    I'm going to do my best to make a long story short so bear with me. My dog requires daily…read moremedication I usually take his prescription to CVS with no issues, I was told they didn't have any in stock there or anywhere else, ok I'll try Walgreens. I drop the prescription off at Walgreens on Monday, here we are Thursday and I have called every day only to get the run around, on minute they are telling me it will be ready in 30 mins, then when I called an hour later they tell me oh no you talked to the call center they don't know anything let me look into this, she proceeds to tell me she doesn't have my dogs prescription on file and has no record of all my calls. Whatever I can get past that, so I just want to move forward, they tell me they only have half the prescription, that's fine I'll take it. I finally get the text I have been waiting for my prescription is ready! Woohoo off to the pharmacy I go. I get there only to be met with a bill for $115 for half a prescription, with CVS I get a full prescription for $37, you do the math, that's a pretty big difference pay more money for half the prescription!!!! What the heck. So I ask what is going on? The lady tells me there is a national shortage of the dose my dogs needs. I can get it in a different dose, but the vet needs to call it in, vet office is closed today. I sure wish someone would've communicated this sooner so this was all resolved a week ago!! I'm beyond disappointed and frustrated with the customer service I received from this Walgreens.

    Let me set the scene: it is Tuesday at 6pm and a full moon; my 7 year-old-son is getting dropped…read moreoff by my exhusband. I know my son has ringworm but he/his dad began treatment on Monday so approximately 36 hours. Ringworm is highly contagious and needs precaution for minimum 48 hours. I read the instructions from urgent care and immediately I'm concerned; the Doctor prescribed 2 creams for treatment: one prescription cream (which he had) and one over-the-counter... I called my exhusband thinking my son forgot it in the car... instead I was reminded why we are divorced in the first place... so I head to MY CVS (this one) to seek help. With my son's urgent care instructions in hand, I was invited to the CVS Pharmacy consultation counter. The pharmacy technicians that night were beyond kind, patient and helpful. Now for clarity, when I asked my exhusband where the second cream was, I did not realize it was over-the-counter. If I had, I wouldn't had bothered contacting him first. Since the other cream was over-the-counter, the pharmacy technician with brown scrubs walked us over to find it. He provided more clarity to the discharge instructions like he was predicting the future questions I would have once I was home. I wish I would have gotten his name because I will never forget his help, knowledge and kindness he showed this last Tuesday.

I received a text from Fry's RX on 4-13-22 that…read moremy prescriptions would be ready to pick up on 4-15-22 so I waited until 4-16-22 at about 2PM to go and pick them up only to learn that my prescriptions were not even approved yet by my doctor. as of today 4-18-22, I will have missed 3 doses from 2 separate prescriptions. why in the world can't someone fix this problem about notifying your customers when the prescriptions are not even ready ??? gas costs a lot of money these days and it's a huge waste of time. and to top it all off the pharmacy people are rude and condescending about the problem. who at Frys; is going to address this problem I know it's got to be happening to more people than just me? you can contact me at 602-390-3902.     My sister has used this location for prescription medication since she and her family moved her a…read moreyear and a half ago from out of state. On more than one occasion, she has gone to pick up a prescription only to be told it is on back order and unavailable. Simple question: why is it that no one can call and let the customer know this prior to coming into the store? This came to a head yesterday, July 10th. After recently going through a major back surgery, she and I headed to the pharmacy to pick up a medication to help with relief and her regular medication. When she got to the counter, yet again she was told BOTH medications were on back order. Again, when asking the representative at the counter why they couldn't call, she received a very snotty response, "This is the first time I am seeing your prescription today." It seems to me there is something wrong with this statement as well. She explained that after her surgery even getting out of the house is difficult because of the level of pain she is in, so a phone call would have been helpful. This way she had time to call the doctor's office to try and find an alternative. She was greeted with zero concern or sympathy. No offering solutions, no phone calls to another location to ask of the medication is available elsewhere. Later in the evening when her husband came home he called this same location and was told they had 26 pills of the medication for her back and a second location had the other daily medication. They agreed to send over the one prescription, and her husband went to pick up them both at the different locations. When he went to the second location, they had not sent over the medication. Surprise, surprise. He then had to wait longer for it to be filled. My sister is now trying to find a new location for her medications and we will no longer use this store for our grocery shopping after this epic display of incompetence. No manager was contacted, no one honestly cared. At this point, we would rather travel out of our way to pick up groceries even though this location is a mile from our home.

    I am writing to report a very disappointing experience at a CVS Pharmacy located at 2809 S Sossaman…read moreRd, Mesa, AZ 85212 on June 26 at approximately 12:25 PM. When I arrived to pick up three prescriptions for my household, there were only two customers ahead of me. The first customer was assisted and left without issue. The second customer, however, stood at the counter for close to five minutes before being acknowledged. After eventually receiving service, she left--and I later saw her returning to the store with her prescription in hand. When it was my turn, I stepped up to the counter and waited nearly 10 minutes (approximately 9 minutes total) without any acknowledgment at all--no greeting, no eye contact, and no indication that anyone would assist me. During this time, there were at least three CVS staff members behind the counter actively working on prescriptions, yet no one made any effort to assist or even acknowledge waiting customers. Additionally, a customer at the drive-thru window appeared to be waiting for an extended period as well and ultimately left after being told someone would "be right with her." This level of service is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. Even during busy periods, acknowledging customers and providing basic communication should be a priority. I had stopped using this CVS location back in late 2019 due to similar concerns, and unfortunately, this recent experience confirms that the issues have not improved. As a result, I will once again be looking for a different pharmacy. I hope CVS takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements to customer service and workflow at this location.
