Fay went out of her way to help fix an issue caused by a CVS pharmacy in Oregon, for my husband who is still working in Oregon and hubby wasn't even here to explain the problem, she had to hear it second hand from me. went in to buy Simone Pokemon cards for my little brother since a worker told me they restock certain days. when I get there, there's nothing on display so I go to ask the girls in the back counter when I see that they have some when I them they me just a specific ones and told me have even though they had a whole bunch of tins with them it look like one of the workers was keeping them aside for themselves. I am not want to complain, but honestly was not something I expected them to do. I don't think it's right for the employee to be keeping product from the customers. I understand that these are hard to find in general, but it makes it even harder when the own employees know that they're keeping them from the customers. Subject: Formal Complaint and Refund Request in Accordance with CVS 100% Satisfaction Guarantee Dear CVS Customer Relations, I am writing to formally request a full refund for a recent purchase of CVS Health Relief Cream, which I attempted to return immediately after purchase at the same store location without leaving the register area yet when i asked her how much the product was charged to my CC? This message also serves as a formal complaint regarding the unprofessional conduct and policy misapplication exhibited by a staff member claiming to be the store manager. As you are aware, CVS prominently advertises a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee on its store-brand products. This policy asserts that if a customer is not satisfied with a CVS Health item, they are entitled to a full refund--no caveats, no fine print mandating digital identity scanning. At the time of the attempted return, I was still in the register front, had my original receipt, and had paid with a credit card. Despite this, the individual at the register refused to process the return, citing irrelevant justifications such as the CVS brand being "40% more expensive than the name brand," and insisted on scanning my driver's license into your system. I have been a loyal CVS customer for over two decades. However, today was the last straw. I picked up some meds that were prescribed by my doctor. Upon researching this particular prescribed medication, the side effects were worse than what I was being treated for. I returned the meds and instead of giving me a store credit or a refund, they refused any kind of refund at all. Thoroughly disappointed, I walked out never to do business with CVS again. This review is long enough so I'm paraphrasing. Don't purchase gift cards here. I purchased a $100 Amazon gift card for a birthday. After the recipient tried to use the gift card it came back as already activated. Turns out there is quite a gift card scam going on. Apparently shame on me for not knowing this. I tried calling the store and without skipping a beat the manager told me to call CVS customer support because there was nothing they could do. Well, customer support provided no support and told me to contact Amazon. After contacting Amazon, and working with them for over a week, I was denied any help. Amazon confirmed that the card had been activated on another account, but wouldn't help me further. During the time I was working with Amazon, CVS customer support left me a voicemail saying thanks for calling but we can't do anything for you. So it seems CVS is quite aware of this scam after speaking with them, however they don't seem too willing to help their customers. So this is the last time I give any business to CVS and I've already told all family and friends. I understand anyone reading this doesn't know me, but be cautious. I finally had enough, a few weeks ago I moved my RX's to another pharmacy. My only question I ask myself is why did I wait so long, too long when I look back at the many years of horrible, just horrible customer service, getting prescriptions wrong and overcharging. This CVS is nothing but trouble. A long time ago this used to be a great pharmacy. Now it's plain old bad. The staff don't care at all about getting prescriptions right or filled in a timely manner. I've had my doctors complain to me. The staff are rude and condescending, they are easily confused and don't belong anywhere where patient care is needed. I don't need special treatment or coddling. I come in or call with a simple request, get my meds filled. That's it. I've had pharmacists my scripts wrong, take an attitude with my doctors ( who are all good and decent people) trying to do their job. I can't count the number of times I've had RX's filled late or get lost. I've had wrong medication dispensed to me, dangerous drugs that were accidentally given to me. That's not only dangerous, it's against the state law in California. I've had Drs tell me they were treated poorly by the staff here. I spent 30 years working as an RN. If I made any of the mistakes that any of the pharmacy techs or pharmacists made with me my license would have been suspended or taken away from me. Don't work with sick people or vulnerable people if you can't do your job correctly or if you're incapable of doing basic math. Or if you lack basic human compassion. If you're so burnt out then leave, go find a job somewhere else, far away from people who are sick and vulnerable. Customers depend on you to get their meds in a timely manner or give them the correct meds at the correct dose. This CVS is not a decent or even OK pharmacy.Its a dangerous place to have your prescriptions filled. How frustrating is it to get home and go through your items to find the package empty. Someone had stolen the item out of the box so when I purchased the item, I had no idea it was empty. Terrible. Absolutely awful. I waited over 30 minutes in the drive thru to get a covid test and either their systems are shit or their