If you're looking for a CVS that truly goes above and beyond, this location is it. They are the most efficient at fulfilling prescriptions compared to any other CVS I've used. Even when other stores run out of stock, this one almost always has what you need. The pharmacists are incredibly helpful and make sure you get your medications quickly. I've left messages through the portal and they always return calls promptly, and they even follow up to make sure I received my medications. The staff is friendly and the service is fast, making every visit a smooth experience. If you can't find your medication at other CVS locations, I highly recommend trying this one--you won't be disappointed. read more

The pharmacy staff is absolutely LAZY. I had two urgent prescriptions. One for my daughter who is extremely ill and one for myself. I called them on multiple occasions to check to see if they were completed. Nobody picked up the phone. I signed up for text alerts- there were no texts, and the prescriptions were marked urgent. These pill counting jerks and pathetic excuses for pharmacists are being absolutely lazy and gambling with human life. My kid just needs her antibiotics. She's barely in grammar school, and she could have done their job better. Aren't these people embarrassed? DO YOUR JOB! What the heck are they getting paid to do?! NOTHING?! Anyhow, I usually go to Newport coast pharmacy, but they are closed, and I needed the medicine pronto. AVOID this pharmacy LIKE THE PLAGUE. I will never pick up from them again- I'll find another boutique pharmacy that is closer to avoid dealing with people who won't do their job. I purchased a $100 Nordstrom gift card from CVS about two months ago. After gifting it, the recipient told me the card had no funds. When I contacted Nordstrom, they confirmed the card had been compromised and used in New Jersey before I purchased it in California. When I went back to the CVS store, the cashier immediately gave me their customer service number and admitted this has been happening "way too often." I then spent two weeks being given the runaround by CVS corporate. They insisted I obtain a "reference number" from Nordstrom, but Nordstrom clearly explained no such number exists. In other words, CVS pushed me in circles while refusing to take accountability. As a loyal ExtraBucks Rewards member and regular CVS shopper, I'm shocked by this treatment. My family spends hundreds of dollars each month at CVS, yet when I needed help resolving a fraudulent purchase, I was left with nothing but wasted time and frustration. This isn't just my problem--it makes me wonder how many other customers have unknowingly bought compromised gift cards from CVS. Selling stolen or drained cards and refusing to support loyal customers is not only unacceptable--it feels like outright theft. Shame on CVS for failing to protect consumers and ignoring loyal customers who keep their stores in business. read more

I bought a OTC drug from inside the pharmacy of the store. The lady tried to sell more drug to me without telling me that the OTC drug from inside the pharmacy can't be returned. Luckily, I only bought one package. When I was trying to return, I was told that the OTC drug had my driver license attached so even it's unopened, I can not return and it's the state regulation. I am writing this review hoping people to be aware that if you buy anything from inside pharmacy of CVS store, probably other drug store too, they will not likely disclose that a drug (prescribed or OTC) bought from inside the pharmacy can not be returned. It seems like nobody really wants to work here. It might be a management issue. They seem like they've been kind of thrown together from other locations and they're just kind of stuck working there together. It's just a feeling I have. Rite Aid closed down and my prescriptions were sent to this location. After 3-4 visits now, I'm having my prescriptions sent to Target CVS. Rude employees in a dirty place. I asked to use the restrooms. They asked if I would purchase from the store. I answered I would of course and they told that they wanted to see me do my shopping first. Which I did. I was then given very relunctantly the precious code for the restroom. No soap there. I don't mean the dispenser was empty. I mean no trace of dispenser. Just a trace on the wall that somebody may have washed their hands there back in the days. When I informed the employee on my way out, she did not bother answering. Forgot to mention : restroom is shared with employees. Avoid shaking hands and think twice before buying food. read more

bought allergy medicine and asked to receive the receipt by email at the time of purchase, but I never received it. When I tried to return it, they said they couldn't process the refund to my original payment method because I didn't have the receipt, and they only issued store credit. CVS failed to send the email receipt, yet they put the responsibility on me and refused to refund to the original payment method. It's unbelievable, and they really need to understand why their business is declining. read more

