Stopped into this CVS for an exchange and the staff member was really cool and helpful. There was an issue on my app but he calmly and quickly came up with a solution. If anyone is looking for scar tape, which is what I was there to exchange, the CVS brand does not stay on even for a few hours. Just get the 'Scaraway advanced clear silicone scar sheets' for a few more dollars. That one stays on for almost 2 weeks at a time even with showers ;) And of course, don't forget to stack those coupons on your app!! read more

This is for the pharmacy. The staff is always helpful, keeping in mind that pharmacies in general are overworked and understaffed. In our household there's some medication that needs a new prescription called in every month and we also have a lot of allergies to fillers, so anytime there's a new medication or a refill the pharmacy works with us (by telling us manufacturers in stock and if they have what we normally use in stock, occasionally have to go to a different CVS or other on network pharmacy. Best way to contact them is by phone and leaving a message. In my experience callback is between 2 minutes to an hour during working hours, set a special ringtone so you don't miss the call, if you do miss the callback no worries, just call back to the number they leave or main number it is programmed to dial the pharmacy team directly after you miss their callback. If you do have requirements like specific manufacturers it may be a little rocky at first while the pharmacy team gets to know your patient needs (and also CVS automated system sometimes defaults to generics when available, so it's up to us as patients to work with prescriber and pharmacy to ensure the correct thing is filled (this is a different era with insurance as it is now). Usually after a few fills, it's pretty smooth, just verify before accepting prescription. Drive in is so convenient and can be a little slow, but that's normal it just seems longer in a car because it handles more things in one line, it always has personnel unless it's lunch time. If we see more than 2, maybe 3 cars and are in a hurry we might decide to go inside instead. read more

Update: There is now a sign for lunch times posted under the red daily hours sign. I don't know if I had anything to do with it, but it's good to see that management realized there was an issue. Still only 4 stars because of the many locked up items, especially makeup, but staff was fairly responsive to open up the cases. read more

The Quail Hill CVS has got to be the worst run establishment in the city. They are OUT OF STOCK 90% of the time on essential OTC products like nasal sprays, cough/cold remedies, and the cosmetics shelves are nearly empty as well. The Pharmacy is the only part of the store that operates with any degree of efficiency. Check-out is slow because Self-Check machines are touchy and malfunctionong and there's a shortage of personnel. Surely this important community business can be improved and better stocked. read more

This pharmacy does not answer phone calls, and one pharmacist even yelled at me for questioning a prescription. Instead of addressing my concerns properly, she told me she would refuse to serve me. I needed the medication that day but the female Pharmacist kept my medication and shut the window on me while they have my credit card, then the Pharmacist push's my credit card through the window. Unbelievable! Again, they shown how incompetent they are. By seeing the medication, they should know the patient needs the antibiotic that day. They sent a text message at 8:12 PM saying my prescription was ready, but when my husband went to pick it up, he found out they had already closed at 8:00 PM. It's disappointing and frustrating to see such a lack of sympathy and professionalism. If they truly considered themselves medical professionals, they would show compassion and understand how desperately patients need their medications. Sending a "ready for pickup" text after closing time only causes unnecessary suffering and inconvenience for patients. These pharmacists clearly need additional ethical and professional training. No one should work in healthcare without empathy and strong professional standards. Unfortunately, this is the closest pharmacy to my home, but I am now unsure whether I should continue using their services. It's a very sad situation, and I can't help but wonder if they are simply overworked to the point that they've forgotten why they chose a career in medicine in the first place. This makes me very sad that I am writing this complaining about their lack of professionalism knowing how hard they study to earn their degree to serve their community. read more

Not really sure why but the employee seemed to be having a bad day, didn't print my order when it said it was ready, doubted I went to the right place, insinuated I went to the wrong address when I confirmed it was the correct location then proceeded to give me a fraction of my order. It's ok to have a bad day sometimes but I was polite and patient, Next time try to be professional when dealing with your customers and keep that in mind when performing your role. This store is bad, they allow pets in here, and the manager allows it. Service dogs have an actual ID, not just an outfit that says "service pet" on it. If you complain here, the manager defends the customers who bring them in here. Just bringing this to the attention of law enforcement. You can't bring pets in this store, and if I witness it again I'll inform the ADA. read more

