Lately it seems like the majority of CVS stores that I visit are not stocked well, but this location was very well stocked and there were several people restocking the shelves in multiple areas of the store. I was even approached to see if I was finding everything that I was looking for. The store is located in the Encino Marketplace, so parking is plentiful. Walking in, the store was bright and it was easy to navigate the aisles with the ceiling signage. The young girl at the register (there was only one open) was busy looking down in her phone and barely looked up at me as if I were an annoyance interrupting her texting while servicing me. The pharmacy was super busy on Monday early evening, and the line for prescription pick-ups etc was long, but I'm glad there was plenty of staff handling everyone in a quick manner. Walking around the store, you have your little bit of everything: drinks and snacks, beauty hair and skin makeup products, travel essentials and toiletries, clothes, wine and alcohol, and for UPS you can pick up packages here as well as use the photo studio booth for photo pick ups at the counter. If the line is long with the cashiers, there are 2 clean and bright self checkout registers which are really nice. This pharmacy has one of the rudest pharmacist I have ever encountered. She put minimum effort into being kind to a patient. We literally came straight from the ER and stopped by quickly to pick up meds on the way home. My mom was in severe pain and could barely walk. When I explained the situation and asked, 'She is in a lot of pain and can't walk much, do you have a chair I can borrow?' she just pointed way across the room and dismissively said, 'The chair is over there.' She didn't even care to look at a patient who was clearly struggling. Later, her response was even worse: 'I told you it's going to be another 30 minutes, I just came from giving four shots, GO HAVE A SEAT! Of course, pharmacies get busy and things are hectic, but acts like you care would be nice. It's not about waiting or being busy; it's about being compassionate. It's not what you say, it's the tone and how you say it. My mom was sweet about it, but I cannot stand by while someone speaks to her in that tone while she is in pain. To the pharmacist (long black hair, wearing glasses): I hope you have a better day tomorrow so you can treat patients with more kindness than you did today. I absolutely love this place. Everyone here is so welcoming, and the entire team is incredibly kind. Patty, the beauty stylist (if I'm not mistaken), is especially amazing--she's always friendly, warm, and such a pleasure to talk to. Today when I walked in, she even had these adorable little mini beauty gift sets for me, which I absolutely loved--it was such a thoughtful and cute touch. There is always a HUGE line at the pharmacy so if you want to wait 40 minutes in line, you're in luck! Also, when you call the pharmacy you can almost never reach an actual person. You have to leave a voicemail so THEY can call YOU back. Frankly this is all UNACCEPTABLE. read more

This pharmacy deserves zero stars. Trying to help my dad get all his meds. One of them was out of stock. Trying to get this medication ordered and filled was like pulling teeth. You have to listen to 20 minutes of that annoying voice recording before you ever speak to a human, and one of the people i spoke to was exceptionally rude and gave me the wrong information. She told me the medicine was ordered and should arrive on a Friday. Well Friday comes around and no meds. Horrible, horrible, horrible experience of all time. Unprofessional childish cashiers like they are in the high school hanging out together rather than providing service any customer deserves! Inpatient manager to help customers for finding the products my fiancé and I were looking for. She was even somewhat RUDE! The whole store needs to be retrained and also be trained on having a decent common sense to provide basic standards of customer service. 3 employees walking around pretending to work and stocking while 7-8 customers are waiting to pay for their purchases. A good manager will open 4 registers as there are at least 4 employees on the floor rather than leaving one almost the slowest cashier to help customers. After all we are purchasing and we have many things to do and do not deserve to wait to receive service and get of the store to take care of other things. If I could give Zero stars, I would. One of the worst Customer Service experiences I have ever had. My Wife went to purchase a $200 gift card, the lady at the counter first told her, money was not taken out. My Wife checked her Bank account right then and there and showed her proof that CVS has withdrawn $200 but for some reason the gift card didn't have the $200 available. The lady at the counter picked up the phone and not communicating with us what's the next step. All of sudden, the Manager comes, his name is Donnie. He just came over didn't say a single word, starts touching his screen and then says "put your card in", mind you, we still don't know what's going on. My Wife proceeds to tell him, you already took out $200 and Donnie responds with an attitude, I am giving you the money back. He could have said I am sorry, the gift card didn't work and I am refunding the money back to you. He didn't. So he does give the money back and we are awaiting on them about the gift card resolution. My Wife asks, so what about the gift card, and Donnie with a big attitude says, well, go get one. He could've told us, please get another figt card as the one we tried before it's not working. But he did not. We just left. This is the last time my Wife shops there and it was one of her favorites CVS. Donnie needs some Customer Service training along with communication training as well. read more

This is a highly positive review for Jessica, the pharmacist. She assisted me yesterday with getting medication for my young daughter. Due to my error, I forgot to refrigerate the medication. Therefore, I returned the following morning to discuss my options and found Jessica working again. She recognized me and stepped away from her work and helped me. She addressed my questions and concerns while successfully implemented a plan to get the medication. Working in the healthcare field myself, the last few years has not been easy. After another 15 minutes a woman with a sharp tongue answered. I told her I'm in pain and need to know if the prescription was filled. Horrible CVS . Employees are untrained and not suitable to work at the store . Takes forever to have something taken out of the glass case . I then wait in line to pay and only after the transaction is done do they tell me they can't possibly do that transaction at that register . I am then asked to take my ID , sign information and wait for a code from the manager . Then I am asked to get back in line behind everyone else . I expressed my frustration with the cashier then they decide to whisper about me on the way out . I tell them that they were totally wrong at which time I can no longer have a conversation because one cashier is a child .
