I would like to give a huge shout out to Fabiee M for going above and beyond on helping me resolve my on going issue that I have been dealing with my workers comp transitioning with prescriptions and instead of brushing me off like the pharmacist did she took the time and patience to help me get through this experience smoothly and efficiently. CVS needs to hire more people like her and or acknowledge them for their dedication and services. Need an urgent prescription, called multiple times before I came over. Nobody answered the phone. Left a message to call me back no calls back. Drive all the way over from the other side of town, store is empty. Three people in the Pharmacy area, one eating pizza, the other two talking and drinking a drink. She looks everything up and then tells me she can't have anyything ready till tomorrow morning because they are so busy and it would just go in the back of the line. She states they still have prescriptions from this morning. They haven't filled. She then just goes into repeating herself over and over. I can't have anything ready till tomorrow morning. The store is literally empty and nobody's in the drive-through. Unbelievable!!! The staff here really makes the company look bad!! read more

Terrible. 3rd time here today. After 2nd I'll get a phone when prescriptions are ready. I bring my dog with me and go to the drive thru after waiting 23 minutes. The girl wants to know why I'm here, well duh to get my prescriptions. Only one prescription is ready, then why the hell did you call me. They are now going to rush to fill other prescription! At this point I'm hoping the dog will pee on something-he didn't! Another 30 minutes goes by and finally get my meds. On the way home I get a call my meds are ready! I have had nothing but good experiences at this pharmacy when I used to live in this area. Large Cvs. but it is not always easy getting someone to help you with a question or problem here. They need to hire more people . They probably have since I was last here. But so far, its a good store. read more

Pharmacist Gabriella Cepeda(?) is very rude. I asked to pay some drinks I had because she was allowing everyone else to do it as they were picking up medication and she told me no that I had to pay in the front. I spoke to the store manager and he said I should've been allowed to pay there if I had picked up prescriptions She still made fun of the situation by saying sarcastically have a nice night. I highly "DONT" recommend using this pharmacy. I've used a few different drive through pharmacy's over the years but Almost every time I go to this location it takes forever. When I go it's never real busy but takes forever. Not sure what else's they do in the drive through besides pick up and drop off but I've waited over 20 minutes with only one car head of me. Filling prescriptions also takes a while. Basically have to drop off as early as you can so maybe it will be filled before they close. If you need any prescriptions I would go somewhere else or you will just waste a lot of time using this one. Going inside location you get the same service so at least they are consistently slow. read more

I put in a prescription they said it would take 1 hour or less. The window teller also hit the mirror on my car not telling me she was opening the drawer and did not acknowledge it or apologize. About 1.5 hours later I call they say we don't have one of the medications. They said we tried to text/call you - they did not. I asked to confirm my phone number and it was correct. They said we can transfer the missing medication to another store that opens in about 9 hours. They said the other medication will be done in 1 hour or less (again). They did not call/text again so I called back about 2.5 hours later and the answering machine said it was ready. Terrible service - I highly do not recommend! read more

Terrible experience on Christmas Day with the pharmacy dude who has no clue about the business' practices. I was here a couple of weeks ago for my booster - all great, it was done fairly quickly, I had no appointment - per their website and sign right outside they accept walk ins. The dude kept saying they don't and to make an appointment and that they no longer accept walk ins (which is not true - they didn't on Xmas day as there was nobody to do it). It is frustrating he had no clue and was rude about it. read more

Pharmacy drive-thru had me stuck in line for an hour. Car drivers (including me) were stuck there without being able to get out because the window took so long to give people their pickups. Even though my prescription has been ready, it still took them 15 mins to give me my prescription. Id recommend to go inside but from the window they had a long line there too. read more