Rude manager in training, Tiffany, who did not know how the BOPIS process worked with removing bag fees. She also proceeded to tell the cashier to use the bag I didn't want for the next order. That bag still had my name and order information sticker on it. When I asked the cashier to remove it, he didn't seem to want to. This is just for the pharmacy. Called a day ahead to pick up prescription medication where a pharmacy rep advised my meds would be ready in an hour. Came a day later to avoid any kind of wait. I waited at the pick up counter waiting for assistance but the multiple women working behind the counter completely ignored my existence. Then I moved to the drop off counter and the lady advised I go back to the pick up counter. Then a pharmacy rep approached the pick up counter only to ask a gentleman not even waiting at the counter if he needed help and then when he replied "no" ignored me again and just went back to pill counting. At this point I'm just confused why I couldn't get someone to help? Someone must have felt my frustration because a pharmacy assistant finally came to ask me if I needed help...all to find out that my meds were still being prepared and that I'd have to wait 15 min (beyond irritated). I had to wait in the pharmacy pick up drive through line for 35minutes for a single person to get their covid test because they wouldn't have the person go inside or wait to the side in their car. I couldn't back up since the drive through ended up with many people behind me. Ended up late for a job interview as a result. I gave myself 20minutes to pickup the prescription for my kid but I guess I learned my lesson. Go inside to get your perscription if you go to this CVS. Or just avoid it entirely. Unreal! read more

This is my home pharmacy. I have been coming here for over 10 years. The main reason is of the convenience. I used to go to Costco for years. But nothing against Costco it just came to be too much for me to park and go into a Costco just for prescriptions. I have good insurance so I saw little to no difference in price or co pay. I find everyone helpful and professional. It can get very busy during the usual times but that's to be expected. I also will get my vaccine shots of all types here too. I have not used the pharmacy here but have purchased numerous other items and, in general, like this CVS location better than most. Located in Culver Plaza near 24-Hour Fitness, this is your average CVS but with the added convenience of a pharmacy drive-thru window. The workers here are always nice & helpful and one of the women who work the register is very friendly and always makes me feel welcome. This store seems to always be a bit messy though (ie - items on the floor, disorganized shelves) and on my visit today (in mid-December) to get some greeting cards, I found a big section of Thanksgiving cards still on display. Also someone needs to tell CVS that carpeted floors are not a good idea; all the stains make the place look ghetto. But the shelves are well stocked and I always find what I need. Absolutely terrible and rude lady pharmacist. Didn't catch her name but she's a middle age Asian female pharmacist. She was incredibly unprofessional. There was an elderly gentleman ahead of me and she was very short with him and poor guy didn't get any of his questions answered. When it was my turn I was already dreading it because of her foul attitude but I tried to be nice ...smiled and said hello. She didn't even look at me and said what do you need. I asked my question and again she didn't look at me either and the answer to my question was I don't have any recommendation and dismissed me. When I gathered my jaw off the floor I was going to complain to a manager but there was a line forming and I didn't want to be that person. So I jumped on here. This is a bad location, not just because of parking but the workers belittle customers all the time here. They play dumb, clearly don't take their jobs serious enough throughout this crisis we're in. I don't want to come across as a bad customer, but the way these people who run this store act, I think they should be fined. I'm saying this based on working at a pharmacy, because these guys are jerks. I overheard one of the workers (Jesus), who played incredibly stupid to a customer who mentioned someone needed to wear a mask. He played dumb, and by dumb I mean he said, "Oh, she works here, it's okay." I'm sorry, but working at a location does not give anyone the ability to break the rules. You're in a pharmacy, where they have plenty of masks (and gloves) and your worker should have a mask on. I can't believe the audacity of the worker, who I'm told was the active manager of this location. Really, I've heard that used as a joke often but you're actually the manager? You do realize that the front of your store clearly states that customers are required to wear a mask, and your employee (for the pharmacy) can't wear a mask and was using her shirt as one. That's a fine of $1,000 regardless if you're aware of the law. The law states that customers and employees are required by law to wear a mask due to the Corona Virus (COVID-19). So instead of playing dumb, get up and give her a mask. It shouldn't take her longer than a minute to get a mask. She works around sick people, and she should know better. Not only that, she works at the pharmacy, she's around people who get sick and is at risk. So no, she's not allowed to be in your store without a mask on, no matter what you say. If he really is dumb enough to think that's rational, that's fine too, because it means he should be fired for not knowing how to do his job. All these people seem to complain about this location, and I understand why. Incompetent workers, not to be rude to the workers who know how to do their jobs and don't ask stupid questions. This "I don't know" mentality needs to stop, that's for trainees. This is disgusting to know how poorly a manager at this location is acting around anyone, but he's not alone. I've seen a few workers not know how to do their jobs here, and obviously nobody from corporate seem to be viewing this page. There is no way you can't find anyone for this location, you're within miles of Target, Walmart, another CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens and various other identical locations. These workers don't take their jobs seriously, the location is toxic, and you need someone to monitor these people. When a worker looks around like a dumb ass and acts like they're the manager, and they are the manager, they need to be fired. Freaking bait-and-switch at the worst time I have an international trip, so needed PCR or RAT test done. Since PCR was most accepted type, I decided to go with PCR at CVS, but results in up to 48 hours was problematic with test requirement of within 2 days of the flight day. I called the CVS and rep assured me that most results come back in 24 hours. I went there 30 mins ago and the rep there(sounded like the one who assured/LIED to me), insisted on maximum or suggestively usual 48 hours! And then recommended me to book a RAT test. What a freakin outrageous bait-and-switch!!!! I came back home and found that there is no RAT test available on Walgreens before the flight! This is utterly unacceptable. Every time I pick up my 3 month prescription there's always an issue. I was told the first time that they couldn't find my Rx and that she was too busy right now and to come back later... seriously. You're too busy to look for my Rx that I need daily. That's a bummer. First rule of customer service. Broken. So I called the pharmacist and she found it and I had to go back and pick it up. Then, after a month I was out. They shorted me two months of Rx. Seriously. How could that even be possible. So I had to call and explain that one. Third time I'm back for a new refill. I paid online and they couldn't find my payment even though I had a confirmation. They made me pay twice. Eventually the charge fell off eventually. Why even have the option to prepay if it isn't going to notify the pharmacy?! This is place is a nightmare. I only go there because of the drive thru. read more

