Went in Tuesday and they told me it wasn't going to be in until Wednesday went in Wednesday, still not in!!! Just had to run in for antacid at 3:30am. Saw they had a 24 hour sign on even though Yelp didn't show that when I just searched. The cashier didn't know how to count, thankfully the machine just told him the change to give. Someone could make a fortune by hacking the registers in America. I was on my way to CVS Pharmacy, which is out of my way, but the closest one that I live to. While on my way, on the freeway, I decided to call them to make sure that my prescription was filled. I had them on speaker phone and was kept on HOLD for the entire duration of the trip there. While finding my way to the back, where the pharmacy is located, I found not one patient in the waiting area Just me and the one patient at the window.. I could also see two lights flashing on the business phone,which was hanging on the wall next to the right of the drive up window. The young man, Mathew, was just finishing up with that customer who drove away seconds after I arrived. Mathew turned around and politely asked me to wait. I observed as he picked up rubber bands, several stacks of cards and grouped them together to form a pile, stapled a few other papers and move around the counter rearranging other supplies stacked there as well, to later, slowly approached me at the counter. I still had my cell phone on hold and on speaker with the same recording playing over and over on how the staff is busy with other customers and will be with me shortly. I showed Mathew my phone and told him that I have been on hold for over half an hour and no one was answering. He then replied, "Oh, so sorry about that but our phones are not working right now so we can'[t get phone calls", at which point I said, "I can see that there are two lights blinking. One of them is mine. Keep looking at the light and see which one goes off when I hang up" He turned around and sure enough, as I hung up my phone, one of the lights turned off, leaving one light blinking". He turned around, looked down and simply said, " sorry about that". After that he was thorough and quite polite. He seemed to do his job well but what I question is the management. The pharmacist David, obviously was busy filling other prescriptions because he never looked up, except when he could hear my cell phone playing the recording of the woman's voice announcing how someone would be with me shortly. Management needs to be replaced. Employees will only do as well and be as happy and professional as the management teams coach and treat them. The employees are only as good as the management that they represent. Look for another pharmacy. read more

I've seen myself coming here more and more considering I have a 1 year old baby that keeps getting sick! Today after her doctors appointment I went straight to this pharmacy and decided to use the drive through service since both my babies were asleep in the car, I thought I would have to wait for a long time but impressively I didn't both Pharmacy employees Brenda and Marissa were both super quick and had my baby's prescriptions ready in less than 10 minutes! Today I went into CVS in Chino after trying to get pet meds from California Veterinary Specialist even though I have a Valid refill because the doc left they inform me I have to drag my sick pet back there again to get her meds. My regular vet wrote me the RX and it's $700 to get. Brenda Garcia helped me and she googled coupons and after 20 minutes she found a valid one where it's $83.00 for the prescription. Kudos Brenda for making my shitty day good again. My pet and pocketbook also thank you!!!! Thank you soooo much. read more

My husband and I have been coming to this pharmacy for over 2 years now for my sons inhaler that he needs daily. I have never had any issues with this pharmacy besides the lines taking too long in drive thru, which I like to think is understandable due to busy location. However today I called to get a refill for his inhaler that he needed to take as soon as possible. I'm not sure who I spoke to but she sounded like a young girl. She answered like she had just rolled out of bed and sounded like she answered a house phone. Usually they answer with "cvs pharmacy, how can I help you?" I even looked twice at my phone to see if I was calling the right number. I told her what I needed and she told me there was an issue with my insurance which I didn't understand why cause nothing has changed as far as insurance goes. She told me she would call me back within an hour and nothing.. a couple of hours go by and I call back they put me on hold forever. I had to hang up. Called back again and another girl answered she sounded professional unlike the first one. She looked up my sons info and tells me that it's been ready since a long time ago. I explained what happened with the previous employee and all she said was sorry it's ready if you need it. Really? No shit I need it. Why would I be calling if I didn't need it. ( my son needed it) if I could I would've physically gone to the store to request the fill and to pick it up as well but I couldn't. I also have never had this issue but this cvs pharmacy needs to check these people and make sure they stay on top of their shit cause you can't mess with people's meds. But the first girl I spoke to that never called me back has no business there if she doesn't like her job. She was rude and short when I tried to ask her questions about the insurance issue and kept telling me I will call you back in an hour. I will change pharmacy and hope no one else deals with this. You could be waiting on your medicine all day thinking they will call you and you wouldn't even know until you call back a million times. Not cool!! read more

Very rude over the phone and in person didn't say a WORD just handed the medication and took my sign itunes and walked away. Not good customer service, should have stuck to Walgreens. The only reason they get one star is because it's required. First off, when I called to see if they had my medication in stock Eva (the troll with the hat) told me no. I don't know if it's a regulation to not give that info over the phone, but instead of lying she could have just said that. So I went to another CVS and the pharmacist didn't have my meds in stock but she did a stock check and referred me back to this location. Now that I'm annoyed, I get there and they say it's an hour and a half wait (for 2 medicines), so I go run a few errands and come back an hour and a half later and Eva is at the window and she tells me it is still not ready. One is ready but the other is waiting to be hand counted by the pharmacist and to come back in twenty minutes. Really? Does it take 20 minutes to count out 90 pills, I don't think so! This place is so disorganised it is frustrating. I'm switching my prescriptions to Walgreens or Walmart. read more

