This CVS Pharmacy is horrendous and super lacking in customer service. It's appalling how this establishment continues to operate the way it does. That pharmacist , Mo, is despicable. She should be fired!!! Pretty much anytime my wife's prescriptions claim to be ready they are not ready. I then have to wait around for 20-30 minutes for them to get it ready. Terrible place. Communication is nonexistent, they constantly have stock issues that no other pharmacy in my life has ever had, and the staff are just rude regardless of how nice you are to them. They move at a snail's pace when giving people their prescriptions, and they close for "lunch" early, so DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THEIR WEBSITE SAYS. I've been turned away despite getting in line at 12:28 P.M., even though they close at 12:30. I read some of the comments regarding this branch of CVS. It doesn't look like they had a lot of positive reviews. But from the CVS that I used to go to, and live nearby, this place was Disneyland. Everybody was helpful and informative. On top of that, the parking lot was clean and the store was clean. Everything was in clear sight And stocked. I was happy to go here and get exactly what I needed without having to ask for too much help. Even upon checkout, a cashier was friendly and wished me well. Customer service continues to decline. First they started closing for lunch. Now they don't answer the phone. You have to leave a voicemail if you need to speak to someone. Corporate office says this is a store decision. The store says it is a corporate decision. The employees are generally helpful, tho the lines can be long. And if you get in line at 12:20 and finally get to the window at 12:29 they will not serve you since they close at 12:30 for lunch. Come back at 1:00 they say. Corporate policy they say. It's been about a year now since my initial review... and I have NOTHING better to say. I'm really not trying to be a Karen or anything but this pharmacy is so horrible!!! It is our "preferred" pharmacy though through insurance, otherwise I would change in a heartbeat. We still continue to have issues. EVERY SINGLE MONTH except for one since my initial review. My husband just dropped off the prescription yesterday and was told it would "be ready in one hour". We didn't need it at that moment, so he came home and I was going to pick it up today. I drive the 15+ minutes from our house and as I'm getting into Marysville, I get a text saying that it was "on order", so I called them. They didn't have it in stock and it won't be here until Tuesday. TUESDAY! He dropped it off at noon on Thursday. Not only that, but they said it would be ready in an hour and didn't bother to tell him it was out of stock!!! The month prior, I dropped the prescription off and had the intention of picking it up the next day as my stepson had one day left of his medication. No sooner than I get all the way home, they call and leave a voicemail saying it's out of stock. I was really irritated by this because I could have attempted to take it elsewhere and paid extra, had they said that upon drop off. So, I call back and get the pharmacist. I didn't hide the fact that I was really frustrated. He put me on hold and came back a few minutes later and what do you know? He magically came across just the right quantity of the dose of the medication we needed. Sketchy much? It's a controlled substance. You weren't able to tell that you had any in stock on your computer system??? It was just a weird conversation in general. Anyways, it's always something. Every. Damn. MONTH. I'm really over this CVS, nothing changes. I have the DMs phone number from like a year ago and I'm now going to attempt to contact him again and see if he is still the current DM. I made an appointment to get a flu shot. Scheduled for 3:45pm. 4pm rolls around and nothing. Multiple employees with masks pulled down. One girl was prepping prescriptions and was literally licking her fingers as she went through the papers. How can you trust a pharmacy that doesn't follow basic COVID procedures??! I am currently having a dispute with my medical insurance. Long story short this dispute should be over shortly. I went to pick up my medication it was $110. The young lady behind the counter that I believe is one of the pharmacists took the time to find a discount card looked over everything and saved me over $85. Believe the reviews, I would not recommend this pharmacy, and very recently transferred all of my wife and I's medication to Rite Aid. A bit further than we'd like to drive, but worth it to not have to deal this mess. Our parents are following as well. 2 stars because Teal IS a good manager in resolving issues. This CVS store recently opened in a new shopping center located along Highway 20 along with Starbucks, Radio Shack, and Panda Express. This store is a lot better than the old CVS which was a converted Longs Drugs. It is a smaller store now but it is shiny and new. The prices are still the same but it looks like they have replaced some of the associates from the old location. One waring about this new store, it has very cramped parking. just watch out or you'll get a couple of dings on your auto. read more

The drive-thru is ridiculously slow. The left lane is for Covid testing and the right lane is closed quite often due to broken equipment. I was stuck in line for over an hour and a half with no way to get out and only 4-5 cars in front. The next visit I was 2nd in line, waited 20 minutes and the car in front still hadn't moved. I was able to leave this time but the line inside wasn't much better. I still had a 20 minute wait in line for pick up.Between CVS absorbing the Medicine Shoppe customers, the Covid testing in the drive thru and the broken equipment, I would NOT recommend this pharmacy. read more

I usually go to Walmart pharmacy for all my prescription's, unfortunately they was a back order on one of my pills so, they told me I could go to CVS. I went to CVS and explained to them about the back order and they had the prescription I needed. They said they had to get hold of Walmart and verify the prescription. She said give us a couple hours and call them at 3. I called at 3:30 and she said she still hasn't got the information they needed from Walmart, so I called Walmart. The lady at Walmart told me they haven't received anything from CVS concerning my meds. The lady at Walmart told me to have CVS call them instead of faxing. I called CVS back and told them to call Walmart. That was yesterday. Just called now and my meds are still not ready they said give them a couple more hours. I went in to pick up prescriptions for my Grandpa, as I do so every couple weeks for over 8 years, obviously we have a CVS care card and his birthday memorized. This time they asked for my I.D. and refused to give me the prescription because the prescription is under my Grandpa's name. California has no such laws in place for picking up prescriptions, therefor I will be consulting with my attorney for breaching California State Board Of Pharmacy laws. Asking for my I.D. is illegal when the script was HAND WRITTEN by my Grandpa's doctor, who is also elder and doesn't fax or phone in prescriptions. This pharmacy has been nothing but a headache to me. Everytime I go pick up a prescription, there's some kind of issue. There always seems to be 10 people in the pharmacy working, yet prescriptions are never done when they say they'll be done. I was told my prescription would be filled in a hour and a half today, so I went to do some errands and returned two hours later only to be told it hadn't yet been filled and it would be another hour!!! It was a pain medication for a injury so I had to wait. Pharmacy technician was very very very rude about it, and I received no apology for the inconvience but was instead told "it wasn't her fault or problem!!" unfortunately this is the only pharmacy nearby that takes me insurance, so I'm forced to go here. I've also had a time recently where I was called and told my refill was ready for pick up, but when I came to get it was told it hadn't been refilled and would take a hour to fill. I haven't had a single positive experience with this pharmacy, and I would be more understanding if the staff were kinder and didn't act like I'm a inconvenience to them for not wanting to wait 3 hours for one prescription!!!! Good customer service goes a long way and this pharmacy is seriously lacking... I'm changing pharmacies and would rather drive a hour to a different one then to deal with this cvs!
