This is the worst CVS I have ever been to. You cant find a cashier when you have a problem paying with the machines they have and when you finally find someone they have a bad attitude and look like they don't care about helping you. The place is a total joke. It's filthy, employees have a bad attitude, and maybe they are not treated right by their corporate entity, however there are things with this Media store I see no where else. Like the floors being consistently dirty, poorly stocked shelves. Now let's get to the Pharmacy. I ordered on line Restatis - got a texted they were out, we will have it in 2 days, well 7 days later nothing I stopped by the store, and saw it on the shelf - piles of containers with 30 day suppplies. Went back today and was told it came in over the weekend. Total BS. Go to the Rite aid in Media, and it's well stocked, clean, people are nice to you. Look at the drive up window in Media its filthy. Go to the CVS in Newtown Square, clean and well stocked. They should do the world a favor and shut this dump down... read more

Disappointing that I have to write this but my privacy was breached because the attendant (young, Caucasian, female with short hair, and visible facial piercings) said the name of my personal medication aloud. I will not be retuning. My medication hence my medical information is mine and shouldn't be shared. Not only is this a HIPAA violation but it's completely unethical and should've the FIRST THING that should be taught t new workers. read more

CVS is A $90 billion dollar company that treats their employees like they can't afford to give them a lunch break or hire enough people to cover shifts and call outs!! You give employees IMPOSSIBLE insensitives for bonuses. If the managing pharmacist is an as***le and the customer puts in a bad review... it gets taken out on the store manager who is actually busting his/her ass to keep that store afloat. And it cuts into their bonus too. I know a manager at a CVS and she works more than her 45 hr salary... but constantly gets $**t on by the company. She double shifts .. shows up at ridiculous hours to unload truck and is still expected to cover a full shift and at times double .. and then CVS has the audacity to deny her bonus or give her the go-ahead to hire more people. Oh... and the head pharmacist... this A$$*OLE literally NEVER shows up on time. I've been there to witness this... anywhere from 5 minutes to a half hour late REGULARLY!!! and this is reflected on his other pharmacists and the front store employees!!! CVS is a damn legalized drug dealer! They can afford to do better!!! It's not like they're ever going to get shut down if it they ACTUALLY REALLY took care of their employees. FX CVS!!! EVERYONE should boycott CVS!!! Don't take out your frustrations on my the employees. Just don't go there if you are crawling in sick or half dying, and don't even call. The pharmacy will call you back when they feel like it! You could be gone by the time they get to you. And please don't come in during lunch when the entire pharmacy staff disappears! I waited an hour and a half for prescription eye drops and then was told sorry, the pharmacist went on break, so you have to wait. I am guessing she or he or the techs count the drops. Avoid yourself the trouble and go to a different cvs. You will never reach them on the phone and they will lose your Rxs.

I am a health care provider and used this pharmacy personally. I would NOT recommend. They did not let me know my prescription was on back order until I went to pick it up. Then they didn't help me find a CVS who has it (you can't call around because CVS all use voicemail so you can't speak with anybody). If you want to use CVS, the Glen Mills location at least tried to help. I would want better for my patients and myself. Do NOT recommend this CVS. read more

On Thursday was my first day visiting the store. I usually deal with the CVS in Brookhaven. They have been very unsuccessful on getting me my medication as required by my doctor. They keep telling me it's a delivery problem I called over to the CVS in media they had it in stock, the young lady Kate, who was in the drive-through was so pleasant and nice I would be glad to go back there again. She explained my medication to me and what needed to be done and apologize for Brookhaven not having it in stock. Very nice young lady CV. I should be glad to have her as an employee That woman Kate in the drive-through, she definitely needs a raise. Thank you for making me feel like a valued customer when I came through. read more

We stopped in CVS in Media PA for some stuff midday yesterday and had an issue at the check out that unfortunately needed an employees help for. Omg you'd think we pissed in her cornflakes! She was really nasty and should definitely not have a job in customer service!!! read more

This place is a mess. Filthy. Garbage all over the floor. Even the pharmacy is filthy I can see empty pill bottles and trash laying on the floor. They messaged me to say my prescription was ready, I waited 30 minutes in line to get up to the counter to have them tell me it's still not ready. Located across from the Sunoco and Wendy's on Baltimore Pike in downtown Media. They are a bit of a tight squeeze to get in and out, with a cramped parking lot (helpful but not ideal). Also, when traffic is busy on Balt Pike, it can be a long wait to exit, especially if making a left. For these reasons, we normally visit later at night when there is little traffic. The store is compact, and a little less light-filled than other CVS locations, which is attributed to how packed they are with products in a smaller space. Nonetheless, the staff has always been friendly enough, and products have been in stock as needed. We appreciate their extended pharmacy hours. It seems CVS keeps cutting down on hours for pharmacy access, so it is refreshing to have this place somewhat nearby. Unfortunately, I have an Rx that is scarcely in stock at all my local locations (frustrating because this type of Rx should not be hard to find.). When I tried to refill this Rx with Media (when all locations closer were closed), I couldn't due to unavailability, however, the pharmacy associate did look it up and found the next-closest location for me, which was very helpful. I didn't expect that, and it was a nice touch. Loads better than the experience I recently had down the pike at their Lima location. read more

