Usually I have a neutral experience at CVS but yesterday was alot better. The cashier lady noticed I had a few bottles of wine I was purchasing were on sale with a membership card. I didn't have a customer care membership so she advised me to get one and began assisting me. There was some difficulty in getting my number in so she called the manager who was incredibly helpful. Since they took a little longer they accommodated by giving me the discount on the wine. Even though I didn't get a customer care membership due to the issues with the system, I really appreciate their professionalism and their willingness to help me. They both had wonderful attitudes and were very pleasant. Now it may not seem like much but it's their attitude and their willingness to go above and beyond to help me is what impressed me. This place f*cking sucks. I have never had a good experience here. NEVER. I now go to the CVS in Target on Highway 121. The experience is night and day. Tonight, I had the unfortunate experience of actually using this pathetic CVS at Parker and Midway. For a week.... my eyes have been red and itchy. I went into this CVS and asked the poorly-educated trash pharmacist if she could recommend some eye drops for me. Rather than offering up a suggestion, she simply said "I would recommend an eye doctor." Wow.... that helps A LOT on a Friday night. Thanks for nothing. read more

Now the store assistant in this store is mean, I was marely asking a normal question about some things and she's the best person to ask since she the "STORE ASSOCIATE " and I got yelled at like I was bothering her. Yes times are hard with the Corona virus causing stress and anxiety but that's not how you treat customers who are coming to the store/ pharmacy. The lady by the cash register was so nice. The store associate need some refresher course on customer service and maybe a break too, it's such people like her that stain CVS and get everyone dented coz of bad attitude. My scripts have always been completed on-time and correct. Pharm Techs seen knowledgeable- especially acknowledging there are coupons available for my scripts Drive Thru is great for dropped off scripts Why not a 5? Will run out of sale items quickly. Never able to get my Rx on time even when they are essential and needed to start immediately. Never able to get anyone to answer the phone. They always appear to be chaotic and unorganized. I would rather drive an extra 20mins to my old pharmacy then to go here and it's within walking distance of my house. Don't go here...This is the worst CVS Pharmacy ever. I've sent my prescription here a few times and they always say they will text me and never do. I always have to call. This last time I called and they said they're working on it. I called back 4 hours later and they tell me it's not in stock they had to order it. It wouldn't be in until the next evening. Not sure why they didn't call to see if I wanted to go to another location. I called back the following morning and it was already there just waiting to be put together. If I waited for them to call me I'd prob die from this pneumonia. read more

Horrible, Probably the worst CVS in Plano. Takes forever to get a RX. Even simple Z-Pack takes an hours to fill. Stuff is pretty rude. They are working very hard to show you that you are not welcome! It's pretty upsetting when a drugstore can't count. BY 30! My prescription was for 60 pills I was shorted by half! When I got home, opened the bag and looked at the container I knew I had been shorted. So why were there initials by the quantity of 60?! Tell me CVS, if you can't count pills why are you in business? Why do I have to be inconvenienced to go get the correct amount, my gas and my time, for your mistake? This is your basic CVS, drop off, pick up, fully stocked with anything you'd need pharmacy or otherwise. They have a drive thru and the location is right across from the hospital so that's convenient. It's close to my work so drop off at lunch and pick up on the way home. Their pharmacy is WAY overworked! See a lot of complaints, but I have never had a problem. Everyone has always been pleasant and helpful. Everything has always been accurate and on-time. I will recognize that the volume of prescriptions this pharmacy puts out is enormous. Maybe if you get some more help here your overall ratings will go up. And your employees will probably enjoy their work more and last longer. Great sales here after holidays, pick something up for next year next time you stop in after a holiday. Prices on sale items are great, love the coupons and credits... and the convenience. Just because you had one bad experience don't judge the overall positives. And please try to appreciate the employees who are doing their best to serve you. read more

Last time to use their pharmacy - they either need to expand or add some pharmacists - last 3 visits too busy to fill my 94 year old dads rx quickly even when I explained situation - went to Tom Thumb and done in 10 minutes I understand why they have so many poor reviews - so done with them. No longer going to this pharmacy. Have had the worst experiences here. 1. Had to go into the pharmacy 4 times in one week trying to get my birth control filled. 2. They couldn't figure out the goodrx coupon I had even though I had used it for months in the past. Which may not have totally been their fault but the main pharmacist refused to help the lady & I had to stand there for 20 minutes until she finally figured out that she could just add the coupon I had used in previous visits that was in my file. 3. Most recent prescription I tried to refill I didn't have the time to come in 4 times in one week. So I called and stayed on hold for 10 minutes at a time 8 times today. Never got ahold of anybody. read more

