CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - Cypress, California

I needed to buy a product to cover my temporary cardiac patch monitor to avoid it getting wet. I wanted to ask a question about the product I was thinking of purchasing, but there weren't any employees to be found around the store. There were staff at the pharmacy, but they had closed most of the windows and were ignoring customers (there was a pretty massive line). There weren't even cashiers at the registers or to assist if needed at self check out. I (and other customers) probably could have just walked out with merchandise without anyone ever knowing. I returned the item I was going to purchase to the shelf where I found it and promptly walked out. CVS customer service as a whole has been non-existent for a while. I will purchase my pharmacy and other basic needs elsewhere. read more

Customer service. The 2 cashier in front . I know they're short staff because only 1 working if I am picking up my order. The female staff she's kind of racist. 1st customer and the customer after me, she asked them if they have a phone number and offer to use their coupon, but not me . She doesn't even ask me about phone and coupon, I just did told her that, i have phone and coupon to use. I called to see if they had a battery for my blood sugar machine. Cameron was more than willing to help. He came out to my car (I am disabled) he took the machine , went into the store, replaced the battery, brought the machine back to me and I was on my way within a few minutes. Lines were long and we had to wait to get some locked items out of cabinets but Erick shown great kindness and patience while he opened various locked cases. At checkout he was again just as kind and efficient while helping us sort out our coupons and savings. We bought metformin, and when I opened the bottle, it had a strong, unpleasant smell. After taking the medicine, I got a headache. I went to the store to check the smell with the pharmacist, who said he didn't notice any odor. He then opened another bottle from the store for comparison, and the smell came from my package. He exchanged the medicine for me. While shopping nearby, I overheard the pharmacist talking to his colleague about me, making rude comments and laughing. I don't understand why I was treated this way just for checking my medicine. read more

Inflating our blood pressure, increasing our stress, making us hang up on their computer, wasting our time by making us drive there instead of handling issues by phone. No Staff Support on Sunday There was a female employee at cash registry when I walked in. But she disappeared when I when to pay for my item. I had to wait for a while but had no option to use self checkout. CVS employees seem to be taking advantage of weekend overtime pay technically not doing anything for customers. I have been coming to this cvs for at least 10 years and never once had an issue. I went to return flowers that were moldy on Valentine's Day. I didn't know at the time they were moldy since they were wrapped up. My girlfriend threw the flowers away since they were moldy, which is reasonable. I went back with the receipt to show pictures and let them know and they did not want to refund me. I will no longer go here and for 20 bucks they lost a customer that would have spent much more. read more

I am livid! My daughter purchased a gift card for Amazon from YOUR STORE, the gift card was missing the claim code!!! It was physically cut off of the top of the card but was all enclosed in the packaging. I called and of course once you get her money it isn't your problem! What a horrible way to do business! This location definitely needs some work in terms of better customer service. I received my COVID-19 SHOT here and was very nervous over the whole ordeal. I needed to use the restroom but was informed by the pharmacist that it was "out of order" seems unreasonalble since they have a store full of employees the process was quick and was free to leave. No monitoring of my health or wellbeing and no info provides on possible side effects. The lines for checkout are long and they never seem to have enough cashiers. Its getting close to being in line at the DMV. I only come to this location when necessary as its close to my house otherwise I will visit the Wallgreens down the street or the CVS on Lincoln. The days of good customer service are slowly becoming a things of the past. read more

This is the second time I've complained to the manager but now I'm posting here as well. If I could vote Zero I would. This used to be my favorite drug store. Pharmacy was fabulous and store was neat and clean. No it has totally incompetent Pharmacy staff. No customer service. It all seems to have changed with a new pharmacist. This place is just not a good place to shop or get prescriptions filled. Final problem was went in for a prescription they were texting me for and it turned put to be a nasal spray from two months ago not my quarterly thyroid meds. jeez, relentless texting with no indicator of what prescription. They said can't do my thyroid for another 5 days. I also wanted allergy meds. They were out and were not able to call another store. Guess what I called another local CVS and pharmacy staff said they had it, drove directly there 5 mins. As a former slav-on, i mean Sav-on drug employee, I found everything wrong with my transaction, well...it was more like the CVS employee found everything wrong with my trasaction. This was what happened. I was equipped with two "$3 off purchase" store coupons which they sent me and two "$5 off coupon for tylenol products" and a $25 gift card. There were no restrictions stated on the store coupons or so I thought..... When checking out, I had brought a couple of tylenols, some candy, some toys, and a prepaid phone card onto the counter. This was what happened. The girl over the counter said, "oh, you can only use the store coupon if you buy $15 worth of items" I said, "huh?" it doesn't say that on the coupon. She said, "oh, that's how it's supposed to be." Not happy , I went along with it She then said, "You can't use a gift card to buy a prepaid phone card" I said, "What??? But we paid cash for our gift card." UN-EFFING BELIEVABLE. She was not happy and neither was I because all I could said was why...eh..why not..and why you so cranky? Long story short, we were able to complete our transaction but i didn't get my prepaid phone card. I think the girl was just doing her job, but CVS rules just suck. They are not as crowded as other stores so I can always in & out easy. However, they should light up their parking lot at night a bit more since it does gets quite dark over there. read more

i had a very simple question so i called the pharmacy to clear things up. i explained my issue to what sounded like a young man after being on hold for 15 minutes. without addressing me or my issue, the man asked me to hold again and i waited on hold for 15 more minutes. when i finally got through to a worker, i explained my problem again and the woman told me i called the wrong number. i explained that this was the number attached to the cvs i booked my appt through. i told her that i was very frustrated as i had a very simple question and had been waiting on hold for 30 minutes. she was very rude and told me i called the wrong number and to call the pharmacy that was attached to my appointment. obviously i called that number because i thought that's what i was doing. terrible costumer service. read more

I placed a photo order and the coupo would not go through, so I called CVS and they told me to come in and he would be able to help me. When I got there, the employee had no idea of the sale and asked me to show me the coupon on the phone as he did not believe me. When I showed him, he called the manager. She came and said there was nothing she could do. No apologies for the inconvenience for the mobil site or the fact that I drove there because he said he could help. And when I said I do not want the photos, she told the employee, "Trash it!" right in front of me. I felt that was very unprofessional and very hurtful to the customer if it were photos of their kids or family. Best flu shot.EVER! The pharmacy staff at this location goes above and beyond. They are kind, helpful, and patient. I took my mom for a flu shot a few weeks back and the woman that took care of us was so very kind, and quite cheerful. I was in this same CVS location again this week and noticed a very long line for flu shots, and again, the entire pharmacy staff was kind and helpful to all.
