I want to be clear that my review is regarding the store and not the pharmacy. I did not visit the pharmacist and do not have an opinion or review. It's hard to believe how little regard the employees have for their customers. Especially at the front register. I not only experienced it for myself but have also witnessed others being treated terribly. I don't work there which is why I ask you the employee at CVS questions. Why be rude and why do you act inconvenienced? If anyone at corporate has any regard for their customers, I highly recommend a thorough review of your management working there as well as your training program. I will be sharing my experience until I feel satisfied that I have repaid the debt of receiving horrible customer service. read more

As I write this review I have been waiting over 1.5 hours for them to fill a prescription that they quoted me 30 min for. After 50 min of waiting, I Checked and they say only 15 min more "max" now over 30 min later and no prescription. I wish they would just quote accurate wait times so they didn't waste my time. Take whatever they tell you and triple it, then come back to check on it. Actually on second thought you better quadruple it, hopefully then it MIGHT be ready. If you're lucky. read more

This past weekend I had to go to the ER and was given two scripts to get filled, lucky this CVS was open when I had gotten out of the ER.. Which was 2am. Was able to walk right in and get my scripts filled. Took about 15 mins! read more

My 5 stars are solely for one person: Dr. Abraham Inocencio, and not for the pharmacy in general. Last Sunday I woke up with severe neck pain, to the point where I couldn't even turn my head SLIGHTLY without pain. After getting increasingly worse throughout the day, I finally decided to have my boyfriend take me to an urgent care. The doctor prescribed me 5 different medications, and seeing as how it was after 6:00, all of the pharmacies in my area were closed except for this 24 hour one. It was super busy, and we had to wait about 30mins for my prescriptions to be ready, all the while I'm in severe pain. I also had concerns about a specific medicine I was prescribed, because I had adverse reactions to it in the past. When it was finally ready I was so confused about the 5 different medications and wasn't sure if I was allergic to one of them, and coupled with the excruciating pain I was in I even started to cry at the counter, which was humiliating but I quickly reigned it in. Then the pharmacy tech asks if I wanted to do a consultation with the pharmacist, and my answer was obviously yes. And that's where my hero, Dr. Inocencio, emerged to the counter. He answered ALL of my questions and addressed EVERY concern I had, even though the pharmacy was clearly super busy. He took the time to explain each medication and calmed me down a lot. One of my prescriptions wasn't ready yet, and we were told to wait at the counter again. Unfortunately the pharmacy technicians working had sub par customer service skills, and the girl that was supposed to be helping us with my last prescription even walked away from the counter to go on break without even a word, KNOWING that all I had to do was grab my one last prescription. Dr. Inocencio noticed that we were not being helped, and knowing that I was obviously in severe pain and holding my neck he made sure someone else came and helped us right away. So I cannot say enough good things about him in particular, but unfortunately the rest of the pharmacy staff doesn't live up to the same standards. Thank you Dr. Inocencio!!!! read more

Worst service at the pharmacy. This is the third time I have returned to get my prescription order filled in, after I was notified it is ready to be picked up and they still haven't got it ready for me. And the woman is not even apologetic, when I tell her this is the 3rd time I have been asked to come back again when I was notified it was ready she says "This is the best I can do", hey then you shouldn't be doing this. read more

I've been in here more than a few times, usually when they have sth on sale that I need. There was no customer service here , you can't expect the employees to greet you or anything, cuz they don't. But lately, I realize a couple of them would smile at me when I walk in. Twice they even try to start a conversation at the register. New management? Pressure from the bad economy? Last week, there's this very, very old lady on a wheelchair (she said she's 90 years old) fishing in her purse looking for her wallet when I walked in. 10 minutes later, she was still there, looking for change in her wallet. The cashier was helping her , smiling, waiting patiently. All the other customers were very understanding, and told the old lady not to rush (she kept apologizing). I thought that was a really good "moment". Hopefully, the employees will keep up their "better" attitudes and have more to offer than just their great "dollar cash back reward" deal. Very poor Customer Service without a clue as to their inventory, sale and promotional items and just general skill at this CVS not to mention the coupon Machine has been broken for like 3 months at least. Its hard to understand when the other CVS locations are well staffed and their coupon machines are always operational and the staff is very knowledgeable. I moved to Irvine pretty recently and of course got sick yesterday and had to find a CVS. My work is across the street from one so I figured I'd give it a try. I walk in and wait about 5 minutes to get my prescription in. The guy at the counter tells me it will be about 20 minutes to wait. I said I needed to so I decided to hoof it to a near by Hallmark to waste my 20 minutes. I know pharmacy's are always a little longer then they quote so I didn't rush back. I go to the prescription pick up line and it's 8 people long. I'm sure my prescription will be ready since it's now 30 minutes and I have people in front of me. I wait- wait and wait some more as the line has not moved at all. It's taking the clerks about 5 minutes per customer. I'm now in line and it's been 50 minutes since I put my prescription in and I get to the front of the line and of course it's not ready, WTF- a half an hour after the original quote time and it's STILL not ready. Overall from start to finish it took me a good solid hour of breathing in others germs and still feeling dizzy waiting for my meds. I would have been fine if they originally quoted my an hour and not 20 minutes. I'll go back but not without faxing in my order first! read more

