My first time to this cvs pharmacy and the Asian pharmacist by the first initial of her name "V" was very unfriendly and rude. I was in line, didn't know which line to go to since there were two people before me. I was hoping for the pharmacist assistant to help me next because I saw how nice she was to the first customer. Unluckily me, that B-face V called me to the window to the far left and I told her that I have a prescription, she then told me, "this is the wrong window, you need to go over there" (pointing her finger to the window located far right), I went to the "drop off" window and she put on her white coat and took my prescription and told me the estimate of the co-pay. She needs to change her attitude or she would chase customers away and I'm not going back to this pharmacy. I'm sure I can find another pharmacy with friendlier pharmacist that is more sincere and friendlier to help their customers. read more

I asked her why she didn't have them on and she just shrugged her shoulders. I then talked to Charlyn the cashier and told her how upset I was. I told her I am 83 and if I get the virus, I will probably die and why were they not protecting their customers. She said that there was not much she could do. I later at home, called CV's and wanted to talk to the manager which turned out to be Charlyn. I told her I wanted to talk to Corporate and she gave me a number which turned out to be the pharmacy. Horrible customer service!!! It's pretty important that a pharmacy can get your prescriptions filled in a timely manner. Not here! You're lucky if they get filled at all. Busy signals for hours, 20+ minute hold times, and hang ups. Or you might have to drive an hour out of your way to another location because they don't have your meds!!! Or you get notified when your prescriptions are ready and they give you one. Notify you again the same day that 2 others are ready. Get your shit together! Wtf!!! This review is only for the drive thru Covid testing. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning to this location for any future Covid testing needs. Easy making an appointment online. Lots of availability of times. The entire process from the time I pulled up to the drive thru from when I was driving away was 20 minutes. Received my results in less than 48 hours. Easy access to the patient portal to view results. They even sent out a text to let you know the results were in and could easily be read and downloaded into a pdf. Prepare to have your patience tested.Whenever my prescription gets sent in by my physician, they do not start working on refilling it until I have to call them to remind them. I know they have the prescription because whenever I call the pharmacy line they tell me my prescription is in progress. This can go in for days. I usually wait a few hours before I give them a call about my refill because I do understand that it can take time to fill and I understand pharmacies are very busy. I was actually orient enough to wait 3 days before finally calling. Also, right now they have two lanes at the pharmacy, the left is for COVID testing and the right is for all other pharmacy needs. Do not even bother coming here. I've been coming here for years and the last time I was here was the final straw. Never coming back here again. They will always try to charge you money even though I have to remind them every single time insurance does cover them! I've been coming here for years and they still treat me like a stranger. I don't even know who hires who and why do they hire people that just came fresh out of pharmacy school or whatever they studied at? They are trained to know medicines yes but if you're working in a pharmacy, they should get trained on bedside manners and how to work around problems like this instead of giving an "uhhh" and "okay" answers. This man was waiting for maybe half an hour and the clock hits closing time, she's all like nope. We're closed. I'm like are you serious? This guy has been waiting!! She was so so rude and I thought was selfish for not helping that poor man out, a couple minutes after closing time? The hiring manager should re-evaluate that woman working there. This guy Andrew was totally clueless about my meds being covered, he was just like, oh well that's what the system says. He did nothing to help out not even a suggestion. He just stood there acting all clueless. I wanted to scream but had to stay cool. Also, i just came in for eye drops and the same Andrew told me two days ago they'd have it ready the day for me after so I came in thinking I can just pick them up but turns out nope. I've been coming here for awhile now. There is almost always a min 15 minute wait even just to pick up a refill. Took me two weeks to get my birth control. Told me my insurance didn't cover it but I called my insurance and they said no one had even tried to run it. Came in multiple times and kept getting denied. I finally just got the insurance lady on the phone and had the technician talk to her. Finally got something figured out, THEY were supposed to send the Dr. a form and they were running my insurance wrong. Came back to pick up my prescription for the 5th time and they said I was denied again. My insurance is ACTIVE. These people don't know what they doing. And every single person is soooo rude!! When I arrived they told me that not only was my insurance not covering my medicine but also said I had no insurance at all .. After telling them that they must have the wrong person or have entered the wrong information, because I did in fact have insurance, they were unsympathetic and answered no, we checked, how would you like to pay? When I asked them to call my insurance company, they said here's the