The pharmacy closes midday for lunch yet it still tells you your prescription is ready via text and app. Why can't the pharmacy hire enough employees to alternate lunch breaks? The hours of operation also don't reflect them being closed midday. Why text me my prescription is ready only for me to arrive 10 minutes later and they're closed? I asked an employee about it as it was an urgent prescription for our newborn and she said "maybe you should go to the hospital then no exceptions." This was rude and condescending considering she has no idea if we just came from the hospital and this is what the doctor prescribed upon discharge. Closing midday during prime time doesn't make any sense. read more

I've been doing business here for years and have occasionally had run ins with one of the pharmacists, Diana. She can be rude and 'snappy' , seeming to take issue at simple questions that I ask as a layman. This time put me over the edge. My husband had knee replacement in NYC the day before, and on the way home we stopped to get his pain meds. She told me they were out of stock, I'd have to come back tomorrow. I told her this was a big problem as he was in bad pain from the 3 hr trafficky ride home. She told me I'd have to have a new rx sent to another pharmacy, she could not transfer the rx, but had no contact info for the next CVS in Northport, and she had no way to look it up. I left, very upset. My daughter happened call me and told me that was untrue. She was nearby so she came by, still dressed in her scrubs after work as a health care professional , went into the pharmacy and spoke to Diana who replied that she had to check, they may have gotten some in. Sure enough, I had the pain meds in my hand in 10 mins. This whole thing transpired in about 15-20 mins. That had to be some quick delivery. I don't know why she chose to withhold meds from my husband in pain. I am not a nasty person, and was calm and polite when I went in. I just know that I'm switching to another pharmacy, I have no time for games when it comes to health matters. This CVS is in awful condition, the employees and regional management clearly do not care at all about this store. Merchandise items all over the place, floor is dirty, service is slow, always long lines. I don't understand why anyone would come here/give this location any business. I don't blame the employees either- this is leadership's fault. Whoever oversees this region of stores should be embarrassed. I'm only here bc my mom is too stubborn to switch to Value Drugs across the street. That must be how they stay in business- relying on the fact their elderly customers don't like to change their habits. read more

This is the most inefficient cvs pharmacy I have ever been to. Ever. Single. Time. I come here to pick up a prescription the line is all the way down the isles. I have waited 30+ minutes for medicine each time. The people working on the desks are rude and in my opinion failing at their job. This is the last time I will make this mistake and will be taking my business elsewhere. If you don't have time to waist on a line for 30+ minutes for a prescription do not send them here. As I watched the vaccines being administered I realized that the way they had a lack of space so they crammed in the chairs which then couldn't possibly give Bob (the shot man) to get in the right angle to administer the vaccine. I took a pass on the vaccine from this place and as I was walking out I heard the last four people complaining that this vaccine shot hurt so much compared to the first ones they got which they didn't feel. Take a pass on this disorganized place. I'm a senior citizen with minor stomach issues. All the products i use that help me are now sold only in blister packs, which I cannot open. I've cut myself many times attempting to open them. I always buy the large size of items I use since I have trouble opening jars and bottles. Many seniors have problems with their hands. I've never had a bad experience at a CVS until I came here. I went to pick up two prescriptions that my doctor told me she called in and asked to be filled ASAP because of how sick I was. She told me they were filling them right away and to go once I left. So I did. When I got there the girl behind the counter said they were not filled and when I asked if my doctor called she responded "yes, but she doesn't work here does she? We get to them when we can." Being as sick as I am, I decided it wasn't worth it, and I left, deciding I would come back later to pick them up. Two hours later, I got a phone call that my scripts were ready, so I headed over. The man who was helping me said I had only one script (I had two). So he said they didn't realize I had another one and made me consult with the pharmacist about it because they "couldn't find" the other one???? Eventually he found it in the system, still don't know how he could have "lost" it in the first place. Anyway- he filled out the paperwork for it (10 minutes of me standing there) for him to tell me that first of all it isn't covered under my insurance and I would need to pay full price, and that second of all he needs 45 minutes to make it. So aggravating when you have a very high fever, haven't slept, and on top of it- are being treated rudely. Normally I'd say it's fine, because everyone has bad days- but two mistakes in one day, with no apology was enough for me. I'm changing my pharmacy. Adios CVS read more

I always hate having to go here. I don't even really blame the employees as much as there must be some really bad leadership. There's barely anyone working there every time I've went lately, they have a lot of issues with keeping things in stock, and the store is just messy. Hard pass on going here. read more

Employees are aggressively rude, not helpful, and aren't aware of services provided by CVS (like Express Delivery, which I've used several times! Conveniently located near my home, huge parking lot with easy entry, easy exit right off broadway. Don't remember ever not having what I needed. Serves it's purpose! Ok so I don't write too many reviews but I felt that this CVS deserved recognition. I just happened to be around the area today for lunch and noticed a CVS so I decided to stop in for one item. I ended up spending 20 minutes in the store because I've never seen such an extensive selection of products in any pharmacy in my life.. and I'm a drug store shopping addict to the fullest lol. The place was immaculate- everything was organized, super clean and stocked to the fullest capacity. I saw brands and items I've never seen before. Even the staff were so friendly and seemed happy to be there. One guy was walking around asking if customers needed help. Then when I told the cashier how nice the store was - she said the manager is meticulous about keeping it clean and he is great to work for. Well, it shows!! Sounds like this manager is very talented and I honestly won't even use any other drug store after this experience. It makes you realize what you've been missing all along. Terrible pharmacy. Since we switched from Mid-Village after it closed, CVS has failed to fulfill a single prescription on time from any provider for any member of our family. The staff does not alert you to issues completing the prescriptions. It is impossible to reach a pharmacist. I highly recommend switching to Value Drugs across the street. read more

My parents have used this pharmacy for decades. The place makes me crazy. When you are there in person in a long line, all you hear is 'one pharmacy call' on the loudspeaker, meaning that although 2 pharmacists and several assistants are working hard, there is a line of people and a queue on the phone also. Perhaps more staff-- or how about rethinking the processes so that the staff can perform more functions and there is not a separate line for every little thing? Oh-- and a tracking system. They swear they called the doc about a refill on Monday, but there's no record of it, and today is Wednesday-- why wouldn't they call again, or let us know the doc wasn't responding? And what happened to the auto refill program that her meds are on? They call us every month about meds she has told them repeatedly that she no longer takes! But the ones she needs they aren't filling unless we show up, discover it is not ready,and then go over to the drop off line, and then wait an hour. We got a robocall, but for someone on multiple meds there is no way to find out which Med they are calling us about. And it took multiple times of reminding until they put regular caps on the meds (no kids in the house). Today I stood on line 4 times over 2 trips and still left without the Med My mother needed. Finally they called 6 hours later to say it's ready, and when I asked about delivery-- I have to go in to set up home delivery. Honestly. I spoke to the manager earlier today. He was nice but clearly had no say over what goes on in the pharmacy. Not sure what the alternative is anymore-- but avoid this one if you can. read more
