My experience with cvs today Phone call #1 "Pharmacy can you please hold..." 15 minutes later, line picked up....disconnected Phone call #2 "Pharmacy.....can you hold please, there are 4 calls ahead of you...." 35 minutes later, cvs worker said he would fax my Dr refill request...... So not ideal but not terrible..... UNTIL pick up...... I came in the store tonight, and I kid you not there were 10 people in line and 2 workers.....Normally I would be understanding and sympathetic to their situation of being understanding ....but they were both dismissive and rude when people started getting agitated. After 40 minutes I left.....I will have my Dr give me a hard copy and I will go somewhere else. read more

Absolutely the worst pharmacy. Meds are never done on time (if they even have it, I mean they won't tell you till it's time to pick it up) and when you have questions regarding what's going on with your medication you're given the worst fuckin attitude by the pharmacy technicians. Was told my children's meds would be ready in 1 hour, waited 6 and the last 2 of those hours their Medication was supposed to be expedited. If a med is not covered by insurance, the pharmacy is supposed to call doctors office and let then know so doctors can figure it out on their end, but guess what, this pharmacy doesn't! So you'll have to do that part of their job for them..How awesome of you guys! And to add, I find it funny how when I come in and ask for assistants with a product, I wait 15-30min for someone to come help (like with the razors) But if I walk in there to get a drink or a bottle of nail polish, I get followed. read more

This pharmacy has been terrible the day i switched. I came here for convenience because it's 24 hours. The last couple times they gave me the wrong meds, they gave me 3 bottles of one and forgot the 2 most important ones i asked for, they never have it ready when i call, when it's their mistake they still make me wait for the entire line to have me come up and fix their mistake. They didn't have my med in stock the last time and didn't fill it so by the time i came they told me they didn't have it, but then they checked and decided they DID have it and still took 30 minutes to fix their mistake and get me my life saving medication. They're awful and I'm switching as soon as possible. On top of messing up 100% of the time they do not have good customer service skills. They're terrible and rude. Don't go here. read more