If I could figure out how to give these bozos zero stars, I would have - after tonight, you would too. We've had a lot of problems with this particular CVS pharmacy, the one at East Bonanza and North Lamb in East Las Vegas. No shopping carts because "they keep getting stolen." Low stock because "we're waiting on back-order." Incredibly long lines in pharmacy and at the front register because "we're short staffed." All presented as if its somehow the customer's fault hat they can't run a decent store. I keep coming because they have all our scripts, and it's a hassle to change that many prescriptions. After tonight, though, it's a hassle I'm happy to go through. As noted, lately it's been getting worse, but tonight takes the cake. First, some background. I'm 71 and have health issues. My wife Lynn is 68, also with health issues, but most of all, she's suffers from the after-effects of a broken back that never really healed, so she requires some potent pain medications. When they're back-ordered, she pays the prices for that. These are meds that, for the past several months, CVS always seems to have on back-order. This particular script should have been filled Friday (this is Monday night as I write this), but CVS was out, and "no deliveries on the weekend" - so I was told to check back Monday. Last night (Sunday) I was picking up one for me, and asked about Lynn's unfilled script. "It should be here by 4 pm tomorrow" I was told. Fine. Tonight at 8:26 pm I called their system, and the automated program told me the scrip in question was "in process," and it would be ready in 30 minutes, at 8:56. This message means someone put the script in the queue and planned to fill it within 30 minutes. Which means it was in-stock, which is important for later. I swung by, ironically at 9:26, an hour after I was told it would be ready at 8:56. The clerk checked and said it wasn't ready. So I questioned her, telling her what her own system told me, and what "in process" means for a prescription. She got flustered and started changing her story. Finally she said they didn't have any, and that she'd have to ask the pharmacist. So I told her to do that, as I wanted to speak to the pharmacist. I waited a few moments (not too long - no complaint there), when a very soft-spoken voice came through the tinny, sub-par drive-through speaker. At first I couldn't hear him, and mentioned that. Then I heard - and I swear to God, this is exactly what I heard - a high-pitched, faux-feminine voice said "Narco? You want sweet, sweet Narco?" He literally sounded like Golem from Lord of the Rings, saying sweet nothings to "My Precious." Except he said this with an accented, child-like feminine voice. That "sweet, sweet Narco" crap really pissed me off. Climb into my shoes and, friend, you'd do the same. A person you love is in pain, and this bozo is trying to crack jokes. I told him the script was for my wife's broken back, and that her broken back was no laughing matter. So he dropped that childlike, fake-feminine-sounding affectation, but instead began talking to me in a voice that sounded like it was from South Asia - which is not an issue, except the accent didn't sound real. Like a stand-up comic trying to mimic that accent in a joke. Ignoring that as it wasn't an issue - yet - I went through how I'd been told the meds would arrive by 4, and that I called and their automated system said it was in process - which means somebody (probably him) had been working on filling it, and that it would have been filled more than a half-hour ago. Like the pharma-tech, he couldn't keep his fake-sounding story straight, and even went over to "check on it." All with this fake-sounding accent, which was sounding more and more affected as it went along. By his actions, he convinced me that the meds were there, that he was yanking my chain (not sure why he'd want to do that.) Still, that's the conclusion I drew. Realizing that I had no leverage over him, I just decided to leave. But before I did, I asked him his name, and in an unaccented voice, he said "Mike." Who knows who he really is? Lynn thinks the accent might be real, but to me it sounded fake. Just like the rest of the disinformation he tried to feed me. So, if you're in East Las Vegas, steer clear of the CVS at E. Bonanza and N. Lamb. They don't have any shopping carts, and the really, really don't care. Their in-store stock seems to be getting steadily lower - more and more shelves have few or no products on them. It feels like they're trying to wind down, sell the existing stock, then shut the place down. Don't know that for a fact, but I worked in healthcare for decades (retired now), and that's how it's done. If you're going to close the place, run at low stock and minimum staffing, then keep going until you're out of stock, then close. Strictly about the CVS Pharmacy, not the store workers - they are ALWAYS wonderful! We've been coming to this location for many years and they have some new faces working. The girl who helped us has zero customer service skills and acted like we were disturbing her. Seriously, sorry for having you do part of your job which is customer assistance! She was young with long black hair, didn't catch her name. Working 5pm on 8/9/19. We made an appointment to have my daughters Immunizations through the CVS website. I was sent a confirmation of time, CVS location and what shots she needed. I made the appointment 2 days before. When we went in and told her we were there for an appoint, she looked at me like I was speaking a different language. She assumed I was at the wrong location and said so. I showed her my email and what vaccines we needed as proof. Long story short, they aren't notified of scheduled appointments for vaccinations even though they're website allows customers to do it. I over heard them say that it's a "stupid computer mess up". Turns out they were out of one of the vaccines and I wasn't notified before coming in. When I asked her if she could check other locations, she only offered to give me the numbers to call. She never apologized for the inconvenience and pretty much gave us the "this isn't my problem" vibe. I got more information from overhearing their conversation than her actually helping us. Location should really consider training your Pharmacy Techs in people skills. read more

