I've previously been at the damen location where they pick up their phones within 10 minutes. The issue is my doctor keeps sending my prescriptions to that CVS even though I don't live close. Nearly every single time I call this place, i'm on hold for 45min or so before I give up and just hang up. I don't even know why I bother. I have no clue how this place even stays afloat.

Upon arriving I was notified that they didn't take appointments, so they weren't ready for me (even though I got an appointment confirmation in my email the day before). I was made to wait about 10 minutes before they called me up to do the paperwork. Once it was filled out I took a seat again. Five minutes later, I was informed they didn't have the mixing powder to dilute the vaccine. Not all Walgreens offer vaccine services, but it seems like the ones that do, should be well stocked. Furthermore, don't participate in software that says it allows scheduling, when you don't follow that system as a store branch.

This Walgreens was great for awhile despite taking your life into your own hands parking in the lot and dealing with the gauntlet of POS beggars and derelicts on the walkway. Staff has become totally useless, they would rather hoot and holler with their costumer fields. This place gets one star basically due to the pharmacy. The staff has become outright nasty. The tech was mad because she had to repeat herself twice as she mumbled through a mask and plexiglass COVID sneeze guard. Jie was her name. Just really nasty and not nice at all!

If you value your time or need reliable service, avoid this location. They move extremely slow and don't fill medications within proper timing. This was a complete failure of basic customer service.

This store is smaller than most, and many times there are people loitering at the entrance, while the loiterers have nothing to do with the store inside, management should do something to make customers feel safe, and not be shaken down for loose change.

I had a script that went to Walgreens by accident, and found it was cheaper at Pilsen Pharmacy by half once it was correctly sent there - turns out it was more expensive WITH insurance, so they made sure to give me the best price instead! I told two different pharmacy techs that I was there for a vaccine and was told "you'll be called." After 45 minutes I waved the pharmacist over and told him I was waiting for a vaccine. He told me I needed to go to the Minute Clinic, which I did, despite my confirmation text saying to go to the pharmacy counter. I was sent back to the pharmacy and the pharmacist said he'd "found my appointment." So what was supposed to be a seamless in-and-out experience took almost an hour. The pharmacist was pleasant but never apologized for making me wait.

And the prices are quite reasonable. Though many customers are hanging inside, people are polite to each other, and the shopping experience is excellent. And unlike Whole Foods or Mariano's nearby, Jewel-Osco hires many disabled people, which I believe is an good example of CSR. But it was a pretty crowded at the time I went. Normal stock I would say, but I didn't feel like the produce looked as fresh this time around. There's still a good selection of items here and sales vary so you can find good deals.