I've been coming to this pharmacy for years- and tonight when I dropped in to use a coupon for a free Essie nail polish (which I received from cvs)- it wasn't working and the "supervisor" Karla was VERY rude to my boyfriend and I. Save yourself the hassle, and go to another location where they actually have manners and try to help you. I am so disappointed. Since their policy change on how many test strips they will fill for a patient (no matter what the patient's doctor thinks about it) .... Found me scrambling for a new pharmacy. What a mess. I could not get my prescriptions transferred. The new pharmacy would be put on hold and left there for several hours before getting hung up on. Multiple times. My calls to the pharmacy weren't answered or I was hung up on. I finally gave up and requested my doctor call in new prescriptions to the new pharmacy. Inexcusable. Terrible service. I don't know why this particular store/pharmacy got only 1 1/2 stars, but they're crazy. I don't shop there so that part doesn't apply to my review, but I do always use their pharmacy & have been for years now cuz they r so good & accommodating towards me & getting my meds ready on time. They do their best to communicate w my Dr's office if needed & I especially wanna give a couple people frm that pharmacy a shout out & props for their guaranteed work like Toni the pharm tech, and Emily & Ovanis, the main pharmacists there some acknowledgment..... those particualr 3 hard-workers deserve alot of recognition. They have always been so nice to me & they've gone over & beyond for me multiple times as well to satisfy my needs & most of my requests (that are reasonable, of course). So at the end of the day, when u show employees frm anywhere respect & appreciation & if ur always kind & understanding towards them as well, especially at any pharmacy, I guarantee u u'll get the best service & be genuinely favored to be helped out best they can. So basically, if u pay it forward, u get great service right back some way or another in return. But if u argue w them, insult them, make outrageous & self-centered, petty complaints, etc etc, then ur not gonna be treated much better than before, so best to always show them gratitude. It's not hard. Not too much to ask. And doesn't cost anyone a single penny to show kindness & compassion to these hard-working people. So, Toni, Emily, & Ovanis.... u guys rock! This place is worse than a joke. So, we take our daughter's prescription and drop it off here, they tell us to come back in 20 minutes. We walk around the store for 45 minutes, head back and they tell us, please can you give us another 20 minutes? So we walk around for another 30 minutes, and head back to the counter, and it's not ready, so they nice lady asked if we can PLEASE, give them another 20 minutes? Ok, so we head out to dinner, and head back almost 3 hours after we originally dropped it off, guess what? It's still not ready, really? I know, can you give us 20 minutes please? So we give them my girls number, and tell them, just call us when it's ready. 2 hours later, they call her, and I said, I will just go back, it's not a big deal. So I walk in, and guess what? They have the nerve to tell me, ITS NOT READY. Then why would you call me? The girl that called left, and they couldn't find where she put it. I got out of the ER with my sister around 11pm on a Saturday night. We had to fill two prescriptions and the line was super long. However once i dropped off the prescriptions they told me it would only be a 20 minute wait. They had the prescription filled in 14 minutes. I was impressed. They only had two people working but they were doing their best and it showed. I can forgive the log drop off line because they filled it in a prompt manner, and even thought he pharmacy was very crowded the tech never lost her cool and was pleasant the whole time. I received the worst customer service from Debra this afternoon. We came in for a snack for the kids and she looked right at me as I walked and didn't greet me. No biggie. We asked where something was and she rudely pointed us in the direction. When checking out she was so cold to my 11yr old son. I really got the racist vibe from her. And it was confirmed after she became all smiles with the white couple behind us. I will never return to this dirty store. There are not enough employees to handle the load, and they insist that everyone wait to receive prescriptions in the order received, rather than clearing the backlog. This is the worst Pharmacy i have ever been to. They are very slow and do not go or do anything to help you get you meds. Its been three days and still no resolve in them not calling the doctor or communicating with the doctor to provide the additional detail and the detail written the way CVS wants before the except it. I may loose my job behind this due to to not having the meds effects my ability to focus. There needs to be a number for customers to call to report when service is this bad and also to help respectively resolve simple issues. read more

I have no problem with the am, and evening employees... This review is strictly based on the night shift employees that work from 10:00 pm until 4:00 am... I've been coming here for 12 years, almost longer than most of those employees worked there... For some odd reason, every time i go in to buy something or pick up my mother's medicine, the manager him self follows me around like im gonna steal, even if there is a security guard present... It is very uncomfortable!!! I dont know if he's racially profiling me but i know I've heard other people complain about this specifically.. H&r needs to look into this because it's very unprofessional and quite disrespectful.... On hold with the pharmacy for 30 minutes ... finally someone picked up the phone I said hi let me take you off of speaker and the only Russian lady that works back there hung up on me. Now I am on hold for another 40 minutes still waiting for someone to pick up! If it wasn't for the fact that my insurance is already approved for this prescription at this pharmacy I would not bring my prescription here at all! I cannot believe a management team would allow someone to treat their customers like this! This is not the first time i have had an issue! I have tried to get my prescription filled here since February which was authorized through my insurance and no one wanted to do the footwork to see why it is not being authorized! I finally do THEIR JOB and call my insurance company and the were confused as to why it has not been processed. They did not even have a note as to if they tried to process the prescription or not! Meaning my insurance company did not even get notified I was trying to fill my prescription! I told the guy to have someone call the insurance company today and i one did! I am appalled at the quality of service they provide to their customers! I will definitely be speaking with a supervisor and writing into corporate as this should not be the general way you treat your customers! WAS ON HOLD FOR 2 HOURS! FINALLY WHEN SOMEONE PICKED UP IT WAS LAUREN WHO GAVE ME THE BIGGEST ATTITUDE! SHE KEPT CUTTING ME OFF WHEN I WAS ON THE PHONE! I ASKED HER A QUESTION AND SHE WAS SPEAKING OVER ME... I was faced with the absolute worst customer service ever......I went to drop a prescription off for daughter who was waiting to be released from hospital at 8pm on Friday. There was only 1 person ahead of me so the wait wasn't long at all......first thing the rudest clerk ever said was that there would be a 3 - 4 hour wait, before even looking at the prescription. Then after she briefly looked she said there were 2 of the medications they didn't have and wouldn't be able to get until Wednesday..... I asked her if she could check other pharmacies, she looked at me like I was crazy and felt out said " no, you check" she was so disinterested in her job or any form of customer service. I went across the street to Walgreens and experienced the complete opposite, I received 5 star service with out even asking, the technician there went above and beyond to be of service. I have been using save-on drugs lately because I find every item I've ever needed from a drug store in there and their prices have been lower than places where I used yo shop. Parking is also not bad. I can run in there late at night and they are open. The store is always busy but they add a cashier when needed so the wait is not bad. I can't say that about the pharmacy counter because sometimes I have waited for my medicines for a long time but the stag were polite and apologetic and that makes the waiting easier. read more