number, do it yourself. The entire staff watched me with tears of stress and embarrassment filling my eyes. No one said sorry. They simply said, next and moved on to their next customer. I called my insurance company, put them on speaker so they could hear everything that was being said. Amber was very unwelcoming. I was the only person in the store. She was unpacking something as I was walked by. I said hello to get her attention and let her know I was ready to check out. No hello in return but..."you can use the self check out." Because I had alcohol I let her know I was not able to. So she came over to the register and let out a big huff as if I was disturbing her. Not even a thank you after the transaction. Maybe she had a long day, or has personal issues. But also working in customer service I know these issues need to be left at the door. Amber, a supervisor at this CVS, is a courteous, solutions-oriented, customer service professional. Someone dropped the ball with my photo product order. Mistakes happen. It's how a company handles it that makes all the difference. When one of the employees kept repeating blame that was irrelevant and made no sense, I myself failed to bite my tongue and snapped back. It was already long-delayed, I was in a time crunch and had biked over there just for the pickup. At that point I just wanted to know what's the quickest easiest fix so that I can be on my way. But Amber maintained courteous composure and focused on several options. She also called and left a voicemail to confirm the steps she had taken after I left and I really appreciated the follow-through. If you want to be infuriated and full of rage over important things like your prescriptions, come here! The dmv operates smoother than this pharmacy. I waited so long for service last night and almost had to leave the store because the heat was so high. Or maybe it was my fever while waiting for my medicine... After seeing how terrible the service was and how people ahead of me were also struggling with getting their needs met in an entirely reasonable time frame like the rest of pharmacies in America, I thought I'd be nice and tell them to take their time filling my rx, and that I would be back the next day to pick up instead. Wouldn't you know, the next night I stood at the counter waiting for someone to greet me. When she finally did finish talking to her coworker, she asked me what my medications were. I told her she should tell me, since I dropped them off to them and I'm not a doctor. I'm just here to pay for them. Then she asked me what they do. I don't know. I'm not a doctor.... is this standard procedure? Then she said they weren't ready but somehow after a days wait I would only have to wait 20 minutes. Doesn't take a genius to figure out why. I'm not terribly sure why CVS hasn't addressed their one star yelp location here, but do yourselves a favor and skip this one, and head over to target 5 minutes away. I have nothing personal against ladies who work here, but management coaching needs to happen or whatever the company is doing to harbor this environment. The guy in front of me is shouting "they make you work for it around here!" Lastly, the bathroom code would probably work if their keypads were on...yeash. One star though! I registered online for a COVID-19 test at CVS. Test was scheduled for 11:40 A.M. The on-line instructions state to follow the COVID instructions posted at the location. I arrived at the location and no sign or instructions are posted. I went inside to ask where to go. They told me to go to the drive thru. I went to the first drive thru lane and waited 20 mins. I then tried the 2nd drive thru lane and was told I needed to be in the first lane. By the time I got back around to the first lane another car had pulled in. There is not a single sign posted on premises informing people where to go to receive the test. Test was given at least 35 mins late. read more

Worst Pharmacy ever! They sold me a glucometer reader which I don't need if I have a smart phone. You download the app for free and it will read your sensor. They failed to inform the customer about that because they want to get rid of their glucometer reader, this is straight up Pharmaceutical Robbery!!! I went back the following day after finding out and they don't want to take my equipment back even though it's still sealed and unopened because it's "a prescription". This pharmacy won't get away from this because I'm going to talk to a lawyer to protect consumer just like me from getting rob from this BS policy that they have! How could you sell an expensive product and don't have any clue about it and refused to take it back if the consumer doesn't need because you failed to mention that there's an app for free yet you decide to bill my insurance and get a high co pay from me for a product that I don't need coz there's a free app alternative? Straight up sneaky staff and bad business... trying to Rob people with their eyes wide open! Incompetent staff and the Pharmacy manager needs to get fired if she doesn't know the product that they are selling. She should be aware of what the product is for and at least inform the consumer about the alternative! It's for profit business, what a scam! Walgreens are better at least they are upfront with their customer and tell u don't need the reader if you have a smart phone. Horrible service.....it's worth the trip to go to another CVS or pharmacy. I pulled up to the drive up window, the automated voice came on and stated that someone would be with me "shortly". After about ten minutes and the car behind me driving off, I pushed the button for service again, a lady answered with "I will be there in a minute". Another 15 minutes go