I had called around trying to find a pharmacy that…read morecould fill the prescription for me; I was having no luck because the medication which I was prescribed was a new drug to the market. I had seen the sign for Advanced Rx & Compounding Pharmacy before they were even opened. I decided to give them a call, being they are a compounding pharmacy, to see if they could possibly make the new medication for me. I had no idea how the compounding thing works, so I thought that they might possibly be able to help me; or maybe they could give me direction as to where I could find the new medication. I made the call. Once my call was answered, I was a little taken back at how the person, I asked to speak with the pharmacist, spoke to me; what a complete waste of my time, and there's. The person who I spoke with wasn't interested at all with me or with the questions that I had. I thought to myself, wow, they do not need my business! Anyway, I won't be calling them again........

Walmarts seem to be on almost every street corner. They are the shopping center version of…read moreStarbucks. Now this particular Walmart is named correctly as a "neighborhood market." There really isn't anything I consider spectacular about it. It's smallish but has enough products, meats, vegetables, cosmetics and sanitizers, soaps, a pharmacy etc. to keep people coming. Though I don't visit this particular Walmart often, it's still very similar (it not totally) to the other smaller Walmarts I've been too. I also kind of get disappointed when I visit because when I look for the Dial soap I like, they don't carry it anymore. But I do find it in the super center versions of Walmart. Which lends to the obvious. You're not going to find everything you really want here. You may have to change brands on occasion. On the good side, this is a pretty well-organized Walmart. I was pretty impressed with the vegetable and fruits sections. But the meats, because of their seeming scarcity, may keep you away from that section and get them at another store . The freezer/refrigerator sections are freezing! And do note that it's always cold in this store! Call it a negative in winter and a positive in summer! Stalemate!! Well, that last word kind of sums up my feelings about this particular Walmart. But I will say in closing, it really does apply to the other small versions of Walmart I've visited as well. Every time I go there seems to be a quite a few employees right outside the door between the Dollar Store and Walmart smoking, which is not fun walking though a cloud of smoke as your enter or exit the store. You would think that there would be an area in back, outside of public view, for smoking employees of the store. It's not a good look. And I know we are in a pandemic shipping supply crisis, but this store seems to be out of stock more often than it should be of certain items that most stores don't run out of. With that said, there are still a few employees of this store that are always nice when I come in and make sure to greet people as they enter and leave. But it's just better to drive down the road to another store sometimes.

The staff are nice and I always have a good experience with the pharmacy as well. Compared to the Walgreens where we get my husband's prescriptions (VA things), it's a significantly better experience. Minus the pharmacy, I'll only occasionally pop in to grab something since the Publix is right next door. But it's a decent spot and will have what you need for a quick shop.
