Do not come to the CVS at Fremont Boulevard
    Syed A.

This place is suck. The CVS pharmacy is suck. There's a Chinese doctor that doesn't know anything about scription when I see him today. I feel like he was falling asleep because he never had a sleep before and his attitude is very bad. Disgusting. I recommend do not come to this pharmacy. Fremont hub is the best CVS they have.

Its been awhile I have been here, maybe months.... but recently I have gone a couple of times at this location after the gym to pick up a few things and wow they have remodeled this place with new isles and it looks more organized as well. Looks like they have items / products too that they never carried. I am very much impress. And they've got good deals "sometimes" haha.

One gentleman has already been waiting for an out and eventually left in frustration. Attempting to remain calm and not allow this to ruin my evening I had to by something and the lady at the register... no customer service skills whatsoever! I tried to lighten the mood with chit chat and the importance for customer service and she said "good for you". Wow! If I acted like that towards guests... well, I'd be unemployed. So sad!

Dear Walgreens Customer Service / Pharmacy Management,…read more I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I received at your pharmacy location during my recent visits. On my most recent visit, I was waiting in line to pick up my prescription. When I reached the counter, I encountered a staff member who I understood to be a manager. Unfortunately, the interaction was unprofessional and unhelpful. I requested assistance in transferring my prescription so that it could be filled through Amazon Pharmacy for convenience. However, instead of assisting with a straightforward transfer process, I was told that I would need to complete a lengthy form. The staff member did not provide any supportive guidance or attempt to help facilitate the process, even though this appears to be a simple internal system action on your end. During the interaction, I also felt that the tone used toward me was disrespectful and dismissive. I was informed that there were many other customers waiting and that there was no time to assist me properly. This was said in a manner that I found sarcastic and unprofessional. I would also like to note that this is not my first visit regarding the same issue. On a previous occasion, I was informed that my medication was not fully available, and I was again required to complete additional steps myself in order to resolve the issue. Overall, the experience has been inconvenient and not patient-friendly. As a patient/customer, I expected a higher standard of service, especially when dealing with prescription medications, where efficiency and clarity are important. A simple prescription transfer request should not become a repeated and burdensome process for the customer. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed, and that staff training be reinforced to ensure patients are treated with professionalism, respect, and appropriate assistance in the future. I would also appreciate clarification on the correct and simplest process for transferring prescriptions to another pharmacy in situations like this.

This isn't the only thing I want to talk about. I heard that they're making big changes here. I saw that they closed their Starbucks as well as other sections from the store with white curtains or something. They moved some of the refrigerators to do the renovations I think. Also, some parts of the areas were quite empty. I wonder what the big changes are but I don't think much is really going to change anyways. I think they should start stocking up electronics and their accessories again, but I don't think that will happen. Target has really changed. Back then, there were many electronics. Now, it's nearly empty probably because most people shop online nowadays.

This used to be 24 hrs back in the day, but those days are behind us. Their hours are still pretty generous tho like 7 am to 11 pm. If I do venture in here, I'll try and do it early am like 9am as to avoid most of the crowd and chaos. I usually stay away from any food shopping here, unless there is a sale up front like bananas or juice that I can quickly grab without going down a food aisle. There's no meat counter/section here but there are reach in fridges with some prepackaged stuff. And because this is Union City, I amusingly find Filipino products here that I'm sure aren't at other locations. I usually come here for big bags of charcoal. They have a great selection from briquets to natural mesquite to pellets. They are all in the gardening section on a massive rack. And they will be at a price that is better than most, which Walmart is actually beneficial for. I'll also grab outdoor/work clothes here. For those occasions when I'm planning on getting clothes wrecked like for camping/working in the yard/home improvement projects. The nature of the store is evolving, in that more and more things are locked up. Which is a sad commentary on our society actually. Socks, belts, even toothpaste can be locked up, and to find someone to open a case up is usually more cumbersome than it has to be. Which is why 1-2 times a year for a few specific things is more than enough for me. See ya after Labor Day when my dual bag of charcoal needs to be replenished.

That was pretty bad but I let it go and figured I'd just pick it up the next week. When I came back a week later all the same expired items were still there. Not acceptable. I let an employee know and they said "oh sorry". This is not an isolated incident. We find expired items often. They've also been out of paper bags the last two weeks. They haven't put up any signs or anything to give customers a heads up, so when I approached the register last week with my full cart I had no choice but to buy more of their reusable bags because I had forgotten mine at home. A week later they were still out of paper bags. I brought my own, but still no heads up until after I had unloaded my cart at the register. I mentioned to the cashier that they were out of bags the week before as well and she didn't know what I was talking about. They also seem to no longer help people bag their groceries. They will scan all your items and then just watch you pack them up, or they just start scanning the next customers items and mixing their stuff with your own items. This backs up the line at the register and makes everything go slower. Today while I packed my bags and the employee at the register stood there watching me, I asked if they had a new policy to no longer assist with bagging the groceries. I thought perhaps it was a holdover from COVID which would have made some sense. The employee said "Oh...uh..." and helped put the last two items in a bag, but did not answer my question. There was another recent incident when a manager came to the cashier and told them they needed to take a break after they helped me (that's fine, workers deserve their breaks). The customer behind me had already unloaded their cart and asked "What about me". The manager just said "You'll need to move" and walked away without offering to help them do so. I've worked at Target myself and in roles with other retail companies. I understand the challenges placed on stores by the executive class and poorly behaved customers that makes good service more difficult than it aught to be. But this location underperforms in ways it should not.