Pharmacy here is terrible. I came through the drive-thru since I had sick kids with stomach flu( I would not want to pass that on).When I get here they tell me they don't have anything from our doctor. I call and yes they do so I go back through again and magically there it is. They said they didn't have my ins info so I give it to them again. The girl tells me it will be about 10 min before it's ready. My phone was ringing but I didn't answer since I'm dealing with her at the window. As I drive off to at least take my sick kids home and I will return alone. Guess who it was the pharmacy left a message to tell me my tx is ready for pickup! So I go through again to wait in line, but didn't get the same girl. I'm glad I didn't I do not like to be mean to people but this was not worth my time. read more

Very, very so upset with this CVS location at Parker Road and Midway in Plano, Texas. I had a very major spine fusion surgery and was shorted 37 of 90 count RX of controlled substance. I went back and spoke with the pharmacist about the shortage and of course it was their word against mine. I need my medication and I will have to go 12+ days without. I think they have a thief working there, but how can I prove this? Not a good experience, plus I paid for what I did not get. Harrumph. read more

They have no idea what they are doing. I've been standing here waiting to get a prescription for the last 30 mins. There is obviously something wrong in the system and they can't sell it to me for some reason, they cannot figure out. Do they tell me this and express any kind of remorse for them being ill equipped? No, they stand there and keep up there side duties as if I don't exist. The staff up front is always pretty nice and customer service oriented, but the pharmacy will never get my business again. read more

I thought I would give curbside service a try. Ordered two items-Flonase and tissues at 4:06 pm, got an immediate order confirmation saying it would be ready in approximately 1 hour and that I'd receive a text updating me. 5:00 pm I received that text saying my order was being processed so I headed to the store. 5:15 pm Got another text that my order would be ready at 5:15. I'm outside the store at this time, watching the front door. No one is bringing me an order. 5:25 pm I go into the store and am told (after I wait for a store clerk) that he has no record of my order, he cannot access the system because the store manager and assistant manager are off today and they did not give him the login and password. He apologized and suggested I reorder. REALLY?? WHY??? I cancelled my order and left. As a side note: the cashier was surly, the most unfriendly cashier I have ever seen at a CVS. This place is horrible. I've been coming here for years and the last year or so has been a terrible experience every time. I drop off prescriptions and they dont get filled, the lines take forever. Expect to wait a long time through the drive through. Which usually isn't even that crowded when I go!!! They just take forever. Go somewhere else. read more

Pharmacy Staff is very polite but lacks efficiency. Dropped off a prescription requesting to wait for it. Was told it would be read in 30 min and that they would text when ready. 1 hour and 15 min later still no text. Went thru drive thru. Staff said they didn't have a prescription for me. Their "photo center" doesn't even have the capability of printing a 5x7 picture. They sell it to you as 5x7 but they print it on 6x8 photo paper, so it has a huge white border around it. What a joke. read more

My personal experience with the staff was great. They did not have the prescription we needed but went above and beyond to find the script for us. Time is a huge deal considering my wife needed the shot for her her fertility treatment. To have the staff all get on the phone and system to help really exuded customer service. My doctor had to call in my prescription three times before they filled it. It took 3 days to get my meds. The pharmacist is rude.

