Friday January 24th I went to CVS with a Good RX offer for what they caharge for a set of 3 Prescriptions to use after my upcoming PRK eye surgery. I looked up on Good Rx and they listed prices for Ketorolac $10.00 Ofloxacin $10.00 and Prednisolone $37.74. The regular price is problably more than my Lexus. I live in Canyon Lake 3 miles away and chose the CVS closest to my Home. I have a Walmart, Wahlgreens, and Rite Aid within 5 miles and CVS tried to STEAL from me the Prednisolone for a Price of $120.45. If prices are published on the Internet...for God's sake honor them. Stay away from these con artists for you prescription and health and beauty aid products. I look forward to the day when KARMA visits and the store shuts down... Made an appointment to days in advance for a stupid Covid test at 3:40 PM on a Thursday getting the ridiculously long line at 3:30 and the first car in line was out the window for 21 minutes. Finally sat in line for 40 minutes before I got to the window and then was told that the lady that does the Covid test is on lunch break for another 20 minutes. Dealing with the main store is a pleasure. I'm usually greeted with a "Welcome" when I walk in and everybody is nice. Checkout is always too slow at drugstores (same at Walgreen's) for some reason but they adhere to "industry standard" I primarily visit the store for the pharmacy and it's a nightmare. The pharmacists and technicians behind the counter are generally very competent and friendly but there are just too few of them for a store that does this much business. CVS is trying to squeeze every nickle of profit possible from this department at the expense of the heath and safety of their patients. The level of service they are able to provide is downright inhumane. After going to this store at least twice a week for years I can confidently say the issue isn't with the staffers. CVS Canyon hills jacked up my sons Rx again. Tried to say he wasnt insured then said is it a female? Are you kidding me does he look female. Same insurance as last wk when we got Zofran for $2, and since he was born. They tried to make me get out of line and go all the way to the back so they can re-run insurance. I refused until they fixed it. 45 minutes in total waiting Krew finally got his prescriptions that were supposedly ready the day before. How do you f-up someones insurance/Rx so often when nothings changed. Last wk they said his Zofran wasnt sent which was a lie it was electronically sent with a confirmation. This is not because she is a Muslin I could care less what religion she practices this about learning proper English I can understand. Do not go here, eventually you will regret it. Like many other people have said in their reviews, the pharmacist Kaitlyn refuses to refill necessary prescriptions even if your doctor calls her and tells her too! This is the first time in 17 years that I needed an early refill and Kaitlyn refuses to fill it even with doctors orders. She kept telling me when I called to have the doctors office call her and explain why i need it early, they call her and she still refuses. I told her I can have seizures or die if I don't have this medication why would you refuse it. She does not care. She even lied to my doctor and told them that i told her that I take my medication multiple times a day and not as prescribed and thats why shes not filling it. Why would I tell her that??? She put a bunch of notes under my name and red flags so that no one will fill it. She told me it doesnt matter how many doctors say I need this medicine, she already has the prescription she needs but wont fill it. I reported her to the State Board of Pharmacy and I am going to a different pharmacy. God forbid she ever needs medication and someone acts like her and refuses. Unreal. read more

The person working at the front here was really unsettling. I use self checkout because I'm tired of getting discriminating behavior for using food stamps, and I already had an unpleasant interaction with her. I asked to use the available self checkout and the woman stood right over my shoulder watching the entire time. No privacy or respect for my payment. This is the slowest pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. I went an hour after my prescription was suppose to be ready and they said sorry I would have to wait another half hour. Then after that they just said sorry it's still not ready and she's on the phone. They don't look like they're slacking or rushing. every time I have come to this location it has been a mess. Just now we went to pick up a prescription in the drive through and we were waiting at the window for 20 minutes! Finally someone comes and says they will help us in a few minutes... Another five minutes goes by and she tells us that she is closing the window and to come inside. Why should I have to go inside when it took you 25 minutes to help me? We go inside and then their is a long line inside! It took another 20 minutes for me to get my stuff and I wasn't the only one waiting for that long. I won't be coming to this location any time soon... read more

I've been coming here for years to fill my prescription. Last couple months they have told me it will have a week to order or that they can't. This time they are under new management and can not order my medication. She said "we are under new management and she's on vacation" I highly recommend finding a new pharmacy. I would prefer 0 stars for this awful pharmacy but yelp doesn't let you do that! I have had multiple problems here over the years but last night was the final straw!! My husband has been very sick yet still going to work & trying to get through this awful cold/flu. He went to urgent care & they called in some cough medicine here. Well he got to the pharmacy & they couldn't find the prescription. The urgent care was closed by the time he got there so he couldn't call them to see if it was their fault but when he got home I said, I bet they have it they are just so disorganized they couldn't find it! Sure enough I went today & they had it & gave me some lame excuses. Meanwhile he spent a sleepless night coughing & feeling awful. Never again!! It's ridiculous how they have decided to use the drive thru pharmacy as the Covid drive thru. Seniors use this to keep themselves safe without entering the store. Now the lines are 2 hours long (not even kidding) and it puts seniors right up and personal with Covid. read more

I'm coming back to update my review. I wish I could give zero stars. They refused to fill my prescription for pain meds after a csection because I had some pain meds filled before my surgery from the same OB. Mind you, these were the only two times I've ever been prescribed pain meds in my life. After arguing and having the pharmacist call my OB, she finally said she would, but not until the afternoon the next day. Mind you, I just got home from the hospital and needed my meds. We ended up going down the street to Walgreens on Murrieta in Menifee and they have been WONDERFUL. I gave way too much of my time and energy to this pharmacy. read more

This pharmacy seems very understaffed. Same person works the drive-up and the walk-in lines. It is always a long wait.

