Another time all I ordered was a hot dog with basic toppings (ketchup, mustard and relish). I was the only car in the line and it still took almost ten minutes. I typically don't like to buy any items outside of medications at Walgreens since they tend to be a good bit higher than many local department stores, however they are very conveniently located, lots of parking, and never too busy. That being said, sometimes I just find myself here out of convenience. I usually wouldn't have thought to review a chain pharmacy, but my last two visits there changed my mind. On a recent change of insurance, it was brought to my attention by the pharmacist VIA telephone that one of my monthly scripts had a co-pay of roughly $100.00! Yikes! I said to put it on hold and I'd be in for the others. Upon my arrival she informed me she located a coupon on my behalf and the co-pay was now $0.00! And for the next year just a quarter of what it would have been without her dedication and assistance! So shout out to Walgreens, they have their customer service and the interests of their customers as their #1 priority...

Able to pick up a quick item and be on my way. I have been taking a detour recently due to construction on 22 and traffic backing up, so Saltsburg Rd. has become old reliable. I needed to grab a few items that I didn't want or need to stop at a grocery store to get on my way to work. After making this trek for a few days and seeing the familiar purple mustang on the sign I decided why not give it a try again. Walking in, this place really hasn't changed much. Still has the same setup. I do see that they pizza offering has changed. I can't remember what pizza company they used prior, but it is a different one right now (however it does look like they aren't serving due to the pandemic). With there being a pizza place inside, that drastically cuts down on what can be offered on the convenience side. Let me tell you that this place could really use and update. It is very dated in here. The coolers definitely need to be replaced or something. There is condensation on the doors which makes it hard to see what is offered inside. It kind of reminds you of the way that 7-11 used to be set up. I grabbed a few drinks from the cooler and made my way to the register. The lady at the register is a delight. She greeted me when I walked in the store and then again when I approached the register. She asked me how my day was going and if I needed anything else...of course I did and she helped me out.
