I wanted to buy a Visa gift card. They had MasterCard gift cards. So I picked up $25 each. When I got to the register, the guy told me that. You have to pay cash. I'm fine with that. So my two $25 gift cards. we're going to cost $61.25. They charge an activation fee. I don't think that's right. There used to be a good CVS about 3 blocks away, it had been there for years, had a great staff who lived in the neighborhood, and had a great selection of items. 4 or 5 employees at all times. Now we have this horrific shitshow with one semi-literate cashier who gives you a dirty look if you dare to make her do her job. Doesn't say a word to give you a total, just puts out her hand. I would give it no stars if I could. I'm pretty sure this store is being stocked by someone offsite. Easily the worst pharmacy I've dealt with. 4 and a half years ago, this pharmacy dispensed the wrong medication while I was pregnant and could have gotten me and my child seriously ill. Today, I bring to their attention that they failed to dispense the correct dosage of medication for my child's ear infection, and they claimed 'that never happens' and acted like I was trying to scam them out of a $5 bottle of amoxicillin. BS. I'll be switching my pharmacy after this latest incident. read more

There is no one there to help you find things. My husband was looking for reusable ice packs and the cashier said they don't sell them. I can see this store has them in stock and are available for pickup. Second time an employee didn't even bother to look for an item. Worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I have never, ever been greeted kindly or even with a smile. They treat you like you have supremely annoyed them by having the audacity to come in to pick up your prescription. Or they're just downright rude. You know what, if you work in a pharmacy and you hate it when people come to pick up their prescriptions, you are in the wrong profession. There was ONE time that the male pharmacist patiently and thoroughly answered my question about a contraindication. That was nice. Every other time I've been there, I left in a much worse mood than when I came in. I've kept going there because it's close to my house but I've had it. Assigning one star for each of the two cheerful employees who staff this woe begotten CVS on the NW side during the evening commute. They are nice to all who cross their path, from the old Polish guys who keep pulling their masks down to their chin to the frantic working moms stuck in the long lines. Zero stars for the person(s) who maintains the wipes dispenser by the front door and who tacks up lots of soothing placards on the front doors about how concerned CVS is about protecting us from COVID. If that's the case, then why is the dispenser of wipes by the carts *always* dried out? And why aren't cashiers empowered to act when customers are not masked? Most of all, zero stars for the craven managers who will not adequately staff this CVS during a *predictably* busy time. Not to sound like Captain Obvious, but if you don't allow for up to three registers to be open between 5:30 and 7:30pm, then you don't care. Message received. One star because zero isn't an option. I had to come in 3 separate times to pick up one prescription because they kept telling me the doctor never sent it in. Finally the third time my wife called in they said they had it and when I went in they were still about to send me away saying they didn't have it. They had it the whole time under a different file and no one working there could figure it out. That is literal incompetence. I don't use pharmacies often but I'll never come here again. read more

This Pharmacy has the worst attitude I have ever seen. They multiple times have kept the wrong prescription and filled it in spite of the fact that I've told them over and over again that I either stopped taking that prescription or dosage had been altered by the physician. When they look they said that you have multiple prescriptions for the same drug which makes you want to scream because once they fill the wrong one then they refuse to fill the correct one because there's a certain number of days before they can refill it every time I have interfaced with them I've wanted to pull what little hair I have left out. They don't want to listen to you they want to talk over you and tell you things that you either already know or don't care about. I would never go to this Pharmacy under any circumstances and I'm switching all of my prescriptions to Walgreens read more

I stopped here the other day because I needed stamps and I cannot abide waiting in line at the post office. Now, I live across the street from a Walgreens, but of course, it is a crappy Walgreens and they are always out of stamps, so I grab them when the opportunity strikes. This CVS is large, very clean and very well organized unlike my crappy Walgreens. I wish I had more time to check this one out, but I was in a bit of a rush. I did pick up a few plants from the tent that is set up in the parking lot. (My crappy Walgreens only has garbage and rude people in its lot). CVS had both flowers and veggies ready for planting. I even got some Brussels Sprouts to add to my garden. What I really like was that everything was so neatly organized in the store. It had a crisp look to it. I think they could benefit from a bit brighter lighting, but if this store was a bit closer to home, it would be a regular stop for sure. read more

