This CVS sits at the end of a small plaza adjacent to the larger retail plaza on Franklin Road…read more I popped by in search of OTC meds, and found what I needed for the most part. Their selection was a bit limited due to empty spots, and one item I was after they didn't have alternatives for. This location is a bit older and shows its age. It's worn from inside to out, especially inside on the floor and ceilings...and just overall energy. Speaking of energy, service was lacking here as well. The overall vibe of this location was consistent, but it was not great, especially for a CVS location in Brentwood of all places.

I usually use CVS Brentwood, 330 Franklin Rd because it's convenient, but I had a very frustrating…read moreexperience with pharmacist Victor. I came in for an urgent prescription, and he immediately said it wasn't available and the nearest location was in Hermitage--over an hour away. I asked multiple times if he could check other stores or inventory, and he refused, saying "that's all my screen shows." I later found the medication at another CVS just 10 minutes away. When I returned to tell him, he didn't apologize or offer assistance, saying I'd have to call Hermitage to transfer it myself. I ended up spending over an hour handling something that should have been simple. This was unhelpful and dismissive. I hope CVS addresses this, because customers deserve staff willing to actually assist rather than blindly follow the screen.

This Kroger sits on Franklin Road parallel to 65 and anchors a shopping center that also features…read morePetco and First Watch...and at first glance, you'd assume this is your standard Kroger location, but that assumption would be false! This Kroger is the rich uncle of Nashville area Kroger stores, and I am here for it! From the moment you pull in, the grey painted brick tells you this location is next level, then when you enter you are immediately greeted by the large lit "BRENTWOOD" sign atop the fruits/veggies wall. The store has clearly gotten updated in the past few years, but it doesn't seem like the whole thing was done. The inner aisles and registers look to be in line with other stores, however the outer aisles, specialty counters, fruits/veggies, pharmacy and the exterior all appear to be outfitted with the latest flooring and signage. In addition to the updates, the store is quite expansive. I definitely felt like this location has lots more variety of your standard items than other nearby Krogers. Service was friendly. I didn't encounter anyone on the floor from a service perspective, but did notice several employees stocking and straightening things up. The cashier was friendly and efficient. Overall, this is, hands down, my favorite Kroger in the Nashville metro area! The fresh and semi-upscale look combined with the large layout, nice Starbucks, copious amounts of small double-level carts and overall solid vibes make this location a stellar spot for all your grocery needs!

They typically have what I need in stock, which is very helpful. The only thing I wish they would improve on is the pickup parking lot; better traffic flow or signage would be helpful. Overall, because of the convenience and prompt service, I will continue to take advantage of this service.

Looking for sales on Christmas decorations in late December after the holiday had passed, I found an excellent deal! There was this Santa's Bake Shop inflatable normally priced around $100, but it was about 75% off with "only 2 remaining" as the website touted. Stock was low so I had to act immediately! At roughly $25, this was a nice little bargain. And I could pick it up at the South Nashville location. So I bought it! Two days pass and the item should be ready in South Nashville. Instead, the South Nashville store cancels my order and claims that the item is sold out. What's the purpose of having a button you can press on a website to buy something that is low in stock only to have your order revoked? Is that how online shopping works with Walmart? But it gets worse! A day later, the item reappeared on the Walmart website ... fully in stock ... for $199.99! Say what?! Yup, Walmart is just that greedy. Why make $25 off a customer when you can make $200? And that BUY button on their website? It means absolutely nothing.
