the first time i ever came here was about 2 weeks ago. had a sudden urge for sweets, and we roamed the Torrance area for a local 24 hour CVS, unfortunately, they were all closed, even the 24 hour CVS on PCH (cleaning). hahaha. So i jump on my YELP app on my phone and directs us here. BOOOYAH, hello Charleston Chews / Fruit n Nut Bars...! was very happy. secondly, I was on a mission one day for work, and for personal developing. My Job sent images top CVS to get put on a master disc, and that did not happen smoothly. it took about an extra night but we finally got it straitened out. i had taken some pics that i needed printed. i sent them via online request and it said it would be done that night, i got to CVS on anza and torrance blvd and their system had crashed. They couldnt print out the pics i needed to complete my gift, so i called customer service and had them re-routed top store 2 This cvs on torrance and pch. When i got there, i was helped by their manager Drew who was trying to help me as best he can. He had spoked to CVS customer service for hours trying to my file re-routed. When they finally came to the conclusion that the pics weren't going to be anytime soon, we found out it was Kodak's system that was having an error and that CVS would take full responsibility for it. I went through my phone and found that an email i recieved had the picture attached, so Drew suggested i bluetooth it from my phone to their Kiosk and that worked. can you believe you can bluetooth transfer pics from phone to CVS? WTF? He printed it at no charge, and gave me $20 credit to any cvs store. Thank you Drew... you have restored my faith in your company...!!!! read more

Not really a fan. Things are expensive and it's too bright. Most of the time I get and item, stand in line and then walk out because there is only one cashier. If things cost so much, at least hire more people. read more

Called in the a.m. and spoke to female pharmacist who said she'd fill and place my meds on shelf to pick up. Came in an hour later, no meds! Pharmacist assistant said they couldn't fill it. Asked if they had the medication, she said no. Said I could call all the other CVS pharmacies to see if the had that medication. Pharmacist wouldn't speak directly to me, only through assistant. This isn't the first time for me or many other family members and friends who have gone to this CVS. This CVS has everyone over a barrel. I hate dealing with unprofessional people like this who are supposed to be helping, not hindering people in need of their service. read more

why, oh why is this drug store the closest one to my home? why do I always think its too far of a drive to go to the brand new sparkly clean and well stocked CVS up in Hermosa Beach? I frequent this place because of its location but it doesn't make sense to me how it is so big, full of so much crap and sort of on the 'in need of a good cleaning, restocking and updating its inventory' side of drugstore life. I do have to give it three stars because I never go home without getting what I need. read more

I've been getting my prescriptions filled here for 2+ years. The pharmacists and technicians here are very helpful and watch out for me. For example my dr accidentally called in a prescription for "brand name only" which had a copay of $100. Pharmacy called to make sure that's what I wanted with the option of them clearing generic with the dr's office -- copay $7.50. Always on top of stuff like that here. I do not think it is an unorganized store at all! the pharmacists are not helpful though. when I asked one male pharmacist if there was anything specific with my new prescription that i should know, he literally read the side of the bottle to me and very condescendingly. read more

This is the closest CVS to my house but I may transfer my prescriptions to another one. The pharmacy itself is totally unorganized! There is ALWAYS a line and it is not a fast moving line. The store is clean and neat but the lines are always horrendous! It doesn't matter the time of day, I am never in and out. So frustrating because I loved the one by our old house. I hope it gets better and fast! read more

Pharmacy can be incredibly old fashioned and inefficient. Customer service can be horrible. Be prepared to wait. Recently my 10 year old son was very ill and our doctor faxed a prescription over. CVS said it would be ready when we arrived. We arrive and their computer system was down and they said they could not retrieve the faxed prescription. Luckily I had a paper copy. So, I am with my ill son standing there. He is in misery with double ear infections. His prescription is for a simple $5 antibiotic. What does the pharmacist do. Absolutely nothing. Says he can not help us and does not lift a finger or waste a moment trying to figure out a way to. I will avoid this place like the plague in the future. read more

A week ago, my previous pharmacy was bought by CVS. So, in the spirit of convenience, I decided to have my prescriptions switched to this location since it is closer to my home. I called on Monday afternoon about my issue and within two hours, my pickup had been arranged for the time that I wanted.( The next day.) Clean store, clean parking lot. Abby Rexrode is a wonderful, knowledgeable pharmacist--- I ought to know, since I am a physician. Fortunately, I have not been there when any solicitors such as D.A.R.E. or "help the homeless" have. The Rite Aid stores in Redondo Beach are plagued with solicitors at their front doors, so I refuse to patronize those stores. read more

This CVS is absolutely terrible. The Kodak photo center should be completely thrown in the trash as it is useless and never works. Both the WIFI and USB methods on the kiosk will reject your phone every time and if you send your photo for pick up, they will come out in poor quality with bad margins. The CVS in general is at least 10 years behind the times, everything is old and worn out. There's hardly any employees available to help as well. I've wasted far too many hours in this terrible store and feel like an idiot for giving it as many chances as I have. Needless to say, I will never go back again and hope it fails quickly so something up to par can replace it. read more

This CVS location gets 5 stars mainly because of the pharmacy and the staff that works there. I have been coming here for years and every single visit feels like a small town pharmacy. They are super friendly, get it done fast, and the overall experience is just nice. The store itself is well kept and clean. This CVS is the best one I've been too to date. read more

There is always a line, the cashiers don't bother to try and organize the line and the cashiers are always slow. At least 15 times I have had to wait while the cashier talked to someone else. Of all the drug stores I have been to, it is just the worst. Always a bad time. read more

I got a rain check from CVS on this location, almost 2 weeks ago, they had eggs on sale, which advertised in the ad but they never had them on the shelves for a whole week. The reason I know because I live 2 minutes from the store and also pass by to work everyday and pretty much over there. So I told the girl that I went in just about everyday, I never see eggs. She said the vendor doesn't stock that many but she can write me a rain check. I said I wanted 10 dozens. First she checked the ad if there was a limit but there wasn't. Then 5days later I went in after the sale was over. I saw eggs on the shelves and tried to get them with the rain check I had. The cashier name "Marcos" was just about to die when he saw a rain check with that price. Then said oh no eggs are so expensive now for regular price also said that I can't have all these. I have to share with other customer and there 's a limit too. I said if there's a limit , a girl that wrote a rain check wouldn't write for me because that was a first thing she looked at the ad if there was a limit to buy. He spoke so loud that all he can give to me was only 4 dozens. I said no way then he said let me call my manager. When manager came he said the same thing and asked me who wrote this rain check. I said I don't know, it was your employee which I don't know her name because I don't work here. Then he tried to tell me that I can't buy this much eggs, speacially for the price in the rain check and he said all I can have is 4 dozens only. I felt like I did something wrong. No honor for the rain check ,have to cut the amount on the rain check . He said he had to make sure they have enough eggs to sale to other people. That's not my problem if you just stock 10 dozens at a time & is not my fault if the regular price is half price higher. Never see anything like this before, the guy"Marcos" so rude also the manager. Woww big corporate but can't give what they wrote on rain check. Somebody higher than these guys should take care of this problem. Bad business and never want to go back.