So I set up an appointment on-line for a vaccine shot and flu shot at the nearest CVS pharmacy where both are available. I register online, make the appointment, confirm the appointment (etc.), then show up at the correct time on the correct day. Wait in line. And when it's my turn, I step up and get informed: "Oh. We don't have the vaccine. Didn't anyone call you?" No, I reply, nobody called. Nobody sent an e-mail. Nobody did squat, as usual. And, once again, I discover I have wasted a chunk of my afternoon because of the blithering incompetence of CVS pharmacies. Because this afternoon's exercise in time-wasting isn't an isolated occurrence. CVS drops prescriptions and runs out of vaccines on a regular basis. (Seems to be a corporate practice.) Is there ever a communication about it? Nope. You find out about the non-availability when you get to the front of the line and somebody in a white coat lets you in on the bad news. Sometimes there's a pro-forma apology. Sometimes not. Today I was told nobody called about the missing vaccine was because I was on the "wrong list", whatever the hell that means. So, if you have ANY options besides dealing with CVS, do yourself a large favor and take them. There might be some other large, lumbering, brain-damaged drug chain which is worse than CVS, but off the top of my head I can't think of one. read more

These people take their time to fill prescriptions. They don't care if it's medication that's needed right away. I've had to wait over 24hrs for 1 prescription foe my sons ADHD. They also take their time answering phone calls and that's if they even pick up the call. Overall the worst experience, no care for the customers or knowledge on basic info. read more

I absolutely HATE CVS. I am forced to use them for my health insurance drug plan, but because they got that contract, and because we are locked in, they feel like they don't have to EARN our business anymore with even basic customer care because they got their millions with the corporate drug benefit contract. BUT -- Today, in a crisis, the CVS pharmacy manager Kyle Folk was ACTUALLY profession and helpful. He was willing to help us get a vacation override for critical meds left behind, but realized it would be quicker and faster to do a partial fill for a rx that could not be refilled yet, AND we wouldn't have to file a claim. At CVS, it really is about who you get on what day. There is no consistent level of professionalism across the stores, unlike as at Walgreens. CVS is so well known for lousy service, and they earn that reputation every day. But today I am granting CVS a grade of 3 stars (average), because usually they get 1 star from me. read more

This CVS pharmacy is 1 of 2 locations that has a 24/7 pharmacy but it's pointless because on Friday May 13th 2022 at 9:45pm the woman behind the counter said prescriptions don't get filled at night and won't be filled until 9:00am the following day. So thank you CVS at Bonanza and Lamb for employing someone who was bothered by my being there and for being a pointless 24/7 pharmacy. I guess leaving someone straight out of emergency care in a hospital to go look and seek out another pharmacy now in the middle of the night is 24/7 customer service. read more

Fast, friendly, drive through pharmacy. I take my brother here when I run him to the dr. etc. and they are always friendly. It's not the best of neighborhoods but it's clean inside this CVS and they have everything you need. Again, I use it for the drive through pharmacy and they are bomb fast. read more