employees are inadequately trained but the person at the drive thru pharmacy could not process my test properly. She became frustrated at me and starting scoffing each time she spoke to me. Ultimately she was unable to process my insurance, and told me the test would be $140 (which the website says is $69.99 if not covered by insurance). I drove away without getting the test done. Do NOT get your cameras developed here. I am new to the area and could not find a better place to get my three disposable cameras developed. This CVS said they sent the cameras out to Fuji, and the turnaround was about two weeks. I figured Fuji would know what they were doing even though that was a long turnaround window. When I got the film back, all three cameras had been double exposed, leaving my photos with multiple layers of composition and rainbow shadows. Whoever developed my film either had no idea what they were doing or it was their first week on the job. To top it off, they wrote on the envelopes that it was my fault for exposing the film to light, which is impossible to do with plastic disposable cameras, which are self-contained. The developer is the only one who can open the camera to expose the film to anything. I will NEVER use the CVS photo center anywhere for anything ever again. I go to Golden One Hour Photo in Koreatown in Los Angeles, and they do a beautiful job and return prints within the day. read more

Wait times for pharmaceutical drugs or anything locked up in the aisles are terrible, and they don't care that you wait or that it's 7:55pm and they've closed their registers at the pharmacy and don't care, could give a rat's a$$ actually, that you're not getting your meds when you need them, even though he's closing 5 min early. If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would. I frequent this pharmacy to pick up prescriptions for my older parents and every time I go in there is a problem.... EVERY....SINGLE....TIME! Today is Christmas Eve and I went to pick up a prescription for my mother. After waiting in line for 45 mins I finally get to the front for the employee to tell me that the pharmacist had gone to lunch and wouldn't give me my mother's prescription for at least another hour and a half because it was a new prescription. So on Christmas Eve I have to go back and stand in another heinous line and hope that they don't screw up her prescription again. On prior occasions, they've lost the prescription order or it is never ready when called in days in advance by doctors. our neighborhood CVS is a great pharmacy/ store. I have never had any issues at this location. On the contraire, as soon as we walk in, we are greeted and asked if we need help locating something. Can't get any easier than that. The scanner is located in the front, by the registers, so you can go scan your CVS card and get any coupons that are available for you to save even more money. The staff at the pharmacy is great as well. They always answer any questions you have for any medication, whether its from over the counter, or found anywhere in the store. read more

I am absolutely appalled at the insensitivity of the pharmacist at this CVS!!! She (I never got her name, she only said "the pharmacist" on the phone) was SO rude, disrespectful, cold, callous, insensitive, unsympathetic, and COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! She put me on hold numerous times, AS I WAS SPEAKING and trying to explain my situation & constantly interrupted me as if my words mean absolutely nothing! I have lived here longer than the pharmacy has been there & I have always used this CVS (about 14 years), except one time a couple weeks ago when they didn't have one of the meds on my scrip so they said to take it to another pharmacy. They never said "take it to another CVS", just "another pharmacy", so I took it to Walgreens, being the next closest for me. Well, the bitchy pharmacist at CVS says she doesn't like "pharmacy hopping", so she won't fill my pain med scrip now!!! That was the ONE AND ONLY time I have EVER used a different pharmacy & ONLY BECAUSE THEY TOLD ME TO & NOW THE PHARMACIST USES IT AGAINST ME!!!! The pharmacist even SPOKE TO MY DR & STILL REFUSED TO FILL MY SCRIP!!!! She said to come pick up my scrip, so I took it to 4 other pharmacies that wouldn't fill it because the bitch CVS pharmacist had written notes on there which threw up a red flag to the other pharmacists, who then couldn't get a hold of my dr because it was now past 5pm on Friday!!! I had shoulder surgery a few weeks ago & have been getting severe muscle spasms when I don't have my pain meds. Not to mention I can't even live my daily life while in SO MUCH PAIN!!! So, for the last 2 days I've been crying in pain because this "pharmacist", who is supposed to be compassionate & caring, refuses to fill my scrip, even though SHE KNOWS I HAD SURGERY & SHE SPOKE TO MY DOCTOR!!! This pharmacy has to be the worst! I have come here several times and always have an issue. The store overall is always short staffed. I had my doctor call in a prescription and she even called me to tell me she had done it and was unable to get through bbt left it on the new prescription line for doctors. This was about 1 pm I stop by at 5 pm to pick it up only to be told there was no message. Of course I call my doctor back and she states she will call again immediately so she did and waited to speak with someone. She wanted me to start my medication asap but I didn't want to go back out so figured I'd pick it up on my way home the next day! I stoped to mick it up at 5 pm the next day to be told they are to busy and don't have it ready as they are very behind. I asked why wasn't I told that yesterday I could of had it sent elsewhere. The guy said we can't tell the future which made me mire upset. I then asked to transfer my prescription and he said I can't because it's in process. So I'm left with out medicine and I am unable to get it at another pharmacy.