Had a $3 off $15 coupon for a makeup product. The total was $14.98 and the rep wouldn't give me the $3 off. I asked if she could do anything like a store coupon or something since I was only 2 cents away and didn't want to buy a makeup product I didn't need. She (Saba) just looks at me and says "Are you asking for a manager or something? Because that's me." And then just puts the coupon on the counter. Actually Saba, I'm not looking for a manager. I was just simply asking if you could give me a general $3 off store coupon since I was only 2 cents away from $15. I just moved to the Media area and didn't like coming here to begin with because the service is slow. This just turned me off even more. I've been in customer service for 10+ years and you look like you're fresh out of high school. That kind of thing should have just been accommodated. Just my 2 cents read more

Texted me "rx ready". Got here. Not only was it not ready, they said there was a problem with insurance. So I opted to come in and wait. I had to wait 40 min for it to be ready where surprise surprise there was absolutely nothing wrong with the insurance and It went through just fine. What is the point of having a text system? Why not text that there's a problem with my insurance? Oh also, I'm a physician who called in my own bcp pills and made sure the tech/pharmacist knew that. Then when I went to go pick up they said they couldn't find the doctor and so couldn't verify my prescription-- get this, they had spelled my name right (for the patient portion) but had misspelled the doctors name.... In response to the previous reviewer: I work at a CVS Pharmacy, but not this one. The reason that your prescription could not be filled early was not the fault of the pharmacy, but the fault of YOUR insurance provider. If a prescription is filled for a 30 day supply, the insurance company will usually not allow you to fill another prescription for the same medication until that full 30 days has passed. SOME insurance companies may allow it to be filled a day or two early, but not all. Please know the way things work, before you go criticizing the service of the pharmacy. read more

Just another CVS. The staff is helpful and friendly. However, this CVS' pharmacy seems to be a bit unorganized. I have experienced issues with this pharmacy on different occasions that do not seem to occur at other pharmacies. The pharmacy issue is why this CVS receives 3 stars instead of 4. read more

Average CVS - we stopped in for passport photos but had to wait a really long time to get them because only 1 person know how to take them. Meanwhile it had everything we needed and its own parking lot - which helps in downtown Media. read more

I'm located in DELCO, not San Francisco.......The worst pharmacy near me that my wife and I have ever used. We had been using the Sharon Hill cvs since it was built. But the last couple of years it has gone downhill at a steady rate. So we started to use the Glenolden cvs, figuring it had to be better, but we are sadly mistaken. Today was the last straw. I was lied to by a woman who answered the phone...after waiting for that horrible and long message we always have to wait for to end, until finally being patched over to the pharmacy line..where still, waiting for someone to answer. that woman answered, and told me I could not get my med that had just been scripted an hour or so before I called, because the pharmacist needed to talk to my doctor about it...and the lie? That they had tried to talk with him the day before about that med, that was just sent in. So, wait...the script had just been sent in...and they had tried to talk with my doctor the day before the script was sent??? WTF????? Here I thought the Glenolden cvs would be better... nope. For anyone interestd, those 2 stores are : cvs 702 Chester pike, Sharon Hill and cvs 159 N. McDade, Glenolden. Best bet is to AVOID both of these stores. If there were a lower score than 1 star, they both would get negative 5 We're now trying to find a good pharmacy...but not a cvs.. read more

I called with a simple request and the employee at the pharmacy acted like I was bothering her with my questions. I don't know why this person seemed to be in such a bad mood. Is it that after all those years of hard work in college it is frustrating to be day after day filling up prescription bottles? I've been going to cvs for years and this is by far the worst location I've dealt with. I am 3 months pregnant and have been vomiting 4-5 times daily. Thankfully, I was prescribed an anti nausea meds (which was a god-send), but receiving them was only a huge headache. Not only was it a waiting game but they charged me double the amount I was supposed to pay. Okay - mistakes happen, so I called to try to understand why I was overcharged - but thanks to jessica who was supposed to be "helping" us - I will be switching to acme pharmacy. Instead of calmly explaining the reasoning in this, which she had no adequate reason for, she was disrespectful. In all honesty, I felt like I was speaking to a hormonal raging teenager rather than a professional. This employee needs to learn basic phone skills. Very dissatisfied with this service and would rather lose $7 than deal with someone like her. If being pregnant wasn't hard enough, this just made me feel worse. Thanks Jessica!! read more