by, and another two cars behind me leave. I push the button again, same lady "I will be right there"......a few minutes later......zoom zoom I was out to another CVS and was helped right away. This pharmacy, CVS on the corner of McFadden & Goldenwest is HORRIBLE! I went as a new customer taking an almost empty bottle of meds with me to get a refill on a tues late afternoon. I told them there were no refills at the pharmacy on-line that I had been using and they would need to contact my doctor for a new prescription. Obviously, he wasn't listening because he didn't even ask for my Dr info and it wasn't on the bottle. I offered my doctors info and reminded him again that I have no more refills and he needs to contact the doctor. I also advised him that I only had 7 nights left of medication. By Saturday I still had not heard anything so I drove there and the same person came to the window. After stumbling around he said, "Oh I tried to contact the pharmacy and their phone was busy!" I will call back Monday and try the pharmacy again. I said, I told you I have no more refills and to contact the doctor! I advised him I am down to only a few nights medication!!! He responded that they will contact first thing Monday morning and should be done sometime on Monday. Monday on my way home from work I called again because I didn't received a call back. The person who answered said they didn't have a prescription for me and it appeared they called the pharmacy last week but couldn't get a hold of them. Obviously, extremely irritated, I told them that I have told the same person over and over to call the Dr!!!! I said, I only have 2 night of meds left. They advised they will talk to the person Tuesday and find out if they did contact the Doctor and then contact me. Tuesday morning I called again to make sure they called the doctor. The woman who answered said she still needed to talk to the person who helped me. I said, do you understand I have 1 night of meds left and I came last Tuesday to get this prescription! Shortly after I received a call back stating they called my doctor and the prescription has been delayed by my doctor. I immediately called my doctors office and I know the girl who does prescriptions. They said, yes they just called ( it was the first time, just before I called that they had heard from the pharmacy ). She said I couldn't understand everything they were saying and I asked them to fax in the request since it was a new pharmacy order and they could send the prescription right away. The pharmacy person stated they don't fax request! Therefore, my doctor delayed it needing to contact me to find out what was actually needed and confirm the new pharmacy. At that point I told the doctor, don't send them anything! I called the pharmacy and spoke to (I think) the same original person once again. I told him I was canceling my prescription and he said, ok and hung up after getting my name! They are rude, have beyond horrible business practices and I am filing a complaint with the "Ca State Board of Pharmacy" Maybe an audit will fix this place! They need to correct their business practices or shouldn't be open! I also explained very clearly after talking to them on Monday that I have seizures and can not be without any of my medications because any change of any of my medications can cause me to have another seizure! This was not a seizure med but absolutely can cause seizures by just stop taking it and also causes massive brain shocks! (noted under "warnings" on med) They need to hire some responsible workers who actually care about the customers and their medication because they could possibly cause harm someone by not following through on what they say they are going to do. By the way I went to Walgreens in Fountain Valley who also had to call the doctor and then faxed in the request and they had my medication the next day. By the way for some reason I had to give them 1 star to post this but they deserve none! read more

If I could, I would give this CVS a negative star! Cashier by the name of YVONNE, falsely accused me of "photo copying" my coupons I had while making my purchase today. She looked at my 4 coupons and said clearly "you photo copied these coupons"!! Totally not acceptable and will be coming back tomorrow to speak directly with the manager, show her my coupons I was trying to use for my items and will be calling corporate in the am! This is the first poor review I have ever written because typically, companies work with their customers to improve their service; however, this particular pharmacy has proven to me that they absolutely don't want my repeat business. On 7/5/2019, I called the store, was hung up on three times and was forced to wait on hold for over 83 minutes, only to be told that they couldn't find my refill prescription for Hydrocodone which I took in and gave them in person at least two weeks ago. I insisted that they had the prescription and told them to find it since I was leaving town and would not be able to get another one from my doctor. Wonder of wonders, twenty minutes later, they called back and told me that they had "found" it. (Like I believe that.) Understand that I have used CVS for years and just moved to the area. This store is far and away the WORST customer service I have EVER received from any company BAR NONE!!! Worst customer service possible! I called to ask the pharmacy a prescription question,and was told there were two calls ahead of me. After 16 minutes I called on on a second phone and was told there was two calls ahead of me. Since I was still on hold on the other line, that means they had not answered a call in sixteen minutes, or more likely, they just wait for you to give up and hang up.
