The customer service at the pharmacy here is just terrible. More particularly when the older ladies are there. The younger girls are at least nice and help with a smile but the older women that work here wow.... just stone cold ice. No smiles no pleases or thank yous just ice queens. Also the wait time is almost always more than double than what they'll tell you and they messed up my prescription order 3 times. They don't communicate and they don't listen.... very frustrating! I suggest going elsewhere. Two stars because the other girls were nice as well as a gentle man that helped me. They are a store yet they refuse to open their cash register to process transactions. I was told that if I wanted to make a purchase that I MUST use the self checkout. I told the gal to scan it for me and put in the money and hand me the receipt or provide me with a discount. She scanned it but refused to take my $. My purchase was for some Biden butter ($7.09!). I left $8 on the self checkout and left. The old manager lady ran out of the store after me telling me never to come back. So I responded "call corporate? OK!!". It's not the dmv just bc the name has a v in it. Let's stop reinventing the wheel and treat customers with respect since they are the reason we have jobs. You see all the 1 stars below me. 100% spot on. And the people leaving 5 stars have to be staff or family. I stopped coming here years ago do to the absolute horrible service and rude staff. Had to come back today because they were the only place in town with my prescription in stock. Nothing has changed. All the staff is rude and acts as if you showing up there has ruined their day. Irene at the register hates her job and has no business dealing with customers. Even if you are friendly to her, she is miserable back. I have dealt personally with all 4 pharmacists and never had a good experience with any of them. "Jan" the lead pharmacist is referenced in a review below and it's spot on! He is rude, easily irritated, and talks to people like they are idiots. Came in to pick up some lipgloss as a little way to brighten my day. Store was large and well maintained. Maybe a bit understaffed but everyone was friendly and helpful. There were tons of carts when I went and I felt it was no worse then anywhere else. I wanted to sign up for a CVS card but was told to use my new card 3 times which means I will have to go back in. I know I was being put off but it was a bit busy and I didn't relish the thought of anyone waiting for me to sign up for a card. read more

Eight different phone numbers and two days of wasted time. I also found out their markup was 300 percent more than other pharmacies charges if paying out of pocket. Recently, while working on a job in Fallbrook, my coworker smashed his finger with a sledgehammer. When he was at urgent care they offered to give him something for the pain, but because he had a long drive home, he simply asked for a prescription for some pain meds so he could take them once he got home. Not knowing the area well, we saw a CVS and decided to go there to get the prescription filled. Biggest. Mistake. EVER. I turned the prescription in for my friend because he was really dizzy and I explained that we were trying to get out of there as quickly as possible because all my friend wanted to do was get home so he could finally take something for the pain. I also explained how he got injured. The lady behind the counter didn't give a rat's rear end and just snarled at me saying because it was a schedule 3 drug it would take some time. So I sat down next to my buddy to wait. As I was waiting, I began to realize why it was taking so long: it appeared to me that the pharmacist was sampling the drugs instead of filling them. As someone who grew up in the 70s, I swear I've never seen someone so wasted. An hour and a half later, I went back up to the counter and asked if the prescription was ready yet and gently reminded them how long it had been. This really pissed off the woman behind the counter and she snottily asked me if I was telling her how to do her job. Umm, no. Had I been telling her how to do her job, we would have had the prescription filled an hour ago and been home by now! There are other options near this CVS and I highly recommend you choose one of those over them. read more

I waited in line for a long time to ask the pharmacist if it was safe to take Claritin while breastfeeding, she seemed annoyed with my question and answered "I think so" and walked away. This place is due for a face lift. It still looks and smells the same as when I was a kid haha. If you are looking for beer, go to rite aid. These guys are always a couple to a few bucks pricier. Lines are usually pretty long, staff is nice and polite unlike previous years. Usually only come here on rare occasions. I made a Yelp account just to say how horrid this places pharmacy is. The tall skinny Drop off kid last name I think was Lopez was the rudeist "pharmacist" I have ever encountered. He doesn't even look at you. He has me wait 30 minutes in the store.....just to tell me "oh yeah I need your insurance card." Then tells me it is only medical. I ask if he could call my insurance to see if I have persrciptions covered he just says no it's not our fault. I go to Wal-Greens right up the street the lady gets me my prescription in 10 mins. If it were possible to give no stars, that's how many I would give them. They often have only part of your prescription available, requiring you to make a second trip. I have called repeatedly ahead of time to make sure my prescription is ready and when I get there it has not been ready. I am switching every prescription my family has to another pharmacy. read more

This pharmacy is seriously incredible! Haw can you offer delivery service and only have it 3 days a week for a couple hours and have the driver be on vacation ALL the time, if this is even true, at least have a back up driver! I hate how most of the people who work in the pharmacy are SUPER rude. working for a community where the patients rely on their medications it's disgusting how a pharmacy can not realize how important it it for these people to have their medications, and its not like orders are placed without ample time YOUR label says 3 days for refills so how is it that when we call with a week left it still doesn't get filled in time? I have had nothing but problems from this pharmacy. Unfortunately my choices are slim in this town. Although there are a couple of good employees most are rude and don't care! I was out of my meds that I requested a refill on yesterday and it was still showing in process tonight but I am out so I brought my empty pill bottle with me to see what the problem is since I have to take tonight! I got "we are out of that med right now" when I asked why and what am I supposed to do the girl just shrugged and said "I don't know" then when she asked the pharmacist she said "we are not out of it the manufacturer is" so that helps me how? Then they said if I transfer to another pharmacy they said they would not be able to fill it there anymore! This is the umpteenth time I have had a problem and they just don't care. Twice I've been to this CVS, and twice I've left severely disappointed. My first visit took 45 minutes for one medication to be processed while the other had to be ordered; they claimed it would arrive in two days. They didn't even call my name on the P.A. to let me know my medication was ready for pickup. Upon returning two days later, they still hadn't recieved the essential medication I needed (they didn't give me a reason why it wasn't there), leaving me to deal with hellish witdrawals, I had to wait over an hour for another antibiotic which was said to be ready in 15 minutes and that they'd call my name over the P.A., which they neglected to do so yet again. So now I'm suffering on their behalf and waiting for my medication to come in. Once I have it I'll have it I'll be ordering from Rite Aid from now on. Better service there. read more

Pharmacy is a joke without a punchline. Due to recent layoffs and cutbacks at work hours have caused serious problems with staff, forcing them to work harder only to create mistakes that have plagued them for the past 6 months. So often the case with franchise operations like CVS, Walgreens etc. I have discovered that Village Pharmacy on East Elder is a much better operation with a staff that works hard and cares about you. read more
