The pharmacy is so horribly understaffed that the employees can seem a bit rude at times because they are so tired and overworked. It's a terrible way to treat your employees and a terrible way to treat your customers. There is always a wait. There are sometimes errors. CVS used to be much better but customer service has gone the way of the dodo. Good luck with your employee turnover. I don't know how they can stand it. Hint: a minimum of two pharmacy techs and a cashier WHO IS NOT ONE OF THE PHARMACY TECHS should be working all day and into the early evening. The habit of staffing your pharmacy with one pharmacist and one or at best two harried employees is what drives the customers screaming in the other direction. If I can give them no stars I would. I had major surgery done and was prescribed Percocet. I was just discharged from the hospital and wanted to get my pain meds before I go home. They didn't have it available, but they also refuse to tell me which branch has it available. Their answer was just to drive to another branch and find out if they have it there. Really?!! How hard is it to make a phone call to another CVS and see it it's available there. The service and lack of sensitivity of this hell hole is appalling! I was at another pharmacy before in an almost the same situation. The pharmacist called in another branch, took care of it then and I went to pick it up. Terrible costumer service! Omg....this cvs is the worst.... I'm currently writing this review as I sit on hold.... And have been on hold for 15 minutes .... One time, I was on hold for so long that I drove to the store and waited in line while I was still on hold. And they never picked up. I hear them pick up and put me back on hold. 20 minutes now. I'm beyond disappointed at the customer service at this location. I had made a purchase of over 400 prints of photos which were terrible quality. I didn't notice of the quality until I took it home. I had to make an album for a family member so of all the photos I printed, I only kept 20. The rest I threw it away. I called corporate for refund, they said I have to go to the store. I called the store, spoke to supervisor named Diana who also got permission from store manager Cleidy that I can go to the store with the receipt to get my refund. I mentioned to Diana I don't have the photos, she said it's fine as long as I have the receipt. I took the receipt few days after but neither Diana or Cleidy were working so the associate named Caesar said I can't get refund without the photos. Why does the store want my personal photos? But I explained I've and over to Caesar that I don't have them and he said he can't do anything about it. Imagine my frustration. I called corporate back, submitted a complaint against the store and the employees, even corporate advised that I dispute the transaction with my bank, so I did. And on top of that, I called the headquarters and contacted the district manager for this store location. I loathe the customer service here, and while I was on the phone with corporate while at the store, Caesar and this heavy weight girl were giggling and laughing at me. At least don't make it obvious. Then when she finally does she doesn't even explain how to use the medication. She just looks at me, i was like are we done. She like yea do you have any questions. Then my father asked for the restroom code to use the restroom, after we were paying customers, and he simply mocked us and walked off never to return. Why are these places so SLOW to checking you out. Why is it that they always have a single person doing all the checking out? Why not do self check out kiosks to ease the Pain of customers having to wait in line. This isn't a bad review about this CVS. It's every single one I go to. This is for Fedro! This guy is funny, works hard and super helpful. We were wandering around trying to figure out my friend's coupon ordeal and he asked from across the counter if we needed any assistance. We did not, but it was a nice gesture. We continued about our shopping and when it was time to check out and we were in line, he called us up as it was our turn. Just the small talk he made with us was funny and genuine and he was efficient throughout the entire process. He noticed that the liquid soap we were about to buy had opened and started leaking so he informed us and we got another. Nothing too big i know, but just an overall unexpectedly fun experience that we weren't expecting at CVS. THE ONLY THING NOTTTTT HAVING TO DO WITH HIM, is that some girl who was probably 20 with her mom, was walking around the store barefoot and it was gross. And I'm not entirely sure, but it seems like it could be a total liability if she steps on a piece of glass or whatever may be laying around because you never know, then CVS gets sued and Fedro is out of a job. Not really I know, but you get it. The employees maybe should take note and let her know she must have shoes or foot ware, and EVEN maybe that they sell them! Good selling point! And I'm fairly confident that she has shelter somewhere because the car her and her mom got into outside (we happen to leave at the same time, I wasn't stalking). Called in a prescription for migraine medicine from out of town. Told me I would receive a text/call/email around 6 pm (this was 8:30am) when prescription was ready. Never heard back from them. Spend the day taking over the counter meds with a raging migraine. read more

