30pm. A strange white car sat at the back of the parking lot when we got there and it wasn't until cops pulled in and another passed by, which was about a half hour later, did they leave in a rush. Then at about 10:30pm, a truck pulled in at the back and it seemed like he was taking pictures and just left. We no longer feel safe and will not be going to this location anymore. It's concerning that the owner only schedules one employee per night shift, especially after what happened back in July. I have come here few times,this 7 eleven store after the incident happened on July 11. I am still in shock about,how things are moving here,even though the previous employee lost his life in that July robbery incident,still no one has taken any safety and security steps towards the employees and customer safety.But My main reason writing this review is that On October 24 I have came to store to buy something and noticed few strange people who came to store repeatedly in a span of time and they were trying to observe the place,it felt like they were planning to rob the store soon. I felt so unsafe to visit the store anymore,they have no security guard even after July incident happened here. This is so unsafe for the employees working here and for us as a customer to visit store. The owner should take some security measures for the safety of employees and customers out there,It is so unsafe like this that only one same person working there in the night shift. I think Jake is a great staff and addition to 711! However, I've had such a terrible experience with the female staff Rachel or Michelle. At this point, I can't tell if she's discriminating against me or racist. I've seen her husband who rides a cruiser/Harley bike in which would sway my belief that way. She twists policies of 711 and does not allow customers to get their small under 52 ounce refills for .99. I contacted corporate and they indeed do coffee refills, Slurpees, and fountain drinks for .99 to cut down plastic waste. So upsetting of an experience with her multiple times in a row. The first day, she requested we show her the refill container then we did, then she watches us like we are homeless people. Lady- just because I'm Asian and 9 months pregnant doesn't mean I'm a slob, have no respect, or understand the policy that 711 has in place. Seriously should consider hiring someone that speaks English. The guy is following me around saying buy something. Being that I am Black, I'm wondering if he thinks I'm gonna rob the place or just being racist. After a minute or so his frustration sits in and he says hurry and buy something and a few other words I couldn't make out. Only giving 1 star cuz it doesn't let me do 0. Walk in and I grab an Arizona can (0.99) and a large arrowhead water (1.99). I go up to the register and I have my 7-11 app ready. I need to buy one drink to get my free one. Guy rings me up and tells me $3 and some change. So I'm like "oh one should be free cuz I only needed one more star". He says ya it went thru. And I say "well this was 1.99 so that doesn't make sense". He walks over and says no it's 2.49. And I said "no look on the left that's 1.99". So he says I'm not sure how to change the price. And I said "okay well does your manager" and he said ya but he's on the phone. And I said "I can wait". Manager walks up like he's already in a bad mood and I explain what happened. He says nope it's 2.49. And I said "they are marked 1.99" and he said ya I put them there cuz I didn't have any other room.