Good part of town, convenient but the outside is dirty, a lot of peddlers loitering, drug deals made in the parking lot. These activities are in the daytime I would NOT go there after dark and if you do go inside be on alert. If you can, you might want to find another pharmacy. I have found the staff at this one yo be rude and not efficient. They constantly get my prescription wrong and do not follow the orders given by my doctor. When I decided to change to another pharmacy, I notified them. They however continue to fill the prescription, still incorrectly, causing a problem with my insurance. Updated my review to reflect one star when I found out they once again, filled a prescription they did not have the authorization to fill, and charged my insurance company saying I had picked it up. Not just once but for two months in a row. First made of copy from my insurance site, to have proof, then contacted CVS main headquarters asking them to contact me immediately. Surprise, never heard from them, however the incorrect information did get deleted from my insurance claim page. Have to wait forever for your prescription to be filled even though you are the only one in line, you wait 30 minutes or more - they need to readjust there way of doing business and try to fill the ones for people that are waiting instead of those that have been called in or have people assigned to both jobs. Absolute worst customer service experience I have ever witnessed. My fiance had a horrible accident and at about 330pm I had the RN call in his RX from Henry Mayo. I tried to call but ofcourse the phone is always busy and cannot get through. I wanted this to be ready because the hospital is an hr away and he had this thumb amputated, you can only imagine the amount of pain he would be feeling once his meds subsided. We get to CVS. I go in and I def had the hard copy RX in my hand bc my fiance reminded me to make sure I bring them in (esp since it was not my order, duh). So I go in the pharmacist (Sarah) tells me it's not ready to come back in an hr. I was already pissed bc I had a feeling something was gonna go wrong and the store smelled completely like feces and vomit, so disgusting. We both come back in an hour and wait in a ridiculous line for 25 minutes. Another pharmacist says 1 Rx wont be in until tomorrow, 1 has to be ordered in person, and the other one is ready. Ofcourse the pain reliever we need was not ready. So we have to go to the drop off and guess whos there, Sarah. I tell her, "you told me to come back in an hr and did not mention that 1 Rx needed to be ordered in person and 1 wont even be available until tomorrow and now my fiance is in extreme pain" Instead of apologizing or trying to expedite the situation and fix HER error, she tells me that I never brought in the RX and that its gonna be another hour. I told her no its not going to be an hour he needs his pain medication now and I know I brought in the RX. Clearly she did not look at the RX order on the computer or in person or she would have know the one RX wouldnt even be in until tomorrow and that one needed to be ordered in person. What an inconsiderate incompetent employee. Needless to say an hr later we finally got his pain medication and high tailed it out of there so I could breathe fresh air again. Probably need an RX just after visiting that disgusting store. Horrible customer service, slow service, non sympathetic, feces smelling, dirty CVS. Yuck Yuck Yuck. I will be going to Walgreens right across the street from now on. Better service, cleanliness, AND they have a Redbox :) .