Why does the lady in the pharmacy have such a bad attitude? She knows I've been trying to get an RX filled all day and even on the phone she snaps at me .... I'm sorry you hate your job. That's not my fucking problem. Edit: the lady on the phone (and in person) with the bad attitude told me I could transfer my RX to any CVS but didn't warn me that once they closed, they'd lock my RX and it can't be transferred anymore to a 24 hour location. Been dealing with them since 1 this afternoon and they didn't warn me they were out of stock and that once they closed I couldn't transfer the RX. Had ample opportunities for many hours to share that information with me but were too busy being a bitch to try to be helpful. read more

This cvs has the best pharmacy, the staff is very nice and helpful. The pharmacist who is also the pharmacy manager is Natalie, she is just amazing, she is so knowledgeable and such a kind and caring person, she explained all my drugs and answered all my questions. Here is a tip on the pharmacy when you go to the doctor and he gives you a prescription and it is for a controlled substance or any other meds. see if the hospital that he is affiliated with has a dispensary (small pharmacy) in the hospital and use them to fill your prescription or use the small pharmacy in the lobby of his office . CVS and the other Walgreens Target Walmart will not fill your controlled Meds they will tell you that they are out at this time and to try one of the other stores and you will get the same sad response from them to. Meanwhile you are in pain and need them . I have had the best service from the small mom and pop pharmacy's give this a try you will be happy and when you are in pain you want happy. read more

Worst store in history. If you want any kind of service or quality product Do not go to this store. If you have a prescription in hand that your Dr just handed you, that you can fill everywhere else, but they make you wait 2 hours and then tell you they refuse to fill it and refuse to call and speak to the Dr you just saw to review it. Then try to find a manager none to be found. Front area is full of customers but no employees. How are these people in business they dont care. The simply could care less. Folks at the front cash register were perfectly friendly. The treatment that I received from the pharmacist was horribly rude, unprofessional and bizarre. I came in to pick up a prescription and the pharmacist then proceeded to ask a number of pointed personal questions, of which I started to answer. I then asked if he needed me to answer these questions in order to pick up my prescription, to which the pharmacist said "no" and turned away to find my prescription. When the pharmacist returned, he tossed my prescription onto the counter, walked to the back and had an assistant ring it up. read more

OMG !! This place is terrible. I've been going to this pharmacy for quiet of some times Just because is very close to where i live. But Hell no more. This time to refill my prescription it took them 5 FREAKING days. I literally mean that. Every time i call them they say " Oh we don't see any fax from your physician ", so i call my doctor office and they say oh the should have it we faxed it one hour ago. So to make the long story short I've been calling between the pharmacy and my doctor office for five days. I didn't know whose fault was it till my doctor office showed me all the fax head lines with the pharmacy fax number on them proving that they have faxed the pharmacy 5 or 6 times during the 5 day period. And finally my doctor office had a three way call with me and the pharmacy so i can FINALLY get my prescription refilled. I WOULD NEEEEEEVER GO BACK TO THIS SO UNORGANIZED PLACE EVEEEER !! read more

I've been to this pharmacy many times and each time the service has been terrible. I have to fight with them every time I get a renewed prescription to get the correct version of it, instead of them giving me the generic which my doctor told me I should not get. They claim it is no longer being made even though I could have picked it up a month before from that exact location from the same person. They are so rude when speaking to me, and most times after I tell them to do their job (I don't say that to them, I manage to keep my cool in these situations somehow) and just ORDER the prescription I need and what was prescribed they give me an irritated sigh, concede, tell me to pick it up then hang up on me without another word. This has happened twice, (my prescriptions having been renewed twice,) and it makes me furious. Once, I had to have my doctor herself CALL the pharmacy to demand that they order my medication because they would not when I asked them to. This pharmacy gives a bad rep to their store, because the workers and manager on staff for the non-pharmacy portion are very nice and helpful. Considering switching to the one on N. San Fernando Blvd. I hope it's better. As an update, I tried calling to get my prescription yesterday and I was put on hold for 20 minutes and then was abruptly hung up on. This is the second time that has happened! That type of behavior is so rude and unprofessional! read more