I haven't had a bad experience at the CVS customer service has always been nice and CVS is just convenient and super close to where I live.

I thought I would transfer my prescriptions from Rite-Aid since CVS was closer to my house. What a mistake that was. I called on a Saturday to have them transferred the pharmacist at Rite Aid transferred them on Saturday. I called Sunday was left on hold for 40 minutes ended up having to go to the pharmacy they still could not find the prescriptions. The pharmacy tech was not helpful was actually rude what a disappointment. I still do not have my prescriptions go to any other pharmacy but The Canyon Hills location. read more

This Pharmacy is horrible! I have had my prescription filled here for the past almost two years now, and nothing had changed except recently the dosage. When it came time for a refill, I placed the order over the phone with a person, instead of the online automated system. I was told my order was ready and so I go down there to pick up with my Good RX discount that I have been using all along. I go to pay and they tell me that I will have to go to the other register so they can "rebill", at this time I have already been there 15 minutes, so I go to yet another line for what ever stupid reason they can't do from the other computer only to find out that they no longer will honor my Good RX discount! Why in the hell didn't they tell me that before I waited in a different line! Then I ask to speak to a "manager". This person "michelle" then claims to be the manager.... That is just so sad! I never read the reviews here until today when I got home. I must say, that it was very disheartening to see that they have treated others in the same way. I don't know if upper management ever reviews these comments here, or for that matter even cares! Anyway, after being given the run around, I refused to give them my business to which I clearly stated to the "manager" and the sad thing is, she seemed to be happy about it!! She was just a mean and rude person, who did not care about losing my almost 2 year business with them!! What kind of customer service is that!! I left there and went to a different pharmacy and they offered to call to get the prescription transferred over, but she would not release the prescription for what ever stupid reason..... so.... I had to go all the way back to my doctor to get a new prescription, just because they wanted to be vindictive to top it all off! I don't know if anyone with authority to make changes to the personnel here ever read this or even care, but at the very least, if I could save even one more person from having to go through an unnecessary and awful ordeal, then my review has mattered.... read more

This pharmacy SUCKS! Always too busy. Takes hours to get your medication. Several times had to come back more than once because medicine wasn't ready when they said it was. But wait, there's more.......They tell you they will text you when it's ready, but they don't. Then when you call to check if it's ready (and it is) the pharmacist goes to lunch while you are waiting in the pick up line and they can't give you your medicine until she comes back. I used to like it here a lot but the customer service is in decline. I went to pick up diapers this morning and was taking my time, price checking every brand. This CVS does not carry many variety but I like to be careful. One of the managers walks right by me, says nothing and continues to eyeball me like I'm going to steal something. I went to this cvs sick with a flu and waited 1 hour and 30 min for my medicine THAT WAS READY. They said they couldn't verify my insurance. So my insurance company called them and they refused to answer saying they were too busy although no one was in line and they were standing around chatting. I waited another 30 and had my insurance company on my phone to talk to them and they then said they figured it out they no longer need to talk to them....mind you they never informed me before this they were working on it or figured it basically told me it was my problem they couldn't do anything. The woman by the name of Sawsan with the Hijab was EXTREMELY RUDE and refused to let others help with the issue that turned out to be a computer error ON THEIR END. Well first of all they gave me the wrong dose of medication so I called and was on hold for 15 minutes. Then called to complain and was told they are busy to yet again be put on hold for another 25 minutes before speaking to someone. That is a total of 40 minutes. I was told that they forgot to make the change. WOW, isn't that your job. I will be getting my medications elsewhere and suggest you do the same. I can always find what I need here, this location is pretty big. I love the CVS reward system. If I don't have my card on me I just give them my phone number and at the end of my receipt are coupons and even money off for my next visit. I just wish they stayed open 24 hours, it would make for great business because of its location and the lack of anything else open in the area. read more

I agree with every review for negative Pharmacy guru. The woman pharmacist refused a doctors order for a pain pill to me. I questioned her and she said, your insurance won't okay it as you have another order pending for mail order of the same pill....Yes but I am entitled to a emergency refill until they arrive per my doctor and they called you to verify this. Well, I won't fill it as I don't know what you are going to do with these pills....dah....stand on the corner and sell them you twit. Finally, my dr. and my insurance called and told her a thing or two and the insurance rep said who are you to question a doctors order. with that...about two hours later, got a call that my RX ws ready. when I went to pick it up, the clerk asked for my name and when I told her loudly, the twit pharmacist wouldn't even look up. I took all my rx's on file there over to Walgreens and it may be a little farther but you are treated with respect and welcomed as a PAYING customer....Good luck CVS....Humana has your number for incompetent pharmacist. I don't want to give them any stars but I have to choose one. Horrible horrible horrible. Just came out of surgery. My husband dropped of my prescription they said it wouldn't be ready until 8pm. He dropped it off at 4pm or a little before. He explained that I just came out of surgery and I needed it before 8pm. He called an hour later. Nothing. Lady got rude with him and said they have other patients in pain to and that they fell behind. Doctors don't give prescriptions like that in advance. Not happy with there service. read more
