So, I stopped in at Fred Meyers in Snohomish yesterday. Here's my review…read more.. I was INUNDATED with...wait for it...nice and helpful employees. Yep. Okay, I admit, this is not exactly breaking news for those of us who shop here on a regular basis but that doesn't mean it doesn't need to be noticed. For example, let's talk about Kathy at the seafood and meat counter. There was this lovely customer in one of the little motorized shopping carts who needed assistance and Kathy was incredibly kind and helpful. I know, I know, that's her job, but she did it with a smile and a lot of patience. How cool is that? She also made sure to acknowledge me, and other customers as they approached, to make sure we knew she saw us. Like they say, it is the littlest things that are so appreciated. My checker, May, was a sweetheart; helpful, friendly and super-efficient. We got through almost the entire order, and I realized I had forgotten my ID in my truck (apparently 60-ish is the new 21 Hahahaha but having owned a C-Store I have no problem with following a protocol that can be quite expensive if not followed). She could not have been more understanding, pausing my order as I dashed outside to fetch it. No rolling of eyes, no judgement, just a "customer-first/no problem" attitude. And, as I was heading out with my wildly full cart, I couldn't help but notice this gal (I found out her name was "Bella" from Elly, another delightful employee at customer service) who was happily dashing between checkout stands helping bag groceries wherever she was needed. It goes without saying (but it shouldn't) that their produce is fantastic. Their fresh flowers are gorgeous. The Copper River salmon I bought from Kathy was incredible...I could go on and on. Oh, and the lavender plants they had out front for $8.99 a piece? WOW! YAY! I know I can forget how much work it takes to make a big store like Fred Meyers run well. I also believe it is proof positive of great management within that store when it does. Employees who trust in their bosses work harder. It's just human nature. We are blessed to have this particular store in our town. Go there, you will agree.

I would never recommend working at this Grocery Outlet. The management treats employees very…read moreunfairly and with little respect. Instead of supporting their staff and helping them succeed, they put unrealistic expectations on employees and then punish them when they can't meet them. It creates a toxic and discouraging work environment where people don't feel valued. No one should be treated this way, especially when they are new and still learning. The way the manager handles situations shows a complete lack of professionalism and compassion. Grocery Outlet needs to take a serious look at how their managers treat their teams, because good employees are being driven away.

The location is especially convenient if we also want to go to the Navy Exchange looking for presents or just general shopping. The store itself is clearly laid out, easy to navigate, and items are well priced. Produce has been fresh in my experience and the dairy offerings varied. In addition to more standard grocery items, we have come here to get ingredients for holiday meals and they typically have what we are looking for. Check-out operates quickly even when there is a long line with lots of items in each cart.

Their prices were reasonable by convenience store standards, including their gas. I got $20 worth at $2.85/gallon of regular. I decided to give them a good Yelp also since they did not hassle me about being parked in front of the mini strip mall (which included their store) while eating, and composing the Yelp review for Superhawk Canopies. Kudos also to the rest of the strip mall businesses for the same reason. And therefore (see photo) I decided to give them all a shout out.

They're very polite and always professional to me. They fill medications I can't get mailed to me or that I want to pickup right away. I am very thankful to have them nearby my home. They are helping to get my health back on track. The only thing I can say that would improve is the removal of the cardboard endcaps with various non-pharmacy related stuff which are acting as crowd chokepoints. The store usually has the same trouble, but people are always doing their level best to help. Deeply appreciative to have you in the neighborhood, thanks for doing what you do.

The tech & the pharmacist yelled at my minor son after gaslighting about a prescription for my heart they said they would fill! Told us to come back in 15 minutes we show back up & that very two pharmacist & tech that told him to come back & it would be ready no problem looked us in our face and said we never told u you can fill it! "You probably took all your meds of 90 day supply in 30 of your heart medicine" "You're crazy! We don't want you hear! Go away! You are crazy! Loud & ghetto! We think you lost it!" I was baffled at the comments which are all recorded on my phone via audio as they were yelling at us gaslighting us, telling us we are "crazy in the head" the overweight brown haired white young woman then proceeded to tell me I'm fat & look at u!" When I tell u I was floored at this disrespectful mouth the both of them had all because they have a old none accurate medication on file they claim I took to much of!!!??? My daughter has several different prescriptions on file that are all active i recently moved back in the area this week, I use a few other Safeway pharmacy locations due to hardship & transportation issues! My son & I were so confused so we're a few witnesses who were watching while hearing them berate us for 10 minutes straight on camera!!!!!!!! They finally admitted they could fill it however said I have no refills, we show proof of the refills then they screamed at my son and I saying "fine then pay cash then!" I said huh?! I don't understand why we are being treated like this over a heart medicine! They then threatened to call the store manager we stepped out while waiting for the prescription that they said would be done a hour before no problem! My son comes back in to grab it, a large security guard & Safeways store manager confront my son & say "you guys are not allowed back here for treating our staff badly yelling at them! My son said "excuse me it was actually the other way around, they screamed my mom & I called us names, said we are crazy! Screaming my mom's information all through the back of store causing a seen breaking HIPPA law" the store manager looks and says "is that a threat? You're gonna tell on me" directly intimidating my minor son all while not backing the customer at all! The tech with the terrible nasty mouth refuses to give me her name & the pharmacist yelled behind her I'm not giving you my name either!! Then I was told by the tech "I will call the cops & u will not like that! Don't want to be like recent people in the news" I am a person of color, specifically a black woman! Her saying that and a customer hearing that really made me sick! We all know what she's referring to! It has been national news! This was terrible! I am filling a lawsuit against her & the store corporation, the direct store manager, the pharmacy, pharmacist, & the two techs! You as a store manager didn't even listen to the customer! She saw me on my knee crutch and instantly stopped and made sure I could navigate thru without falling on the wet floor. She got me my cup, and waited to finish until I had cleared the area. She was very friendly with everyone that was coming thru the door. She deserves 5 stars for sure. They still don't have the long lines like Safeway, so that's a good thing.
