Absolutely the worst pharmacy experience I've ever had…read more I strongly advise against filling prescriptions at this location. As many other reviewers have already mentioned, this pharmacy routinely takes multiple days to fill even the most common, straightforward prescriptions, and there is zero transparency about wait times. When you call or show up in person, staff cannot (or will not) provide a simple time estimate, and there is no sense of urgency, accountability, or customer care. The pharmacist's lack of responsiveness has become a consistent pattern, impacting countless customers. At this point, it reflects a serious management and staffing problem. Corporate should be closely evaluating the pharmacist's performance, because this level of delay and indifference is unacceptable for a healthcare provider. If you rely on timely medication, please avoid this pharmacy altogether. There are many Walgreens locations that operate professionally -- unfortunately, this is not one of them.

Take 50% of a drive-thru that only open half the time, the other half they use a shopping cart to block it. Add 25% for pharmacy staff who seem incredulous that you are asking for the meds they - Walgreens has notified you to pick up and then top it with another 22% for them grilling you to see if it is really you, because you know there apparently is a black market for meds that are non narco. I mean who knew a cold suppressant was the hottest thing in this dark web. The final 3 percent is the ad nauseam of asking for you to enter in your Walgreens number and then the "well, you wont get your rewards, if you don't" verbiage they espouse. Her is my reward to you. Go. Anywhere but here. if you reside in northern OV go to the Walgreens on Vistoso and Oracle, in Oro Valley.

Nov, 2025. Walmart Supercenter, Oro Valley, AZ. We just started a week-long vacation in the…read moreTucson, AZ area, staying in a condo with full kitchen facilities. Our plan is to balance some restaurant meals with some cooking in the unit and taking along some healthy picnic lunches and snacks on local hikes. We were impressed with the freshness in the produce area, and Walmart had some very good prices on fresh fruit and vegetables -- for instance, avocados at $0.56 each; a big clamshell of organic salad at $4.98; and 3 pounds of apples for $2.67. We also picked up some fast meals so that won't be spending a lot of time cooking while on vacation -- fresh chicken pot pie for $9.44 (4 servings) and a huge, refrigerated 16" supreme pizza for $10.97 that will be at least two meals for both of us. There were A LOT of price rollbacks on products that we looked at. One disappointment was the red plums. The sign said $1.32, which I interpreted as per pound but it turned out to be per piece of small fruit. They must be out-of-season. Another small issue was the signage. For instance, we were looking for mixed nuts and it was hard to ascertain what aisle they were in. A sales associate authoritatively sent us to a wrong aisle! Most of the check-out aisles were self-serve. We had one issue where a product went through at a higher price than expected but an associate came to correct it almost immediately. Parking was free and plentiful. We would visit this Walmart Supercenter again.

They get pretty busy yet they still take the time to make sure customers are served with efficiency. They have a decent clearance section that is maintained to not be a dump spot.

The store is always clean, and most all the staff are friendly and helpful. Dave, the cashier, is the best. We take advantage of the coupons in the mobile app, and we make a game out of collecting fuel points to save money on gas. I heard from someone the other day Marana is the fastest growing city in the country currently, which makes sense given all the houses being built. Because this is the main grocery store serving the area (and the next closest supermarket is probably a 10 to 15-minute drive), they seem to have a hard time keeping things in stock, but it has gotten better over the past couple years. It can be a pain though because I'll stop here for a specific item and they won't have it, like oregano or mushrooms. Like other stores and businesses, I'm sure they're affected by supply chain issues, but that did happen multiple times pre-COVID as well. I do know they're feeling the pinch of staff shortages. For the last couple months, the deli has been closing at 5p every day, so people who work a traditional 9-5 won't be able to get anything fresh from the deli during the week. I understand their staff need a break, but it would be nice if they mixed up the shifts and the deli closed on some mornings and stayed open later a couple days a week. They have a section with clothing and shoes, which I never see anyone shopping, so I think it's kind of a waste. It would be really cool if they took that out and added like a hot soup or salad bar! There is also a kitchen section and other housewares beyond what are typically available at a grocery store. If you need something in a pinch, it can be useful, and sometimes there are good sales in that section.