Well, the young cashier told me sign up for CarePass because I'd receive $10 off my purchase and can 'easily' cancel my membership by calling the Carepass number (diapers are expensive). NOPE! The location is great walking distance. I have gone there very early morning in and out with my little dog and they had no problems with it. Recently, there's a new old guy that seems to run the place and is very strict and very rude. About a week ago he insulted a customer lady who didn't speak English very well. This week, I walked all the way there with my dog and he told me rudely like I can't be in the store with my dog because it's the State Law. I would have for future understand since it was brought to my attention that rules have changed but at least let me do my return. He wasn't haven't it. He's truly a grumpy old man and possibly a racist!!! I missed the previous staff members where customer service was fantastic and now went downhill. Terrible Pharmacy service. I went here to do my booster and one of the Pharmacist said they are closing in 20min. Come back tomorrow. Since I needed an Maalox, I asked one of them if they have any since I did not see it in the shelves so she walked with me and showed me a CVS brand instead. But as I was walking to their counter to check out she told me instead to go upfront to pay and so I did and had to be on a long queue because there is only one lady in the counter. This store has lousy service compared to other CVS stores in the area. Yesterday I went in to buy something over the counter and had to wait 20+ minutes in the check out line at the pharmacy counter because the front of store check out counter was completely unstaffed. I mean nobody was there the entire time and when I mentioned it to a pharmacy staffer she just chuckled like it's no big deal. I dropped by around lunch time today to inquire if my daughter and I can come later and see if they have left over for vaccine, in case they have "no shows". The girl in front for vaccine check in was cold and she dismissed me right away. She said they don't have no shows so no extra vaccines... I repeatedly asked what if they have and she would cut me in the middle of my sentence and say they have absolutely have no shows! How does she even know? I'd been driving around all day long trying to find a magnifying glass for my grandmother. This was the 2nd CVS and I'd already been to Target. Well, again, I couldn't find them. They had the little ones but not the larger ones. A woman at the first CVS I went to said they carry them but they were out. So why did this CVS garner a 5-star rating? Well, this woman who was working there went out of her way to help me. She was standing by the door and her job was trying to coax people to change their prescriptions over to CVS, but she tried to help me. She called around to try and locate one of the CVSs which might carry it. After about 10 minutes she located one. I thought that was extremely nice of her. She told me she didn't want me driving around and not finding it. Seriously, I'd never experience THAT kind of service at a CVS before. This person went above and beyond her duties and I didn't even get her name. Thanks for your help! read more