Wasted $40 be aware, misleading information on cell phones and a manager that doesn't care. Go to Walgreens who value customer service...... Girlfriend visited to buy an Att sim for my phone. The signage stated it works with att phones. She spoke with a cvs ssociate who said it would work and if not it could be returned with a manager. Well it didn't work and after investigating the sim only works on AT&T prepaid phones and I have a regular AT&T phone. Returning to store with chip and receipt she spoke to a manager who was combative and talked over her. Actually she was more interested in talking to her friend who was next to her. The wouldn't allow a return or exchange. Get this she said "it's not part of our store and go to AT&T!!!!. WTF CVS sells the product, why should we go to AT&T? So $40 wasted on a sim I can't use. I have never seen such horrible Service. I'm shopping at WALGREENS from now on, at least they care. read more

BEWARE! Pharmacy staff are really incompetent! They have given the wrong prescriptions to my family - not once but TWICE! They dispensed a FORMER prescription to an elderly family member - who was unaware that they had done this. They gave blood pressure medicine in the wrong dosage which can have terrible consequences - Thank God we discovered the mistake in time. They are extremely busy and obviously can't handle the volume correctly. Don't take the risk - Find another pharmacy and be safe! Medicine is too important not to. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. Will never go back to this location. The two employees who worked there were zero help and did not know how to do their job. They were completely clueless how to use the registers and had a line of several irritated customers. Since they didn't know how to enter the CVS coupons, they wouldn't give the discounts. Gave me some nonsense reason that it was expired. It was not. Then one told me her computer has been acting up all day, so she couldn't manually enter my CVS account number. OMG the girl at the counter just now was sooooo rude I installed yelp just to review this encounter. She insisted that I read the price wrong on an item, even though I know I didn't. She had such a snappy attitude with me so I assured her I'd pay the higher price just to leave the store faster. Then she continued to be even more rude and combative even bugging her eyes out at me and telling me all the ways I'm wrong... I can't even at this point, I was in for medicine, obviously sick, next time I'll go to Walgreens! Pharmacy is regular hours. The rest of store is open 24 hours. Had prescription sent there thinking I'd be able to pick up after work. I have 4 locations closer to my work. Signage outside does not indicate pharmacy is closed. read more

Went there to get cough medicine for my Dad because he was sick. Got some Tussin and they asked for an ID. Was upset because I had to walk all the way back but it was understandable. They can't sell it without an ID, then those are the rules. However, I come back with an ID and I get TWO cashiers checking it. Like I'm going to use a fake ID to get a bottle of Tussin. Whatever, annoying but not the kicker. I get my change back and hurry home to give my dad the medicine. Find out the change is off by 10$. Just very unpleasant for no reason. :/ read more

I am sorry to say that I hate having to go to CVS, we've been going there a year and a half now and I have given them plenty of time to get their act together. And if it was not for our insurance company forcing us to go there (or our meds are not covered), we would have left CVS a long time ago. We picked a specific CVS because it was 24 hrs, only to find that two weeks after we picked it they no longer offered 24 hrs. We found out the hard way, when my husband got off of work at 1:00 am and stopped to pick up a script. He is in roll call at 5:45 am and tends to work a lot of doubles due to being an officer. We have issues with our scripts all the time at CVS not being correct, we tend to get shorted pills due to miscounting. Plus they always seem to run out of meds and can't fill the prescriptions. We were out of town (but in state) longer than expected and we went to a CVS to get a script refilled only to find out that CVS could not fill the script because their systems do not communicate. The only way we could get the script filled was to do a prescription transfer from one CVS to the other CVS and this takes at least 24 hrs. Than once we would get home we would have to do another prescription transfer to get it filled back at the original CVS. We have other pharmacy's such as Walgreens much closer to us and they are open 24 hrs and we have not had one issue in the 33 years that we went there, I wish I could go back. Walgreens bonus, their systems communicate and they do have pharmacies open 24 hrs. read more
