Their first question was did I not notice when I picked it up. First, I did not pick it up. Second, if I had, it would not have occurred to me to check, because I trusted this place until now. And then they tell me there is nothing they can do, I have to wait 20 days for the rest of the order because insurance won't authorize a second transaction. 3 stars, not 1, because I've used this pharmacy many times for prescriptions and vaccines with no problems.

It's smaller that most other Walmarts I've been to, and thus isles feel a little cramped. I am generally able to find what I need , but it is still a limited selection compared to the bigger stores. It does the bare minimum as a Walmart but I do not favor this place that much. They do not carry produce whatsoever, only stock pre packaged, boxed and canned foods. (Which isn't good for families in the area) I feel I spend too much time whenever I'm here and I just can't vibe with it. The sketch feel and overall subpar atmosphere is just not for me. If there was less development in the area I'd be inclined to avoid it altogether.

Now every time I never get notifications and I'm always having to sign up every single time and it still doesn't work. For the past year I've asked them to notify whoever handles their system and let them know there is an issue but it is never resolved. PLEASE FIX YOUR SYSTEM. They are dedicated professionals and the five stars are for them. In my opinion, the pharmacy is understaffed which is on Walmart, not the pharmacists. So I try to time my visits for less crowded times. I also call when I have questions so that I have what I need to know before I go. In other words, I do take an active role in managing my prescriptions, and this has helped develop relationships with the pharmacists. Last, Walmart does have an app that is meant to cut wait time at the pharmacy. I have never been able to get it to work properly but am told that it does. You may have better luck with it. If you have recurring prescriptions and periodic changes to what has been prescribed, I highly recommend this pharmacy.

It's very small compared your average CVS, only 2 aisles filled with emergency items such as over the counter medications, gauze, medical cream/Vaseline etc. No food, beverage or electronics here. Most employees come here to pick up their prescription or if they need some medical supplies for emergencies. Great overall service, the pharmacist is very willing to answer all your questions. Very convenient when you are an employee at Allstate Northbrook. They close at 5pm and during lunch hours.