The guy/phamacist working at the consultation area/drop off area is just rude, rather telling me "get back in line i can multitask" how about change that to a nicer way to tell me? It is not hard to say "hey, Ive got your order all settled, you can hop back in line and checkout" dude does not know how to customer service. Last time he was nice but this time he just came out very rude. The worst pharmacy i've been to so far. I don't mind u multitasking as long as you tell me nicely. Geez!! these pharmacy people at this location are lazy and careless af. I came in for a vax and the technician lady at the drop off counter just blantly replied I DONT HAVE IT!!! No further explaination. This is weird as this is not my 1st time getting a shot here. I asked why and she rudely replied I DONT HAVE IT. YOU NEED TO CHECK OTHER LOCATIONS AND GO THERE. This CVS is located off Culver and Walnut and I have been coming here for years since it is conveniently in the same plaza as Mitsuwa, Daiso and Ralphs. Even prior to the times of Covid-19 and social distancing, I have been able to purchase typical stuff like over the counter meds, snacks, sports drinks. I even got Valentines Day candy for my coworkers here. It was already 50-70% off the day BEFORE Valentines Day. What a deal!! Pass forward to current times as Corona Virus disrupts our day to day habits and panic causes people to clear the shelves of toilet paper and hand sanitizer. I can honestly say that this CVS location seems to be doing their best at protecting their staff with face masks and gloves. The store has put an extra table between the counters so you have 6 feet between the cashier. Since the store is limiting the hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol and toilet paper to limit 1, I was able to get these products for my household. I am happy with the 1, and suggests that people just get what they need. I feel like it is important for everyone to be safe and healthy so the disease can slow down. I feel like every time I come to this location it's hard to find the things I'm looking for. they do have really good drinks though. I love buying the iced tea that they have in the bag. Came here for my passport photo after pathetic service at the CVS on Irvine and Culver. Customer service was amazing! The lady working at the cash register was being super kind and patient to some clearly difficult customers, and then helped me get my passport photo taken quickly. She was even kind enough to take a couple photos to make sure I got one I liked. There are a couple self checkouts in the front of the store, too, which is always a bonus! read more

This lady with a little gray hair and glasses and I believe is either manager or Supervisor, surly hates her job. This CVS is ok. I stopped off to grab an energy drink and it served its purpose. It's a big footprint and has a lot of stuff that most of us need in a pinch. The shopping center it is in is kind of a nightmare where you take your car's health in your hand because of how many people are driving like balls in a pinball machine. I was there with over 30 min before closing and wrapping up my shopping when a rude lady starts following me to make sure I'm not stealing or up to no good. I dress like an civilized adult, but this hispanic lady that should be doing other things to ready to close up store has nothing better to do but agitate customers. I asked her if I'm bothering anyone and she told me that it's almost closing time and basically I need to gtfo the store. Note: Review is only for the Pharmacy I've been going to this location only because it's very near my home, so I've been tolerating the poor customer service and unfriendliness of most of the pharmacy staff. Tonight broke the straw though. I came to pick up a prescription and asked if I can use a coupon for the prescription. I was sent to a different window with an Asian man to check on the coupon. This person checked and said the coupon couldn't be used, so I said I'll go ahead and pay for it. But he said I had to get Back in line Again to pay . I was already in line and now he wants me to line up Again, one person in line felt bad and offer his position in line to me. Now, does that make any sense? The staff working here seem to dislike their jobs and are just going through the motion , they don't like to answer any questions and if they do, they are unfriendly in doing it. I guess the Manager doesn't care about providing good customer service. Every single person in this pharmacy is patient, pleasant and helpful. No matter how busy they get, they are always willing to go the extra mile.I have worked in retail and I don't know how they keep their cool, people are so annoying! I love every person that works this pharmacy! While people sat around for a year collecting government money, these people came to work everyday so we could have our meds. I Frequent this store to help my mother. They're usually aren't very many cashiers and be Prepared to to have a nightmare at the cashier if you're getting your prescription drug. In addition to other items that have discounts that need to be over written. I waited for a manager and they had to process the transaction 4 times absolutely ridiculous. The staff is not properly trained including the pharmacist regarding cash register transactions. This place had me and my 71 yr/o mother use the restroom at the back, then be approached by this cranky "I-know-everything-I-am-superior" lady and told us we're NOT supposed to use that restroom because it's only used for people to test for covid. There were absolutely NO signs, NO blockage or whatsoever. And she kept following us and spraying anti bacterial spray our every trail. This is one of the nicer CVS stores in the area as it has been remodeled. I usually find everything I'm looking for, albeit the prices are a little higher than Target or Walmart, for similar items. I'm writing this review because of the service I received from Susan on Friday January 6th. I returned an item, unopened, with the receipt and expected a no problem refund. Susan immediately told me she didn't think I could return the item because it was a Christmas item and they had already been marked on sale. I printed out the item was unopened and my receipt stated I had until February 14th. Susan looked up and down the receipt and then said 'oh you didn't get this here, you got it at another CVS'. I asked if that was a problem. Susan said 'Let me see if I can return it'. She scanned the receipt and the item, and then picked up another scanner and scanned the item with that scanner. She finished the transaction and laid the receipt on the counter and said 'next time return it to the store where you got it'. What? That isn't anywhere in the CVS return policy. I guess she just does not like returning merchandise. I plan on contacting the store just to let someone know what happened. read more