The reviews are accurate. They refused to transfer medication, from another CVS that was closed and would not even give medication to last through the night. To top it off, waited in line forever even though there were tons of staff standing around talking to one another. The man who I spoke to was Nick. This man was beyond rude and unhelpful. I have had prescriptions transferred many times. This particular prescription was one that you are not supposed to skip doses as it is very dangerous. No caring or compassion. There was no reason not to transfer this important medication from the other CVS. Will be speaking to their headquarters about this situation. Very sad that this happened. read more

This pharmacy is cuckoo. The guys who take calls in to the pharmacy suck so bad that I drove in while waiting on the phone for them to answer a simple question, is my prescription ready. Parked in front of this store for a minute or two to donate to homeless people about a month ago. I was asking the gentlemen about what he does for the homeless, he is a chef at some homeless shelters. Then I start to hear a loud female voice yelling. I didn't know where it was coming from. I look over to my left and see this woman in her vehicle yelling, "YOU CAN'T PARK HERE!!!" Mind you she said it a couple of times. The guy receiving donations said that was the manager. I didn't want to get him in trouble so I left. First off you are in your civilian clothes, not even working, so try approaching people in a respectful and polite way. Way to use your customer service and common courtesy as a store manager, at least be professional about it. Secondly I was parked there for 2 minutes to donate, don't be a parking Nazi you don't know what someone's situation is. I'm a disabled veteran and I had my dog in the car so, "I'm so sorry that I didn't want to get out of the car for two minutes." Patience is a virtue, respect is a blessing, clearly you don't have those attributes. I have never shopped in this CVS nor will I ever because if they give you attitude like that then you bet your visit inside will be the same. It starts from the management on down. Take some advice, be an example for your team and be a little more patient and actually assess what the situation is. read more

If i could give this place no stars I would. My story is I needed a very important medication that was on automatic refill. I get to the pharmacy to pick it up today because I needed to start taking it. The pharmacist stated I had nothing ready to pick up. He checked the system and even said this should have been filled and wasn't. He didn't have an answer on why and to top it off he couldn't fill it because apparently CVS is having a system update from 9pm to 5 am and he told me to come back. I'm furious because all of this could have been avoided if my prescription was properly refilled. This isn't the first time this has happened to me. The first time I had given them the benefit of the doubt but when it happens more than once we have a problem. Fix your glitch in your system and notify customers when you have scheduled system updates. If a sick person came into a 24 hour CVS and needed a prescription filled they couldn't get it filled and would have to go to a walgreens. read more

I force myself to come here for one reason: it's open 24/7. It works perfectly for my work schedule. However, the customer service is not always good (sometimes just horrible). Today, when I went to the pharmacy to pick up the medication, one pharmacy staff just chatted with the pharmacist at the back (he would not even look at me and told me that his shift was over). I thought that after he briefly chatted with the pharmacist, he would then help me. However, he just walked away. Are you kidding me? The pharmacist apparently was laughing and tolerated this behavior. I work in the healthcare industry myself, and I don't think that my supervisor would ever tolerate this behavior. read more

I love this CVS Store!!! The staff is always friendly, the sales are unbeatable, and the in-store coupons are the BEST anywhere around........I shop in this store because it is always a positive experience for me! There are other CVS Stores closer to my home, however I would rather drive to this particular store to purchase my drugstore items. read more

They are just too busy. But they have good greeting cards for emergencies.Parking is best in early morning or after 6 or 7pm. Parking around the side by the UPS store that faces Jeffrey is sometimes the quickest way to get out - less waiting for people to walk or drive by as you back out. read more

I had a prescription filled here one time because I needed it ASAP and it was the only location open at the time. When I picked it up, the lady asked me if I wanted future prescriptions filled there and I said no. She guaranteed that my prescriptions would NOT be filled at this location again, as it's far from my house. However, they keep calling my house telling me all my prescriptions have been filled there. I called and asked them to transfer them over to my usual CVS. Shortly after that, they called AGAIN to tell me to pick them up from there. I called today (directly to the pharmacy) and after waiting on hold for 8 minutes, my call was transferred to the regular part of the store. The man who answered was extremely rude, but said he would forward my call back to the pharmacy. My call AGAIN got transferred to him and I asked him to transfer me to the pharmacy again. With a huge attitude, he almost yells in the phone "I ALREADY TRANSFERRED YOU" then it goes silent and someone from the pharmacy finally answered and asked me to hold, which lasted another 10 minutes. Eventually I just gave up. This CVS is a mess, they need to get their sh*t together and learn about good customer service. read more

Pharmacist Varda Patel has absolutely no customer service skills. She is rude to customers. Doesn't know what she is doing. You can't even understand what she is saying. I have used Savon pharmacy for years, but this location is horrible in customer serice. Think twice about using this location for your prescription needs. read more

Was having a hard time finding a pharmacy in town that carried the prescription my daughter needed. CVS pharmacy tech who answered the phone was back with a 'yes we do' within 30 seconds. Hope I don't have to revise this review after making the pickup visit. read more