Let's talk about DALE THE PHARMACIST!! The worst type of human on this planet. The most rudest, loudest person in the medical field I have ever came across . As a medical assistant myself, I am all about patient care & obviously this guy knows nothing about it . He had the nerve to tell me "well that's not happening" when I asked to pick up my prescription tonight as I was dropping it off. Instead of saying "okay it can be ready in 30min or 1 hour, however long it was going to take. I have had so many complaints already from my own patients but dealing with him first hand is disgusting ! Never have I met such a horrible person. I love this pharmacy. You can tell the workers really like each other. I will say on weekends and late at night they are slow. Not their fault. The are the only cvs open in Las Vegas That's a corporate problem! They have always been kind to me and filled my prescriptions promptly. I was in the store once when an uniformed police officer was in there trying to fill a script "for his wife". He was freaking out. I think the staff handled it great. It was scary to have a police officer screaming at you to get the drugs. Soooo don't go in on weekend or late at night if you are in a hurry. Otherwise it's great!! read more

called three times to check on prescription status, their telephone system is useles, all three times no answer at all after waiting 10 to 20 min. went to the store and Mayra attended, very rude, and condescending, when I asked her why didnt I get someone to answer the phone she answered that they were extremely busy. Went to CVS to buy my husband some eye drops and got a few other miscellaneous items. Finally we go up to the front to pay and as soon as I get there Me , My sister & husband are accused of stealing some 99c Items by the security guard Dee, an African American lady @12:04am on 6/28/19. It was very very unprofessional of her to accuse us of something we hadn't done in any way and she seemed certain we had stolen items in our bags . Definitely not a good candidate for a security guard to accuse honest people of theft ! Definitely unsatisfied and humiliated in public by the security guard! Worst pharmacy ever I only used it this time bc my amazing Neighbor Pharmacy is closed on weekends. it has been almost 24 hrs since the Urgent care sent a Prescription for my daughters inhalation solution and they have not been able to fill it. Well after getting there and waiting 7 minutes in line (I was the second person in line and a lady standing around told me she had already been waiting 40 minutes for a prescription she was told would be ready at 4pm, it was already 4:40pm) The girl behind the counter did not say hello or anything and just looked at me, so I handed her my prescription and she started typing it in, then I put my drug card on the table and she took that one also. Then she says "Its this store policy to not accept that drug card for this medicine (You see on the drug cards website it said CVS there would take their card FOR this medication and it would be $22.94, so without it, they can charge me $210 for it) So VERY rude service and does not take insurance EVEN when your insurance card says they will. So in other words they are trying to steal from people SO BE CAREFUL. read more

The store staff are very friendly; however, the pharmacy staff are rude, short, and very unprofessional. I had to interact with three different pharmacy staff during my visit and each one was very very unfriendly. I felt like my presence there was interrupting their activities behind the counter. I truly hate going to the pharmacy there. No one smile and they are not personable at all. I usually have a good experience here well ok experience really. Pretty much the reason why I haven't done a review. Pretty chill in the store workers are stocking and always greet me at the door as I walk in. Even when I am rush past, there is one woman there that wears makeup and always has the best tips on the products in the hair and makeup isle and another woman that I have met only a couple of times and she was cool very professional all the ladies there that work at the cashier section. But today I am guessing this lady was new, as I was waiting in line after getting my purchases I overheard her conversation with the customer mostly laughing and light convo. I am like okay another cool lady working here............nope I walked up and was greeted I greeted her and her exact words were " all right done talking" and she proceeded with a light laughter. I looked at her like what? Like what's the point of all that. I kept the conversation normal just asked if I was able to use discounts if possible and at the end thanked her and took my items she looked slightly upset but hey I don't have to be unhappy with you. read more

i went to this cvs today mind you i just had surgery on my underarm and the new pharmacist nikki stated she could not fill my medication until she did a background check now mind you i have been going to this pharmacy for 5 plus years now this same one ive delt with mel cryus jenna chris kyle valarie, etc well today they were awful well nikki and valarie anyways ive gotten the same medication several times and this is the first time i have ever heard of a pharmacy background checking anybody plus i drive to this location which is we 20 minutes from my house just because i hate transferring well it looks like now the time has come i will be transferring mine and my families to something closer to home.... read more
