    Reuben sandwich

The Puffy Muffin has an unassuming exterior in a Brentwood strip mall (the real Brentwood, not Brentioch). And if you've never been, you'd fail to understand the amazing dishes and bakery items they're cooking inside. The Reuben sandwich is excellent with crispy, buttery rye bread, tasty corned beef, and subtle amounts of sauerkraut and dressing. The fries are even better, crispy outside and tender inside with spices. And that rich molasses cookie wins the prize, one of the best cookies in the Nashville area!

Located in a strip center in Brentwood, they serve breakfast and lunch. Family owned and open till 230pm midweek. Check their website for weekend hours. We seated ourselves and the server was friendly. My wife had the gluten free sausage breakfast sandwich and I had the biscuit and bacon breakfast sandwich. Both were a good portion and made fresh. Expect to pay higher than normal prices due to their Brentwood location. Menu choices are limited but they do offer plenty of To Go Meals and the food is very good.

I had heard good things and driven past this place so many times -- it's hard to miss a giant sign that says "Puffy Muffin" . After finally trying it myself, I would definitely recommend for breakfast/lunch/brunch if you're over in Brentwood/Franklin area!! The place is adorable (fitting with their name), comfortable and decently spacious, and it is easy to both find the restaurant and find parking . I had thought it was just a bakery, but they have a good range of selections for both lunch and breakfast foods -- plus, my goodness, like 6 refrigerated bakery cases you can walk in and order from if you don't want to sit down! The staff were friendly and helpful, service was quick, and all-in-all my friend and I really enjoyed our food and experience. I will definitely be back and I would recommend it to anyone

Just WOW! Not only is this an incredible bakery it's also a beautiful restaurant. You can't help but to enjoy a fresh made cookie or 2 or 3 (don't judge LOL). Great service!! I mean great service!! It's nice when the business matches their product. Great bakery with absolutely delicious pastries and cookies.

Puffy Muffin is a great spot for delicious breakfast. They have a large selection of food and desserts available to take home too. Located in a big shopping center, parking is easy and plentiful. I was blown away by how many options they had in their case to grab and take home. They carry a large selection of cookies, cakes, sandwiches, breads, soups, pies, quiches, and more! This is a great stop if you're looking for food or dessert to grab for later. On a Sunday morning we had an expected wait for a table. The waiting area is large and comfortable. We didn't wait longer than the quoted time. Our server was friendly and attentive. For a very busy morning everything flowed well. My breakfast was tasty. I ordered Steak & Eggs. The hash brown casserole was my favorite part. The steak was a little different than I expected, but seasoned nicely. I grabbed a lunch to enjoy the next day and really enjoyed it. It had a yummy amaretto chicken salad, lemon poppyseed bread, cranberry salad, and a pimento cheese slider. Overall, I enjoyed Puffy Muffin. I'll definitely be back!

Food was solid. Customer service was solid. Came with my work computer but no wifi. Not sure if I'd return but nothing bad to say.

Nice to have a bakery/breakfast place that offers options for those gluten sensitive. Plenty of seating in the spacious cafe area with folks lingering to read or enjoy conversation. The food came out piping hot and coffee was very good too.

Delicious food and able to make creative cakes. My grandson had an idea of the cake he wanted for his groom's cake and they were able to make it. The cake was a bear's head and It looked and tasted great! Communication was great and everyone is friendly and professional.

Burger with onion ring, bacon and bq. Side of fries

Excellent Bakery and overall restaurant. We enjoyed lunch here, ordered burger w/bacon, onion ring, and bq and the other plate ordered was salmon w/asparagus. Suggest ordering the sauce for the salmon on the side as not to be smothered in it. Both were excellent. We ordered two chocolate cookies for desert and only complaint was it was cold and hard. Would have been better heated up as dessert in the restaurant. Overall experience was very good and will visit again.

The baked goods are just not good! ‍ They aren't sweet and they are very expensive. I do enjoy breakfast there with quiche.

This Brentwood one is easy to access with it being right on old hickory blvd. The decor on the inside is very farmhouse rustic and fits the brunch vibe. Despite it being busy on a Sunday, my partner and I were seated immediately during our visit this morning. We ordered the chimichurri steak hash off of the winter/spring menu and an order of the lemon ricotta pancakes from the standard menu. Both dishes were a hit. It was so much food that we will both have leftovers for tomorrow's lunch and a pancake for tonight's dessert. My hubs felt the chimichurri steak was a bit salty, but I like it that way. I find the quality of food at First Watches to be generally consistent: I have favorites I get almost every time that I know will satisfy me but they have a large menu with truly something for everyone, even my picky and dietary-restriction laden parents! This location can get a little busy around prime brunch time late morning on a Saturday or Sunday, but generally I'm able to walk in solo or with my parents and get a table immediately. Service is very good and attentive, friendly, but I have an inconsistent experience with the saltiness of food at the one. Occasionally, items like the potatoes or garlic bread are extremely salty, to the point of being difficult to consume. Generally speaking my favorite order is the trifecta with a Belgian waffle, crispy, potatoes, and the millionaire bacon (for a slight upcharge). The coffee is strong and always really delicious. My parents recently really loved the chicken pesto power bowl - extremely flavorful but very good. I've also really liked the turkey wrap and whatever their latest cornbread special is, in the past. Parking is pretty easy because this location is attached to a shopping complex and I'm generally always able to find something nearby. This will continue to be a staple in my Brentwood breakfast out rotation.