Service from the woman manager with the 1980s hair style who opened up in the morning was terrible. She treated people badly. I found her to be lacking in good character. Bad attitude, very very unfriendly, unhelpful, disrepectful, discourteous, selfish, ill-mannered, unthoughtful, and rude to the max. Whatever happened to following the golden rule, huh? -- to treat people with respect,well didn't get that from her there. This woman seemed self-absorbed and self-centered in herself and didn't seem to care for no one but herself. Uncaring, selfish, unhelpful, inconsiderate, ill-mannered "people" like this are symptomatic of what's wrong with the world these days. Perfect example and sign of increasing incivility in American society these days. What the heck is wrong with people and their lack of decency towards others? I'm very disappointed. read more

I don't even know where to start with this review so you'll be left with what's occurring at this very moment! I dropped my prescription off 48 hours ago and am here waiting to pick it up. Waiting being the key word...the pharmacist asked if I received a call from them bc this medication is not in stock!!!! Of course I did not but if it wasn't in stock 2 days ago why isn't it in stock NOW!!??? Please do not come to this location or any other CvS for that matter...unbelievable. Script update...9 days later still no script!!! Same pharmacist as last time you promised me it would be in 2 days. I have them 9 and guess what!!??? It's not ready. Same lines as last time...he didn't cal you? Oh, I'm so sorry. He ordered the capsule but your prescription was for the tablet. It will be ready this week. To be continued... Thank goodness I'm not on my death bed and need these meds! Well...went today to pick up my prescription after receiving a phone call Monday stating is was ready. I told the young woman I was there to pick up my prescription and handed her my license. She came back and said they didn't have anything ready for me... I asked for the pharmacist and told the woman I received a call Monday that it was ready. The pharmacist came and it was the same man that I had spoken to before. He quickly grabbed the prescription for me and apologized. I asked why the young lady said nothing was ready and he smiled and again apologized. By this time the young lady was standing next to him and I asked her. She quickly replied that I had asked for the pharmacist, I quickly replied no and that I was here for a pick up. She attempted to argue with me and when I stated what if I had driven off without asking for additional assistance? You could tell she was very put off and was trying to put her mistake back on me. The pharmacist trying to make light of the situation apologized again... I finally gave up when neither of hem were understand in my frustration and let them know I had already changed pharmacies.. read more

I'd give zero stars if that were an option. Where do I begin...? Well, let's start with the fact that the lines at this location are beyond ridiculous. I assume it's because most of them don't know what they're doing. And God forbid you drop off a Sch II script because unless it is absolutely perfect to their standards they will not fill it. My scripts have been rejected there on multiple occasions - at least 3 times that I can recall. Of course I take them to the CVS on Park and they fill them immediately without issue or hesitation. Oh and what was their reason you ask... Well, for one of them the script had an ink smudge. Yeah a tiny teeny smudge that was CLEARLY beyond a doubt a result of the pen's ink bleeding. On another occasion it was because there was 2 different types of ink. I calmly explained that's actually quite normal b/c most doctors sign and date the script and have their assistants fill out the rest. They didn't care. Another time I went to get a dropped off a Sch III script - something quite innocuous, and the guy told me it would be ready in the usual 2 hours. So I go home and come back 3 hours later and SURPRISE it's STILL not ready. So the guy asks me to come inside and wait 15 minutes while he gets it ready. I'm sitting inside directly in front of all of them quietly and patiently for 30 minutes. FINALLY one of them has the sense to ask me if I'm waiting for something. I say yes I'm waiting on my script which he told me is being filled. The head pharmacist (and apparently the only one with half a brain) tells me they cannot give it to me b/c the script because is ONE day early. ONE?!!?! I calmly replied in my best Adam Sandler impression "ONCE AGAIN INFORMATION I COULD'VE USED YESTERDAY!!" Apparently they didn't give a shit that they for one told me to come back and pick up my medicine the same day when all they had to do was look in their system to see that I couldn't. And secondly made me wait inside another 30 minutes even though I couldn't pick it up. What was the guy's response u might ask..? "Oh my bad I'm new." I have since started going to the one on Park @ Tollway. NEVER experience those problems and the techs have the common sense to give me a script a day early because they use good discretion. They also can tell a smudge from an alteration of a script. So, do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from this CVS on Parker & Midway. Trust me you will regret going there for ANYTHING. read more

This is the first negative review I have ever felt compelled to write. The service was at best inept. My first trip thru the drive thru an hour after my prescription had been called in and they had never heard of me. My second trip through the drive thru, they filled not the first prescription but the last, denying they ever received the first. Until they realized I knew what pharmacist took my prescription, then they were aware of the other prescription. Lastly, I asked for muscle tape, the young lady at the window acted like she had never heard of muscle tape. Then she replies, "That is a medical product!" Excuse me, I thought I was at a pharmacy.