This CVS is a hit or miss. There's some employees in here who are better than others. And then there's the ones who are deeply unqualified to be in a customer service industry. Case in point: today I went in to return something that was purchased on the CVS.com website. As stated on the packing slip/receipt that accompanied my purchased items, I can go to a local CVS to make a return. When the shift supervisor (Angie J) was about to do the return, (mind you, she's already looking at the packing slip that proves that I've purchased these items, which clearly states that returns can be made in a local CVS location) she tells me that she needs a bar code to scan on the packing slip. I told her, (while pointing to the packing slip/receipt) that this is the paperwork that came w/the items. And it clearly states that returns can be made at any local CVS location. She proceeds to tell me that she can only give me store credit because she needs a bar code on the packing slip to determine how this was paid for. I informed her that this was paid for by credit card, because the purchase was made at CVS.com (it's not like you'll be able to pay cash or check on the website!). Bottom line: although she was able to give me my money back, she lacks the insight and know-how on customer service (as a customer, there's no way for me to know that a "bar code" is needed on a packing slip/receipt that is generated by their company!). The terrible reviews on CVS, in general, is a true testament on how bad their customer service is. As to their pharmacy, most of the staff whom I've interacted with are cordial and professional. Yes, their system LACKS a great deal of efficiency (examples: the other day I called their pharmacy 3 times, each time, was put on hold for an average of 20 mins., then yesterday, I wanted to check on a prescription that was suppose to be ready and the person whom I spoke to on the phone told me that I should have received a call from them, informing me that the prescription wasn't ready. The few times I've used their drive-thrus to pick up prescriptions was too time consuming. The wait is extremely long.) Wouldn't recommend this location at all. read more

Harry the Pharmacist at CVS was completely unprofessional. I came in to fill a prescription after spending 6 hours in the Emergency Room and he refused to fill my prescription because I told him I thought my phone number was on my prescription already. He went on a rampage about how he's been filling these prescriptions for 10 years then refused to fill my prescription. When I begged him to fill it he called the supervisor over who apologized immensely for his actions but said there was nothing she could do as she was not a pharmacist. It is not my fault he clearly hates his job after filling prescriptions for 10 years. I would recommend going to another pharmacy if you see Harry behind the counter. He was completely disrespectful and had no compassion or sympathy for the fact that I was in extreme pain and needed antibiotics as soon as possible. He should not be allowed to be a pharmacist. On top of all of this, my mother then informed me he had done the same thing to her. I will be calling and complaining to CVS during their normal business hours. read more

Lines are ridiculous, staff doesn't care. They walk right by and ignore the long lines even though they are clearly not doing anything important....texting or something on their phone. The drive up lines are just as bad and just forget about it if you have to call in and ask a question about the medicine you just picked up. I was on hold three different times in a row for over 20 min each!!!! I called back again and the lady, Emma said the pharmacist is busy and I have a customer before you??? Really? You have someone else that has also been waiting over an hour to ask the pharmacist a question? If that's true that would be very disturbing and would show there is a complete lack of care on the medicine they dispensed and the access that a patient would require if an interaction occurred that they were questioning and needed a timely answer. However this did seem to be an accurate assumption on my part because their pharmacist, Harry got on the phone, my final attempt before calling another pharmacy with more responsible and reliable staff, and he really could care less about the situation. So there it is. If you still decide to risk it and go to this location, you know what to expect. read more

Great pharmacy! Great customer service! Pharmacist Ching is always very caring and taking her time answering every question I have. Brenda and Marissa are always so helpful, friendly and nice. This pharmacy has drive thru which is very helpful when I have my baby with me. I know that my prescriptions in a good hands and I never expect them to fill my prescription NOW. I can wait because I understand how important their job is and I don't want them to rush it and possibly make mistake. Plus I know I am not the only one. Most of the time I drop off RX and pick it up the next day. When I come in I know it will be ready. I try not to go there between 4-7 pm when most people get off work and go to the pharmacy to pick up their RX. I avoid lines and go there before 4 pm. I use cvs app which is so easy! I always know when my prescription is ready, i can refill my prescription or request refill request. When I arrive at the pharmacy I only give bar code to scan and they know exactly who am I, my date of birth and how many prescription I have ready to pick up. App let me sign for prescription I am picking up. I love it! I love my CVS in Chino and amazing staff! Thank you! P.S. If you are this pharmacy patient, please remember that you are not the only one and that they have to take care of thousands other patients. Just have a little patience. read more