What can I say about this cvs except I liked it better when it was Sav-On. Aw, the good ol days. It's convenient for a quick run at midnight for some chocolates, ice cream or medicine (if you know what I mean) Other than that, the store is pretty clean, if not bare almost every time I go. Their prices are way too high compared to other drugstores and their staff isn't really helpful, nor are they knowledgable about the products they sell. Have been going here forever. I am extremely unhappy with them lately. I tried to get a refill on my perscription and they said I couldn't because I had picked it up and it wasn't time for another refill. WRONG!!! I called them. They said they had my signature that I had picked it up. Sick and tired of trying to convince them that I did not pick it up and none of my family members did. They are very unorganized and seems like they are backlogged as alot of times they never get around to calling our Doctors to get the refill processed. The ladies that work there are great, and the tall young man too. Very nice. There is one young man that has a major attitude and shouldn't be working with the public. read more

I rarely write reviews and when I do they usually just cover bad experiences. With that said, I should state that I have no knowledge of the pharmacy at this location (it appears to get horrid reviews). However, I do know one thing about this location and that is I received the best customer service yesterday by a young guy named Juan! Upon entering the store I was greeted with a smile, he asked me if I needed help finding anything in an upbeat and friendly manor and then when it was time for me to checkout he was prompt and polite! Many CVS staff members could take note from him; I often stop at the location on Hollywood Way and the customer service is ALWAYS terrible and unorganized. As someone with a background in regional training - I feel the need to point out that you may be under-utilizing this staff member. You should consider sending him to some of your other store locations to train staff on customer service! They could most certainly benefit from his energy and customer service style. Every time I decide to give CVS another chance, I'm left unhappier than I already was. My experience today speaking to Debbie from the pharmacy department deserves a review. She was really rude and needs to learn a thing or two about customer service. She puts me on hold saying she's looking into my request, accidentally picks up the phone again saying "Hi you've called CVS...how can I help you?" I tell her that she put me on hold and she says oops I picked up the wrong call. She moved onto another phone call before even helping a customer she had already spoken to. Besides putting me back on hold and making me wait another 10 min before picking up the phone again, her attitude and tone did not make me feel like she was there to help me. Lastly, CVS is a large company and you'd expect them to have a very common medication in stock, but they never do!! Anytime I've called any CVS I've always been told they're out of stock. I was also told that they're about to get a new manager next month, so the medication won't be ordered until the new hire...I honestly don't understand how a business like this functions. read more

This review is for the pharmacy not the rest of the store. Our insurance changed and we were forced to switch over to CVS. This particular pharmacy is one of the worse run pharmacies I have ever been to. I want to say they are understaffed but I have been there when 5 or 6 people are working and I am not sure what a couple of them are even doing. If I have any questions out of the ordinary they do not listen and I get rote answers. They do not follow through and find it difficult to have prescriptions filled when promised. But worse of all on 2 occasions I have been there when one of the associates (the same one) has asked a customer if they are picking up their birth control loud enough for everyone to hear. Worst CVS pharmacy called twice after I get a call from Maria telling me that they got my prescription then tells me I need to call my dr and get the prescription authorized what the hell right you just told me my dr sent it to you!! Any way after I call my dr I find that all it was is that my prescription was not covered by my insurance company. So I call CVS again just my luck MARIA picks up again and places me on hold for 30 min. Here's the part that drives me crazy I call with my husband phone (while still on hold with my phone) Maria picks up and helps me! It gets even worst I had to explain to her that it's not an authorization I need it's just that my insurance does not cover it yup I needed to explain to the women who works there what the computer was saying!!! Then I kindly ask her to fill it because I will be coming in to pick it up after an hour I get there and come to find out that Maria did not fill it so I had to wait again! Well from now on I will not be coming to this CVS and it's all thanks to Miss. Maria who by the way hardly speaks English and is so dam rude. CVS you need to reevaluate your employees!!!
